Just tried the Marris in Anaheim off Santiago. Damn that was bomb. Ordered large calzone, garlic bread and calamari. My daughter takes her calamari seriously. Totally best calamari she has had. Great Italian dishes. This is our go to place for take out. My daughter and her friends went there for their Prom night dinner. My daughter said the staff treated them great and the practically had the whole place to themselves for the group. We have also used them for catering for my Italian family. They are a tough crowd to serve Italian food to (everyone is a critic), and they all could not stop raving about the lasagna. read more

My boyfriend and I came to eat here after hearing my parents talk our ears off about how great it is and how big the portions are. Well- they were not wrong. I am stuffed and I have lunch and dinner for tomorrow still! The food is so good all the way up to the presentation of how it is plated. Senna and the family who runs this little joint along with their other locations, are just fantastic. The team here made sure we had everything we needed and are so personable. We found this place in a small shopping center that looks a little run down but we were pleasantly surprised with how amazing the food was. We were greeted immediately and ordered their sampler appetizer, large Matterhorn pizza, meatball sandwich, and spinach and cheese bread. The food was so flavorful.... The cheese in the mozzarella sticks pulled just perfectly. Their wings were tasty, the fried zucchini crunchy and delicious. Their ranch was fantastic. Their pizza that is how a pizza should be, just a little dough and plenty of toppings cooked just right. The sandwich was delicious, but my favorite this was the spinach bread... it was so the perfect amount of cheese and spinach, the bread had a perfect crunch to it yet soft and fluffy on the inside. The owners came and talked to us and were so friendly and took the time to get to know us. This place is now my number 1 to get pizza. We didn't order any pasta dishes this time but I look forward to it next time we go and believe it won't disappoint. Service was exceptional! food was exceptional! The family special is a really good deal for around $30. It comes with a large pizza, salad, and your choice of pasta. Somewhere under mountains of cheese, a few pepperoni were hiding - not nearly enough for my taste. The salad was not very fresh at all. The tomatoes were soft, and the lettuce was wilted. The spaghetti with meat sauce was ok. We also ordered baked ziti and garlic bread, which were both good. Pass on the greasy egg plant Parmesan. It had a strange metallic taste. read more

While I've been to Marri's several times, because I'm a total pizza addict I've only tried the pasta here once (it was awesome!). All the other times I've visited I've ordered pizza and I've never been anything but totally satisfied :-) My go-to order here is an extra-large; that way there are always lots of leftovers to enjoy at home! Tip: While the ambiance here is really nice, because of the Pandemic you might not even notice it; pick-up and delivery are the order of the day until further notice. A hidden gem. Family owned. It is a small place hidden in a strip mall right near the freeway offramp, you may want to order to go. The food is very good! I called to tell them they forgot a topping on our pizza and the lady kept asking the cook if she put it on. I really wanted to love this place since it's close to us, but I just couldn't. Customer service was good and had no issues with online ordering, but the pizza itself was just such a let down. It was too cheesy, the pepperonis are under the cheese which unfortunately doesn't cook them well enough and holds the grease inside (which some may prefer of course, just not my cup of tea). The crust didn't have much flavor, the sauce was bland, and the crust was a little burnt. Since the crust was almost burnt the cheese couldn't be melted any more, so the cheese just pulled right off the pizza when you took a bite. We had a coupon that had no expiration date but were told it was old and we couldn't use it. Asked to speak to the owner. Was told they were not there. Should have left. Everything was very well wrapped and warm or cool as it should be. The Lasagna was spot on and the Italian Sausage and Garlic Bread had just the right amount of seasoning. First off, I placed my order 3 hours in advance to receive at a certain time, my order came an hour late!!! I'm not exaggerating when I say 1 hour.. When my order arrived I asked what was going on and in his words exactly " He said it was a shit show " Wow is all I can say!
