Small intimate setting. Wow! Really good! Not sure if I've ever had Argentinian food, but this seems to be the real deal and very authentic. They have these meat platters that give you a taste of a variety of their food....I would suggest starting with one of those. They come out on a small cooker tray, so they are still sizzling. From the moment they brought the free bread out, I was amazed by this place. They use a chimichurry sauce on almost everything, even the bread. Get the beef samosas.....so good. Even though I didn't try everything, it was great and I would recommend going and I'm sure everything is great. read more

Excellent meal!! We were a bit concerned walking in, but that was quickly changed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding! We tried the provolone appetizer and empanadas and the were out of this world! Several of us had skirt steak all cooked exactly as we ordered. My father and brother in law did the Meat Lovers for two and couldn't stop raving about each bite they took. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the delay in getting our desserts and check. Cuisine and service are always top notch at Martin Fiero's! On a few occasions the Chef has personally came to the tables to introduce himself and asked how we liked the food. I am so incredibly sad and depressed. We have been coming to martin fiero every year we have vacationed in Naples - since they were in their old location. It is the type of place we talk about all year long until we finally arrive to our two weeks vacation in Naples. In fact I thought I had written a yelp review awhile ago. We love this place so much it always had such a big spot in our heart. We spent awhile in Argentina and Uruguay a have an incredibly love for the place, it's culture and food. We lived in NYC and Brooklyn for years and nowhere came close to satisfying our Argentinan/Uruguayan food needs. Some tried to but they were never like being THERE. Martin fiero always transported us back to buenos aires and to the mercado del puerto in Montevideo. That is until our last trip in March, 2016. After a few minutes of being seated it just felt different. We had three different servers within the first few minutes and had a few dishes that were almost delivered to us bc they didn't know whose table the dish belonged to. But the most heartbreaking thing was the food. FIVE SOLID STARS for the their heavenly morcilla and chorizo that is legit. I will go back always for those things. But the offal I used to die for was horribly and embarrassingly precooked in small pieces and then re "heated" (aka fried into nasty crispy bits) in a pan. The tripe and the kidneys were always grilled prior To this and they were always served in very large pieces. In fact you can go back to a pic I took and uploaded here from 3 years ago and see how they used to serve the tripe!! In one whole piece with 4 skewers to hold it in place - just like they would do in South America. The fact that they have not only precooked these precious cuts (sorry but that is nasty) they don't even bother to grill them anymore. Lazy, cheap and not even close to authentic anymore. The manager (who is Mexican... No disrespect but where is the kind Uruguayan owner I was always used to seeing? Maybe he needs to come back and check on his restaurant again or make sure there is an argentine or Uruguayan on staff? ) was kind and did take the stuff off our order and I found out the truth about precooking the stuff after I told him we'd pay double and wait for the offal to be properly grilled. Well you can do that when they've all been cut up and fried yesterday. I will take his advice and call the week before and request my orders be grilled and whole like they used to do and won't give up on this place but I'm sorely disappointed. Please reconsider doing this and also hire better staff - the place was not the way it used to be. read more

Tremendous food and service. An authentic Argentine experience. We found this restaurant almost on accident and had the best meal out we have had in a long time. It's a small place, so either come early or call ahead for a reservation. We came on a Friday night, and had live music (an excellent flautist) for the duration of our meal. We started with the empanadas and provoleta (provolone fried with garlic and vegetables) - both quite excellent. We tried several main dishes. Adventurous meat esters should try the original parrillada - various meats (including organs) served on a tabletop charcoal grill. They serve a number of other steak options, all grass fed and cooked over charcoal. The steak is served Argentine style, meaning it's lightly seasoned meat on a plate. No sauce, no pound of fries. The sides are nicely portioned (and you can get fries if you really want them) The raviolis are served in a very flavorful tomato sauce, and the tomato and avocado salad is a refreshing choice for those that prefer vegetables. We finished everything off with dulce de leche crepes, flan and a strong Cuban espresso. Our server was fantastic. She is a native of Buenos Aires and takes great pleasure in sharing her home country's cuisine. She recommended an excellent Malbec blend to accompany our meal, and her suggestions for dishes were spot-on. It's sad to think that this is our only night in Naples because I would happily return to this slice of South America. read more

First experience with Argentine food so a lot of the menu was new to us. To start, I can't say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They were more than happy to help us understand the menu and find something that would fit our liking. We sat outside (which is on a sidewalk in the strip mall with a parking lot view) & both the hostess and our waitress took turns coming out to help answer our questions and check on us. I had read the Empanadas were a must-have, so I asked about them...I was told by the hostess that they are great and her mother-in-law makes them daily. As most of the reviews say, they were outstanding! I had the Outside Skirt steak and my wife had the Sorrentino. We were both very happy with our meals and the Tostones side was a new and pleasant experience for me. During dinner, the chef came out a couple of times and asked how our specific menu items were, which was nice. Like most other reviews, yes, the strip mall location is a drawback, but hey, you're eating in Florida so you expect it going in. The price was a bit more than our regular dinner out ($80-$90) for the two of us, but included app, dinner, shared bottle of sangria and dessert). Best meal I had in Naples, in a two and a half week span when we ate out every other night. This place is so much more than a steakhouse. In fact, I ate vegetarian that night (not by choice--long story) and was amazed by the grilled watermelon salad, the fried cheese and heirloom tomatoes appetizer, and the sides - fried plantains, yucca, fries. Their meats are some of the most delicious I've ever tasted. I've been there three times since I moved to Naples and I'm left feeling full and satisfied each time! I spoke briefly with the owner and he was a very kind, helpful and funny man. Best hole-in-the-wall I've ever been to. Having lived in Argentina for 15 years, it's difficult for argentine steakhouses to meet my expectations, but this one has succeeded. Everything was beyond exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was wonderful, and the decor is authentic. It's like I never even left home. They even had live accordion music. There were many Americans who were in the restaurant, and they also commented how they enjoyed the food, so it's not just for Argentinians. I highly suggest this restaurant to everyone! Everything we ordered was on point. When we arrived there was about a half hour wait but what could you expect for a Friday night, the air was warm and they had seats outside so we stayed and sure are glad we did. We ordered the meat lovers combo and all the meats were moist and stacked with flavor. The sides were just as perfect and staff was friendly. There was a guy playing the harp when we first got there which was a nice touch. They are definitely family(kid) friendly as most Spanish speaking natives are. So being there for date night was still comfortable being around well behaved children. We got a dulce de leche empanada and espresso with whip for dessert. Quite pleasing for a night cap. What an amazing atmosphere! I couldn't get enough of the staff and ambiance. I have been there at least once a month for the past year with not one bad thing to say. I have made it a mission to try every item on their menu. It is my first recommendation for anyone looking for something different and enjoyable. The food was good not what I have read below. I would not jump for joy here. So first time did not review. Came back not impressed again for food I can find better on golden gate a few things were good but meats were dry and overcooked can't say highly recommended. Gave it 3 stars because Service was good but I would not rush over to this place. Hey it's my opinion but I have had much better Argentina food so good luck on this place i was not impressed. Got back into town on Wednesday (I'm from California) and I was craving a chivito al pan. It has been a while since I visited Naples and should come back more often, but I found the business had moved and I love the new place!! The smoke from the grill is much more controlled now, you can still smell it of course, but it adds to ambiance of the themed restaurant. My lunch sandwich was amazing and the chef added a basil sauce which really brought out the flavor of the meat. Who knew? Anyway, the server Vicky was really sweet and insisted I try the sweet tea she just made. That too was perfect. And the fries!! Gives Five Guys fries a run for their money. We had the combo for two (short ribs, shrimp, scallops, and steak). I was surprised of the lack of seasoning and flavor in the ribs and steak. Had to add salt and pepper. The meat was a little tough. Nothing really special about the seafood neither. I am not an Argentinian and this may be the way it is suppose to taste. My Latin food benchmark are Cuban and Columbian food...lots of flavor.
