    Lobster Mac
    Alma M.

Had an early dinner at the bar on 4-22-26 during NFL Draft week. Our server, Diane was very personable and attentive. We had a Caesar salad, 16 oz ribeye steak and lobster mac & cheese. The salad was delicious with plenty of dressing and large croutons. The lobster Mac & cheese was not great, it lacked flavor and it barely had any lobster. We ordered our steak medium rare and it came out medium well. We sent the steak back and a new one came out about ten minutes later. The steak could have been better, it was not flavorful. Matthew from behind the bar took our drinks and mac & cheese off our bill which was appreciated. Probably won't eat here again and prefer Hyde Park Steakhouse.

The two of us were able to walk and be seated fairly easily on Thursday night. Service was excellent and we had a comfortable spot back by the kitchen. The drinks were good, especially the lavender limoncello. My wife had chicken Parm and gnocchi. The chicken Parm was excellent and quite large. The gnocchi was very heavy but in a good garlic cream sauce. I got the pasta special which was ravioli with bare ribs. The spare ribs were fatty as expected and oddly seasoned. Not as enjoyable as my wife's chicken Parm and I should have known better.

Had an impromptu dinner at Martorano's inside the casino. Service was great, but the food was just okay, nothing memorable. Especially at that price. The Caesar salad was way overdressed, and my steak was over-seasoned. Even without the toppings, it leaned too spicy for my taste.

Service was super fast tonight and there was a great vibe in the restaurant. Got the salmon special and the glaze was the perfect mix of sweet and tangy

Before ordering ANY pasta dish, be aware of the fact there is only ONE single way they cook their noods: rare al dente plus. This means that if you like to eat your pasta cooked and edible, don't waste your time. The server and manager explained to us that it is a strict kitchen rule that is enforced - no allowance to customize since they will only make it one way. The toppings, sauce and everything else was fine but what good would it be without eating the virtually uncooked pasta with it? Might as well not even include pasta in my opinon! What I did enjoy were a few times I did their happy hour (in the evening during the weekdays after 9pm) with their wings, garlic fries and cheesesteak.

I enjoyed my dinner at Martorano's Prime. My boyfriend and I went on a Wednesday evening at 5:00pm. We made a reservation and were seated immediately. We had quick service the whole dinner, but had four different waiters/waitresses serving us at one point and were asked the same question multiple times. This was confusing because we were not sure who to ask if we needed anything. The bread that is offered is fresh and warm. The two oils were both delicious when dipped in. For an appetizer, we ordered the calamari. It was warm and crispy when it arrived at our table and the balsamic glaze was delicious. The Chicken Cutlet was huge and super flavorful. The Bucatini Carbonara is delicious. The pasta is cooked to a "true al dente" and fairly firm, which I love! The Chocolate Cake for dessert was absolutely our favorite part of dinner. The chocolate is extremely rich and the cream cheese icing was amazing. The Yo Cuz white chocolate topper was a great addition. I would like to come back and try other dishes at Martorano's Prime.

Awesome food great service !!!!! Love it definitely will be back again!!!!! NY strip was amazing and delicious!!!!

Seafood special. Crab stuffed flounder was just ok

Been here a few times. Steak so tender it cuts like butter, don't need a steak knife. Pricey at $74 for 8oz filet which is the smallest size available. I topped it with the chili butter. Absolutely delicious. #TateApproved

Place and food AMAZING! Fine dining correctly! Portions bigger than anticipated! Flavor and temperature spot on! Multiple servers at your beck and call, professionals! It is in Rivers casino but quiet, soft lighting with the right kind of swooning music! 5 star so far! Has specials that are not on the menu. Plates for every desired taste!

Ask the Community - Martorano's Prime - Pittsburgh

Can someone under 21 have dinner there?

Hi Joe, thank you for reaching out to us. All guests in Martorano's Prime must be 21 years of age or older. Thank you.

This is a steakhouse right? Is there really only a ny strip on the menu? 1 steak at a steakhouse?

They mentioned that the menu would be expanding as the kitchen gets better training. It is limited now for sure.

The bar serves cocktails, wines, beers, and mocktails. For dinner and late-night bites, the restaurant focuses mostly on small plates and shareables, including charcuterie, chicken wings, pizzetta, steak, and salmon. They also have a Sunday brunch that serves lox bagel, shrimp and grits, French toast, mimosa, bloody Mary, etcetera. My husband and I ate one lunch here. The best aspect of The Finch was its beautiful views of downtown Pittsburgh's skyscrapers, Monongahela River, and subway trains. The foods and drink were a mixture of quality, and my husband called them "garbage" (eek!). Here are my ratings for them. Berry Mint Spritz - 4 stars - This mocktail (I could have ordered it with alcohol to turn it into a cocktail) contained strawberries, mint, lemon, syrup, and soda water. All of the flavor had settled on the bottom of the glass, so I could have used a straw to mix the drink, but I did enjoy the flavors. Summer Crab Cakes - 2 stars - I received two crab cakes, and they were some of the worst crab cakes that I have ever received anywhere. They contained too much breading and too little meat. I did not even like the flavor of the cherry tomatoes on the side. I usually love crab cakes, but with these ones, I could take only a couple of bites, and then I had the waitress throw away the rest. Hawaiian Pizzetta - 4 stars - This small pizza consisted of four slices that had cheese but no gooey cheese-pull. Other toppings were BBQ sauce drizzle, pineapple, ham, and red pepper. I thought that it tasted good. Ember Steak Skewers - 4 stars - My husband said that the steak was not the highest quality. At least the chunks of steak, peppers, onions, and mushroom (we counted one piece of mushroom!) were marinated and seasoned nicely. The total cost for this one mocktail, three foods, and one soda was $79 *plus* a 3% credit-card surcharge, tax, and a minimum tip of 18%. We asked the waitress for a receipt, but she did not bring us one, so we walked up to her to ask for it again, and we did receive it.

The atmosphere alone is worth a visit. The drinks are definitely crafted with care and have a lot of complexity, but with only two bartenders working, it took quite a while to get ours. They're good, but at that price I can really only justify having one. Note: They do not have food, just snacks like peanuts.
