Poorly managed. Less than average bar food, slow service, tried it, one and done. Went for Sunday NFL game day which they promote on the cave 104.7, server was forgetful and trying to handle too many tables, food was really not good, stale nachos piled up in a mess served without napkins or silverware. I've only been here a few times. And I've always had a good time. There is only 1 employee that just rubbed me the wrong way. She was pretty rude. Like, for instance, my friend and I were there after work and had said hey just give us a pitcher instead of one beer each, we didn't realize how cheap your pitchers were, she responded with "well, if you'd open your pie hole *yes she really said "pie hole"* then you would have known". My jaw hit the ground! The first day we had been there I had about the pitcher prices and specials etc., she was in fact the one who I asked. She's the bartender, so it's her job to properly sell their items. The cheaper she makes my tab, the higher her tip is. But, she's no longer there recently. Our waitress Nicole was amazing! Actually all the staff was very friendly helpful and attentive. I can almost always spot a smile on their faces. They came by to our table often checking on us despite being extremely busy. It was a very fun and light atmosphere without too much noise or overcrowding. And the pool tables are top notch. The beer selection was good. I didn't have any issues finding one I liked. The prices for everything were fine. We will definitely be going there again! read more

Hands down the best sports bar in town. Fresh house made food and amazing staff! Great parking, pool, shuffle board, and darts. Great place to watch the Chiefs, Royals or Cardinals. Went to Marty's last weekend to watch the UFC fights and have a few beers. We usually have very good service at Marty's during the fights. But not this time. After not being helped for thirty minutes, we finally had to go up to the bar to order some drinks. Then after about two hours later a waitress stopped to check to see if we needed anything else, which we quickly ordered another round. The waitress took our order, but never came back with our drinks. Sad to see a great sports bar go downhill. read more

We used to frequent this bar before the new owners. It used to be a place where the staff enjoyed being at work and had fun! We have been here twice now and the atmosphere is pretty good. Drinks are good and prices are nice. The last visit I decided to eat there and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. The price was good at 8.99 and when they brought it out it was huge. The chicken was hanging off the sides of a nice brioche bun. The sauce that it was tossed in was very mild but had a nice flavor. As a person who likes spicey it could have been hotter but like I said the flavor was good. The fries are frozen but very tasty as well. So food was good and drinks were good but now for the bad part. The service was lacking to say the least. The girl waiting on us seemed very distracted by some of the single guys in there. Took longer than it should to get drinks but the worst part was when I paid. They were having an issue and couldn't take debit cards so you had to pay cash. This wasn't a problem and just in case you didn't have the cash they had an ATM and said they would pay the fees. So that was nice. But I had cash so it was cool. She brought the check it was 29 dollars and some change. I gave her 40 and she left. I assumed to go get my change but after 15 minutes I decided she wasn't coming back. I had to go ask for my change and she said " oh I just assumed that was my tip". REALLY?? You assume that? I don't think so you bring the change and let them leave a tip unless you tell them keep the change. I took the money back and gave her 5 dollars but I should have kept it all to prove a point. My wife and I went here to get food and drinks l. There were quite a few people here but the place was not "packed" or overwhelmed by any means. It was open seating no sign saying to wait to be seated so we sat at the the bar table behind the actual bar. We sat for fifteen minutes and no one even acknowledged us. I'm huge on customer service I would have been ok had someone just stopped by and said it would be a little longer before we could even SEE a food menu but we didn't even get that. I watched employees talking between themselves in front of what I believe was the kitchen but nobody ever came over to us. We did not get an interaction until we had walked out and we passed an employee I guess on a smoke break but at that point I just wanted to go somewhere that I would get some kind of service at. Don't know what to say, was in their June 12,2016. Had been their previously and had great food and great service. On this date I got nothing, brought my family as we were celebrating my birthday. We sat in directly next to the door and in front of the bar and sat there 15 minutes, no menu, no water, no contact at all. For Springfield, this place gets my vote hands down when it comes to drinking establishments. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and a jukebox for music. Great place to throw darts, watch a game, hang out with friends, or even toss some bean bags. I've only been in there once when I would say that it was crowded (it was St. Patty's day). Most of the time you can grab a stool at the bar, or a table with your friends, and never have a problem. It has a great mix of young and old (good for those of us in our late 20s and early 30s), which is rare in Springfield with the vast separation of college students and middle-aged people. read more

Between everyone in our group we had the catfish, pizza, sliders, mushrooms, fried pickles, and bottle caps. EVERYTHING was so good! Our waiter was Hunter and he was amazing! Will definitely be back! Where do I start? I think the food may have been okay, but it was luke warm at best when we got it as it sat on the table in the kitchen for at least 10 min (we had a great view of both the kitchen and a clock by the bar, 10 min is the minimum). Sheila seemed to have many things to do other than bring us our food while it was still fresh. There were 17 tvs scattered throughout, not too bad. But the problem was this is a sports bar, 9 had Drop the Mic on, 3 with the NCAA tourney, 2 had the NIT, 1 golf and the other 2 might have had the weather channel, not sure what it was. Perhaps the biggest issue was with the server. While we were waiting our 10 min for the food to come to us, here is what our server did: rubbed her face at least twice (not a scratch, but a full on hands covering her eyes and cheeks rub), ran her fingers through her hair, picked up trash off the floor, counted money out twice, carried off a set of dirty dishes and walked by our food twice. We never saw her wash her hands and she was only out of sight for maybe 2 seconds dropping off the dishes. After this, she picked up our silverware by the wrong ends and passed them to us using the wrong ends, dirty hands all over where I'm supposed to eat from. The gal in the bar looked competent enough, maybe we should have eaten there instead. Feel free to give Marty's a try, but if Sheila is your waitress, I'd go for a change of scenery. read more
