Great place! Great location. Lots of parking. You are welcome when you come in and they sit you down, they are trying to keep everyone 6 feet apart and mask are require. People are friendly and nice, they kept coming over to make sure we were doing well with our orders. The food is delicious and fresh, the only thing was that the "spicy Salmond" is not spicy at all. My husband & I ate at this restaurant for the first time. We read the many great reviews, so we decided to try it. We got seated right away, considering the restaurant was full. My food came first & I was half way done before my husband received his food. That was a little annoying only because, I did not want my husband eating alone. Well, the waitress, surprisingly, brought us a salmon collar with an apology for the delay. Mishaps occur, and truly it was not a big deal. The food was the best we have had in a long time. Tried this place for the first time yesterday. The sushi was good, and the sushi chefs were attentive. One of the chefs gave us a little plate of blue fin tuna-a small app on the house. That was thoughtful. The only reason I'm holding 2 starts back is because the service from the wait staff lacked big time. We never got a refill on our waters ever, although we looked around to ask for it, to find that both waitstaff and obvious female business owner We're hanging out at the front service desk area and we couldn't get their attention. We would look back and wave, but no one cared to see that we had been sitting there waiting for our check for about 15 minutes. Finally I had to go up and ask for it, then, after I get my credit card, it took a while to get that back too. It wasn't a busy evening, so I really didn't understand why the service lacked so badly. The minute a to go order or plate was ready, the wait staff and the owner would come up and grab the plates right in front of us, but gave no acknowledgment. We were the only one sitting at the Sushi bar. Might be back to see if service changes after we post this review. read more

Rare for me to do a negative review but here it is... Went here on Father's Day. I'm not sure if the men making the sushi were mad working on Father's Day but honestly everything was a disappointment. The eel roll I got had hard skin or bone of some sort. I had to force myself to finish it. The monkey brain was ok and probably the only reason I'd give it a 1 star. My husband didn't like his roll either. I usually try his but it didn't look too appealing to try and I was kinda dreading having to finish mine already. Miso soup tasted sour. Waitress was nice but she kept forgetting to give us things she said she was going to bring like the extra plate on the side. No biggie we just ate off the sushi plates anyways. We love sushi and I could usually find at least one reason to come back to try something else but couldn't here. So I'm kinda sad about that. read more

My daughter wanted sushi so we decided to check this place out. The food was okay for a first timer, nothing I'm screaming telling people to try. I feel they can work on their customer service skills. When we first came in the lady offered us a seat at the bar , of course I denied that because my daughter isn't of age, so I didn't feel she needed to be sitting at a bar. Then she said she had no room for 2 ppl , and quickly changed her answer and gave us a table and chair that instantly rubbed me wrong, but since she wanted sushi I stuck it out. Their menus don't match what they have for example I seen salad in which I wanted but they don't have it, at least that's what I was told, I asked for salt and pepper they had salt no pepper lol I'm not making this up lol, The strawberry lemonade was very good, the chicken was decent it had a lot of pepper on it for some reason... you know the pepper that they don't have. Went here on a wednesday for lunch with my family. Wasn't busy. The quality of food though, was great. They gave fat slices of juicy salmon sashimi and thick tuna sashimi, which I think were the best part of the meal. Overall the sashimi and spicy tuna roll was good, pork cutlet a but dry, beef and chicken Terriyaki were decent, and miso soup was quite salty. Decided to dine here yesterday.... We ordered the heart attack, baked green mussels, Philly roll, baked salmon roll, and the caterpillar roll. This place is very generous with their sushi. The rolls had so much fish. I was shocked because most places like to skimp on the fish and try to use more imitation crab and rice. The food was good and would definitely come back . What a super cute place! There were pictures on the wall of their fun patrons. I have been looking far and wide in the IE for a sushi restaurant that serves sweet shrimp with fried shrimp heads. I was pleasantly surprised that they have it here! And it was pretty darn good. We ordered the oysters and these were massive sized oysters. Tasted fresh and were good. They were just huge so slurping was not an option. The chicken in my husband's bento box was really yummy. I stole a bite and was so happy the meat was hot, white meat, and perfectly cooked. The next thing I want to rave about is the uni. It's hard to find good uni in the IE. This uni was just beautiful. It was teeming over in an orange wave of uni goodness. I wanted to eat it slowly and savor the cold, creamy, fresh sea taste of it. My mouth was extremely happy. They apologized for the long wait and yes, it took a bit of time to get the sushi bar items out which wouldn't have been a problem but my husband has this thing about waiting to eat with me. You can find yourself eating at a sushi place where he rolls are just eh or perhaps you'll find yourself at a all you can eat where you'll notice not much creativity or taste is put into your roll or you'll find yourself here where you'll notice the sushi chefs (Richard is our favorite) will spend a bit of time creating the perfect roll. I love the Tuna side of sushi so for me finding a place that offers more rolls on the tuna side is important. Here you'll find just that and more. We ordered the 1) Heavenly Burrito - not so heavenly anymore. Rather tasteless. Racist with very poor service To give a better context let me explain that I'm Hispanic. I went to this place to pick up an order and when I got there, two Asian ladies were at the counter but nobody greeted me, I introduced myself and told them I went to pick up my order, both looked at my with no response and neither asked me anything else, one was swiping a card and the other was checking some bags, so I thought they're busy, I'll wait, after certain time, three white girls showed up at the counter and one lady immediately bows to them and asked them how can she help them, they said they're picking up an order, the lady said it wasn't ready but she was going to process the payment, then the girls left and I thought, even tho I came early, it doesn't matter I'm next, but then again, there was awkward silence, like I wasn't there, that's when I asked them politely, excuse me, when are you going to help me with the order? The two of them start speaking in their language, and then in a very dismissive way one of them says, what's the name for the order? By this time many minutes have elapsed since I got there, they didn't care I was there until I asked them again, after they even bowed to the other girls, there was not even an apology. Sushi-tize me Captain! I stopped by Marui Sushi while visiting my parents in Corona for Bachelor night. I'm always surprised that most restaurants are closed by 8PM in this sleepy town, but luckily Marui Sushi is the MVP and stays open until 10PM. I called ahead and ordered the Lobster Roll, Vegetable Tempura, a side of Gyoza, and arrived about 20-minutes later to pick up my order. Marui's team did an incredible job packaging my to-go order, not forgetting a single sauce, chopsticks, or napkins. They even brought out a few sides of spicy mayo upon request. While all these items aren't typically prepared to leave the premises, everything was absolutely delicious. The Marble Lobster roll comes with a choice of Spicy Tuna or the traditional California Roll as a base, and then is topped with a variety of sauces and fried lobster. I chose the California Roll, which was fresh and drool worthy, but was a little disappointed by the lack of taste from the lobster. The Veggie Tempura and Gyoza were also perfectly crisp, crunchy, and were all served with their own sauces. I'd gladly return for round two! read more
