My family and I hired Mary and her Team Edica to come and do a post construction and very thorough cleaning of specific rooms within our home. Mary is an absolute delight to work with and directly assisted me with booking even though I was out of her traditional service local. She assisted me in finding the right time and services for what we needed, checking in with me regarding pricing the entire time. When the day of our cleaning came Mary reached out to me in the morning as a reminder and to notify me that Team Edica was on their way. Once Team Edica arrived I walked them through the areas they would be cleaning and they immediately got to work. They cleaned for about 3.5 hours ensuring each room was spotless, especially the kitchen. Once they had finished they had me do a walk through and check the spaces that they had cleaned. After they had left Mary messaged me to check back in and ensure her team did a fabulous job. The team did a deep clean after tenants had lived in our place for 7 years. They did an incredible job. The team removed stuck on tape on our hardwood floors without a scratch. I would recommend Mary & A Mop cleaning service for routine cleaning if you prefer using a cleaning service and aren't price sensitive. I asked for deep clean of 3 items in small apt.: small stove deep cleaned, tile and grout scrubbed on small countertop, and 250 sq ft laminate flooring thoroughly cleaned, which required moving some furniture. The price was $378. Mary assured me items would be deep cleaned by 2 cleaners in a 2 hour time frame. They were here almost two hours, and the stove was thoroughly cleaned, grout cleaned, however the flooring still didn't pass the "white sock" test (i.e. will white socks be clean walking on newly cleaned floors). May knocked off $48, and offered to send same crew back to re-mop laminate floors next week, which I declined. Why move furniture around again for same crew doing same thing? Crew were very nice, although started the visit asking how much rent I paid). In retrospect, I wish I'd gone with an individual housekeeper. For the same money, an individual could have worked 7+ hours and could meticulously deep clean small apartment. read more

Unfortunately this business is poorly managed. I paid $328 for a "deep clean" that was barely a normal clean. I spent 2 hours cleaning myself after they left. I did call to complain after to have the owner and Jessica try to fix the situation. Jessica was awesome - after a deep dive I learned she was new ( Mary said she had been with the company for a while) she was a hard worker I watched her work after the the call back (complaint) while Mary tried to distract me with pictures of her family. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Mary is very condescending- as I said "you didn't mop that area" she blocked me and wiped the area and said "what are you talking about? I don't see anything, maybe condensation from the wall?" There was no arguing. I tipped Jessica as she was a hard worker. Hopefully she received it. I have so much more to say about this SAD business. You took my money and screwed me!! Never again! I will make sure everyone knows the quality of business that you do. I have a condo that was so dirty. I am a healthcare worker and during the pandemic I worked sooo much overtime that I didn't take the time to deep clean!!! I asked her about it and she gave a rave review and I called them and made an appointment. I spoke to the owner of the company and she was so nice & caring & professional!! I explained everything and she understood & recommended to start with a deep clean and then have them come monthly to 'keep it clean' Candy & Dalia came & did such a good job with no judgment, and they spent extra time cleaning everything (including my oven and toaster and the windowsills!!) It was crazy how detailed they were!! I am so impressed with them!! They also stayed over to make sure everything was done correctly and that I was happy!!
