Definitely the best burrito in Seattle! The coffee was decent- could use more maple flavor, but the burrito was tasty and a decent size. We planned to take it to gasworks, but the weather wasn't on our side. We lucked out and grabbed two small seats inside. It was pretty cramped, but so worth it!

Really impressed with this little cafe. We got a bacon sandwich and a chorizo burrito. Both were stuffed with meat and huge. The bacon was crispy and the onions added an excellent sweetness. Service is was quick and friendly. I can see why they're talked about so highly! Can't wait to come back.

This is my new favorite breakfast and coffee spot! The drinks are perfect, food is big portions and so yummy, and the staff is super friendly! I notice Mas cafe is more a to go spot for many customers. They have indoor and outdoor seats more bar style seating. The cafe has cute decorations and feels very lively and welcoming yet cozy. On our first visit we sat outside and ate as it was busy inside. My second visit I took to go and ate in my car in the front. I love that they have plenty of free street parking out front and it's never a hassle to find a spot. I have ordered the maple leaf latte twice now and it's sooo delightful. I don't drink a lot of coffee as I'm picky and prefer tea but this was so so sooo damn good. One of the best lattes I've had and at a great price with alternative milk options like oat milk. My boyfriend and I agreed these burritos are big. This is definitely a filling breakfast burrito and could be enough for two portions or leftovers. I have ordered the same thing twice now and each visit its delicious and perfect. I order the chorizo breakfast burrito with no sour cream, no pico, and add avocado and extra salsa spicy. The second time I asked for extra salsa on the side and in the burrito as I needed more! The salsa is bomb! The avocado is always fresh and they add a lot which I love. They don't skimp here and you can tell food is made with care and love. Seems like a family owned business. Come support this small business they are amazing! I am excited to return and look forward to trying the juices and tacos in the future. Can't believe I haven't tried Mas Cafe sooner. The food and coffee is sooo delicious!

Long lines for a reason... It's not a big place but the crowds come for a reason! We came for the breakfast burritos and left full. There were so many choices of burritos and sandwiches. The wait wasn't long and the food was good. I can see why it came recommended!

Family Owned Local Business. I walked in and it is a small, but efficiently managed business. Regulars would walk in and would be greeted by their first name. Always a great sign. There are a few stools to sit at while waiting or even to eat at, but dining in is very limited. Most people ordered to takeout. We ordered quite a few things here. - Rawesome (Green Juice) - Carne Asada Tacos - Al Pastor Tacos - Avocado & Egg Breakfast Sandwich - Bacon, Egg, White Cheddar Breakfast 'wich - Carne Asada Burrito - Chicken Mole Burrito Fresh squeezed juice and breakfast at Mas Cafe. Just what I needed on a fine morning during my latest visit to Seattle. Fair warning to those who are expecting a chipotle style burrito...Mas Cafe offers rice, beans, cheese, pico, salsa, sour cream. Period. I polished mine off later that day because I was still full from my green juice and Avocado & Egg breakfast sandwich. Their breakfast sandwiches in my opinion are their stars of the show. The bread has a slight sweetness to it that goes well with the savory ingredients. My only critique would be the cut of the onions. They are cut quite large and chunky. I think a more thinly sliced carmelized onion would compliment the food better. Delicious food and stellar family friendly service.

Came on my 11,000 mile foodie road trip. Walked from the city around the lake to get breakfast here. Extra spicy chorizo burrito with eggs, potatoes, beans, cheddar, pico, and sour cream. Tortilla grilled nicely. Chorizo had great flavor. Felt like a beach house when you walked in which was neat. Walked a few minutes and ate in view of the lake. Very polite staff!

My husband told me this place has been open since he was growing up- always a good sign to see a place succeed for 15+ years! We both went for the first time while on a Saturday morning walk. The line to order is long, but they keep everything moving very quickly! We both got the breakfast burritos and they are the best breakfast burritos in town- not to mention the prices are reasonable ($11.50 for a sandwich and $12 for a hefty burrito). Next time, I'd try their cold brew as well- only $3.25 for a small! Despite the massive size, we both ended up eating the entire burrito. The inside of the cafe is small but they have a cute patio if you can get a seat- we ended up walking to nearby Gas Works Park and enjoying our burritos with some fabulous views of Lake Union and downtown Seattle. We will be back with our friends in tow!

April 23 2025: Visited Mas Cafe for the first time today. I ordered the sausage breakfast burrito and it was delicious, with mild salsa. I certainly will be back to try more things. Walking down to the gasworks park waterfront is the ideal way to enjoy the burrito!

This is a great little cafe! A surprisingly large menu for breakfast and lunch. I drink a bit of coffee which is great here, but the juices are even better! I always get one, even if I'm also getting a coffee. My personal favorites are the vegetarian burrito, avocado breakfast sandwiches, and chicken sandwiches. The veggie breakfast burritos are huge but everything tastes fresh and is filling. The location is small, but there's still a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating if you plan to linger. The staff is very friendly and does a great job of cranking out great food and drinks even during the rush! In short, it's the only breakfast spot you need in Wallingford, and there's not one bad combination of food or drink to try.

Mas Cafe obviously already has a stellar recognition on Yelp, but here's one more praising review. We stopped by for breakfast burritos (I got it with sausage) which was absolutely delicious, one of the best I've had! I also had an americano which was pretty good. My friends had the mango mojito smoothie which I tried and it was very refreshing. I'm sure their lunch is also fab. Even though the cafe itself is a small shack, it's within five minutes walking distance to a lovely park with amazing view of Seattle, making it a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast/lunch. This was probably my favorite meal during my weekend trip to SEA.

I'm giving them Stars for amazing customer service and decent coffee. I ordered a breakfast burrito which was huge, that's usually a good thing unless the burrito completely falls apart upon first bite. You should use foil or something to keep it together. The eggs in the burrito were burnt and tasted like wet dog, the salsa and veggies were fine but I only had like 3 pieces of potato. Took 3 bites and threw it out. Maybe try their breakfast sandwich but don't go for the burrito. read more

BEST burrito I've ever had was the #4 sausage breakfast burrito this morning. Fire!! I also tried the Huli Huli sandwich last week & it tastes extremely similar to the grilled chicken breast sandwich from Paseo & Un Bien. The biggest difference between the two sandwiches is the texture of the bread used. The bread on the Huli Huli sandwich is softer compared to the texture of Paseo & Un Bien's bread. Fire fire fire. My new favorite spot. read more

I had driven, rode, run by this place for several months after moving to Wallingford in the summer and I am extremely disappointed it took me so long to order from them. So far I have only had one sandwich from them (huli huli) and I am entranced! It was this juicy, wet and messy sando on a soft role that had a bit of crispness to it still. I after this one sando, I am willing to put them in the same sandwich tier of Paseo and Tats. Can't wait to come back and get one of these breakfast burritos people are raving about. The service was quick (only 5 minutes wait at lunchtime) and you can tell the family that runs the place really cares about the food they make and their customers. read more

Más Café consistently delivers my favorite breakfast burritos in Seattle. Coming from SF, it's painful how few places in Seattle know how to make a halfway decent burrito. That endless search for Seattle's best breakfast burrito ended at Mas Cafe. The flavor, the quantity and the price all rest in harmony. In fact, I've known about this place for months but withheld telling anyone other than close friends and family so as not to disrupt the delicate balance of culinary excellence and prompt service. In the past few years, I've spent a significant time in Mexico and with each bite of their magnificent burritos, you can almost feel the warmth and sunshine as if you were taking a stroll through the local malecon. If you ever get the chance to visit the Pyramid of the Sun in Mexico city, climb to the very top, breathe deep, and you might experience some of the passion that Mas Cafe brings to their small Seattle outpost. read more

This place is absolutely incredible. Every breakfast sandwich is fire (I especially love the pickled jalapeños in the sausage breakfast sandwich), filling, and fairly priced. Juices/smoothies are all good, good coffee, and the steak lunch burrito is huge and tasty for the price point. There is very little seating to be had so prepare for pick up or delivery (the latter of which I get multiple times a month and everything is still good despite me not being very close). read more

Major improvements from the previous ownership/operation in the space. They'll make me a simple NYC bodega-style EOR if I ask, but I'm working my way through the more flavorful menu items in sequence. Lox and capers, you're up next. Strong Mukilteo Roaster coffee is worth the small premium in price. If you're a Northlake resident or Gas Works Park visitor, make yourself a regular. read more

FINALLY! Mas Cafe has the best street tacos. They are the most authentic I've had since leaving Mexico. Small double tortillas, flavorful meat choices, amazing onions and hot sauce on the side. This is as close to taco perfection as you will find. Please check it out. You will not be disappointed. read more

The ONLY thing that isn't great is the coffee. I'm not sure why, but even if I simply get an americana coffee, it takes 10 min to get and it is lukewarm at best. read more

I'm pretty simple I usually get an americano with sweet n low and cream. They didn't have sweet n low which is ok I guess. Their service wasn't very friendly either time I went there. They do not keep enough sandwiches on hand I went back there at dinner time and had one left to choose from when they still had 2 1/2 hours left till they closed

I looked up their yelp page as well as their Instagram and knew I had to come just to get one of their lattes with their amazing foam art! They have a variety of waffles and sandwiches on the menu that seemed appetizing however because I got here after 3:30 the kitchen was closed but they have a variety of pre-made burritos and sandwiches that you could still buy. I love that they have a huge variety of non-dairy milks including soy which is my favorite. I wanted to get the turmeric latte however I mentioned that I couldn't wait to see the foam art and the Baristas told me that due to the light color of the latte, it would be difficult to see the foam art so I instead ordered the red velvet latte with soy and it was as delicious as it was cute! I also got the egg and sausage cheese burrito and it was chock full of eggs and sausage... very filling. The decor and seating options are plentiful upstairs and downstairs. They also have free pineapple infused water for guests to drink which I appreciate. Seems like a popular spot for UW students to do work as there are lots of outlets for their laptops.

I was surprised that the cake was so cheap around $4 but after the first bite, it tasted like it was from a Safeway bakery, which made me feel a bit scammed. The latte was a very light roast, so the coffee flavor was barely noticeable and it felt more like drinking hot milk. On the positive side, the servers were sweet and friendly. It took about 5-7 minutes to get our drinks, and the place was packed around 1:30 pm on a Saturday.

If you have more than three people it's going to be hard to find a table, especially in the morning. I got the Biscoff Latte which was fine. It looked pretty but the latte itself didn't taste too much like biscoff and it was soggy towards the end. I would not recommend getting it; next time I'd try the matcha.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
