The fish selections are varied and we taste the fish more than in most other poke places that offer loads of fatty or spicy toppings. This is my go-to sushi place. It's somewhat fast food & not sit down. I prefer to take my food back to my office/home altho sitting outdoors is very enjoyable. I'm not a fan of sitting indoors. It can get over crowded fast especially at lunch times. However, they have an awesome selection of sushi. The 49er roll is my favorite. I used to live the poke bowls. Those have gotten steeper in price. I have been preferring the rolls. I wish you could add on edamame/miso soup to any rolls, not just the combos. Went for Lunch Food - 3/5. Sushi was alright. Both fish quality and rice were fine and the shrimp tempura in the Debbie Roll had a decent crunch to it. I did enjoy the abundant amount of tobiko placed on top. Gyozas were bad. I expect dumplings to either have a crispy fried texture or a chewy steamed texture but this one had neither. It was lukewarm and doughy which most likely means it was microwaved. Miso soup was mellow but just soup, no contents. Service - 4/5. Friendly service and fast delivery. The beeper was not working but instead of waiting for me they took initiative to just deliver the food to me directly in the patio. Value - 2/5. With the amount of sushi restaurants competing in the area, the average flavor of the sushi stands out in a bad way. I liked that the delivery was quick, but it strengthens my suspicions that the gyoza was microwaved. Prices are not in their favor either with my combo of a roll and 4 nigiri being $20s and another $4.50 for some bad sides. Stopped by here for a quick bite to eat for dinner! I ordered their combo #31 which was the California roll and tempura roll combo. I added a miso soup to my order for $1.50. After everything, it came out to about $18. My food came out very quickly so it was perfect for a quick in and out. My California rolls were delicious and the tempura rolls were pretty good. The tempura tasted a bit spongy and not fresh though so it could've been improved, however the avocado was nice and fresh! The miso soup came in a cup and didn't have any tofu or seaweed - just the miso paste in water I assume. It tasted good but felt like it was lacking the key ingredients - I guess I really could have just drank it out of the cup! There is both indoor and outdoor seating and it was very easy to find parking nearby. This is a nice spot for a quick bite but expect you'll get about what you pay for! read more

Still a favorite local Mountain View spot! We are ordering delivery or pick-up about every other week while still sheltering in place at home. Some new favorite rolls include the DEBBIE ROLL (if you like salmon and shrimp tempura) and the CA ROLL WITH REAL CRAB (game changer!). I haven't had any issues with delivery. Before they were only on GrubHub but now I believe they're also on DoorDash. The boxes are also packed nicely and they always include enough soy sauce, ginger, wasabi, and utensils. My partner and I both ordered the make your own poke bowl to go. For $15, you definitely get your money's worth. I ended up splitting the poke bowl for two meals. I love when that happens. Their online ordering system was fairly easy too. When we got there, they were about ready to close (cleaning up and taking chairs in). They were very kind to remind us that we needed to complete the last step (free add on) which we didn't realize we needed to do on the online ordering system.
