Masago is the best kept secret for pet groomers in Austin. They did a great job with my nervous pup! On time, very friendly, and extremely convenient. I was impressed with their responsiveness to messages on Yelp and text. This was our first time trying out a "mobile" groomer, and will certainly use Masago again. At other traditional groomers my dog would sit shaking in a kennel for hours. With Masago, they were able to give him 100% of their attention, and he seemed comfortable throughout, and happy with his new haircut! read more

I've been using them for a few years now and I've always been very pleased. They are really reasonable in price and always super polite. It has always been the same pleasant lady who comes in the van, and she is a delight. I'm sure there are better groomers out there, but they provide an excellent service for what they charge. I saw someone leave a 1-star review because they had to cancel their appointment last minute. That is not a review of the service, that is just being spiteful. I highly recommend them. read more

I've given Cata multiple chances, but unfortunately, I can no longer recommend her services. She has been consistently late to every appointment, often by over an HOUR. While I understand minor delays due to traffic, this level of tardiness is unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for clients' time. She gives numerous excuses, however, never provides a remedy and it continually happens. Reliable scheduling is essential for any service-based business, and unfortunately, that hasn't been my experience here. read more

Wish I could leave less than a star but this will do! For those of you searching for a mobile groomer I can't tell you fast enough to look else where, there is no communication and she'll schedule you for 11am and show up 1-2 hours later with no heads up. The lady is rude as can be and you can tell she has no manners. Paid $100 to have my cat trimmed and cleaned and she seems so rushed to go to other customer that she does the job too quick she misses spots everywhere, on top of the that she doesn't shower them! Worst experience I've had with a business owner, talked to her on the phone and she was Agitated with me for having to come to my home as she stated "it's really far" when her business is located in round rock and I live in round rock so I have no idea what her deal is. I truly cannot emphasize it enough, there's plenty of other cat groomers who will appreciate your business. You'll thank me later. read more

A very good experience overall and they take great care with the dogs. A good grooming and exactly what I asked for. However they do say they'll send a message when they are on their way to confirm. They did not do this so I was in the process of arranging another groomer when they arrived. Perhaps they need to apply the same amount of detail to scheduling as they do to grooming. read more

I appreciated how soon that I could get appointment. However, I wasn't so pleased with my dogs haircuts. I assume this is a new business and will improve with time and experience. I asked for specifically what we wanted (ridiculously silly lion cuts) with the warning that both cats are blind so they need a good deal of physical and audible reassurance. It's always a huge concern with special need seniors that they get the gentle, custom care they require. They came back inside calm and the cuts clean, well shaped and less than we expected to pay. She was quick and friendly. Thank you guys for continuing the high level of care we had come to expect and providing Catbus and Mushu with their ridiculous (my request!) lion cuts. The process would take 3 hours and I'd split it into multiple days because neither him nor I could do a full 3 hour session at once. I said all that to say that I wish I would've gone to Betty sooner! I got my dog Beast in 2022 and for some reason it was really hard to find a groomer--no one was taking on new clients. I scheduled my appointment online with Wholesome Doodle, answered a few questions and uploaded a few pics of what I wanted Beast's cut to look like. I was able to get aN appointment fairly quickly. Upon meeting Betty, she felt around for mats and helped me come up with a mat that would be best for Beast. Unfortunately, we had to shave him down pretty low during his first grooming appointment, but that was no one's fault but my own. Things got In the way and I didn't brush him as regularly as I should've and many mats formed. Following the appointment she provided us with a folder with care and maintenance tips for his coat. Betty is highly experienced and will explain everything going into the appointment. She does great with Beast and I recommend her to everyone!

I missed him from day two (let's be honest day one was relaxing). I had such peace of mind knowing A Crate Escape is owned and operated by a veterinarian and her family. My favorite thing was at the end of each day I would get a doggie report card. These report cards are AMAZING! They put me at ease knowing Holligan was having the time of his life and being well taken care of. I never knew his tongue could stick out so far. I would receive pictures of him running and playing daily. They would tell me who his doggie playmates were and I'd also get updates and videos on how Hooligan's training was progressing. I was getting ready to give up on Hooligan but after two weeks with Desi he's a brand new dog. I will continue to follow up with doggie day care and a few group training sessions but A Crate Escape has made my life so much easier and I'm so happy Hooligan gets to rejoin me and my other dogs at home.

The tech who gently removed his body wrapped in blankets was so kind and it meant a lot when he said that he could tell we were good dog parents. This was my first time to use Masago Mobile Pet Grooming. They were very responsive, professional and did an excellent job on my Golden Doodle who is 6mo old and was her first trim. They communicated very well with their schedule and arrived on time. They were also able to fit my mom's mini Australian shepherd into their schedule while onsite.
