The service totally sucks here. I've come for lunch and for dinner and received the same level of mediocre service. At lunch, my friend and I came here and waited to be seated though no one was there. After we ordered, the server sat down to eat his own meal and ignored us until he had to bring us food. Then when we needed anything, we had to wave him down. Dinner service was basically the same. We stood for a bit while we could see staff talking to one another in the kitchen. Then someone with their back to us eating at a table stood up and realized we were standing there. He then greeted us. We do enjoy their food though. And I love that their menu indicates what is gluten free. The Dosas are delicious as are the Papadum and Pakora. Their Chicken Tikka Masala and Tandoori are both good.

Everything was great and portions were huge. The service was fast and the atmosphere was super cute in the window seats. I highly recommend the onion salad, you can put it in anything. The goat cheese nan is some of the best I have had and I've never had better fish masala. The dosa was great too especially with the onion salad on top.

Went in with some friends today to try their food, especially their Dosa, because our other friend recommended it. I highly recommend this place for the food because the Dosa (that we all ended up ordering) was delicious and came as a really big portion, but the service was strange. I ended up getting a chicken masala dosa which came with two types of sauces (both very delicious) and lentil-based soup (this was also very delicious). The next part I wanted to talk about though was the service. I do not have a high spice tolerance and ordered mild spice, but the server kept asking if I wanted to change it to spicy, to which I said "No, thank you because my spice tolerance really isn't that high". The rest of the meal was quite awkward because the server would throw slight shade and disgusted facial expressions toward me. Not sure if the server was having a particularly bad day, but it would have been more enjoyable and comfortable if there didn't seem to be that tension! Food was still delicious!

I have been going to this place for years and it is one of my favorites. The ambiance is elegant and intimate. The food is exquisite. We ordered the goat cheese naan, fish masala, mushroom masala dosa, and the onion salad. This was a great order for us this round, as it was a nice variety of flavors and textures. You could eat every dish together and it was fantastic. We added the onion salad to each dish, and it added another layer of complexity of flavor. I highly recommend trying this. The mushroom masala dosa is a more dry dish that you add the accompanying dips with, and we added the sauce from our fish as well. The combination was excellent. The fish masala was to die for, and was my favorite. It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was absolutely amazing--highly recommend this dish. It paired very nicely with the goat cheese naan (def get this naan if you are a goat cheese fan). Overall it was a great dinner, and the variety of dishes we ordered flexed our palette. Can't wait to go back once more.

Chicken Tikka Masala, Fish Vindaloo (Hot), Garlic Nan

We got take out from Masala Dosa as part of our quest to explore the Indian cuisine of the city (of which, joyously, there is a wonderful selection). We ended up very happy. The garlic naan had a nice crisp and good char, the latter of which filled the house with its smoky aroma as soon as we opened the package. Our only complaint that it could have been more garlicky. The sauces on both of our primary entrees were much more substantial than similar dishes at other restaurants. They were full of meat and the sauce itself had more body - it was more like gravy that sauce. My gf got the chicken tikka masala. The chicken was flavorful with an excellent texture, which was clearly the result of not only high-quality meat, but also its having been grilled on a spit rather than sauteed in the sauce. The sauce was delicious, with notes of black pepper and butter. This was my gf's favorite chicken tikka masala in the city so far. I ordered the fish vindaloo, extra spicy. The dish had a bold and inviting brick color, and had a smokey but sweet flavor. The potatoes were perfectly done and the fish melted in my mouth. Usually when I order something spicy, I get the equivalent of a couple of dabs of Tabasco sauce. But the fish vindaloo had legit heat, which I so appreciate! It was so spicy that my nose began to run and I poured myself a glass of milk to go with it. I can't wait to order the same thing and have it with some Riesling and/or champagne (which I didn't do this time because I had some athletic endeavors planned for the morning). I have been to this establishment one time before, in the pre-pandemic (and my pre-Yelping) days and had the dosa that is this restaurant's namesake. It also is very tasty. And I love intimate yet spacious interior (especially the little nook by the window. All-in-all, I recommend this place very much, not only for takeout, but for dining in, too (whenever that becomes a thing again).

This tea is probably still sizzling hot it was so dang hot we could barely drink it. 2. bulgogi - it's chopped up so a bit different than how I've eaten it before. I wish it was a bit more whole. Feels like you're eating ground beef (texture wise). 3. Chicken wings- good. Crispy and hot. We got the sauce on the side and we preferred without sauce. 4. Soft tofu soup- so good!!!!! Service was definitely fast and the food too. Not crazy about plastic water containers but definitely is convenient for the table but I prefer some nice ice cold water. I would definitely come back for a mellow bite to eat or even dressing up for a cute date.

I have unlocked a new favorite cuisine…read more We ordered the Platha & Dip, the Tea Leaf Salad, the Burmese Style Curry with Beef, the Garlic Noodles with Chicken, and the coconut Rice. Wow!!!! I would highly highly recommend everything we ordered, besides the Garlic Noodles which were just alright. The Platha & Dip! Amazing appetizer oh god. We ate it immediately and had to order two more for the table. The platha is so well made and the dip is so delicious. Must get!! Salads are usually so unremarkable, but I'm still thinking about the Tea Leaf Salad even a week later. I never remember a salad I've eaten but this is such a great salad. Must get!! The Burmese curry was so so flavorful! So rich, its a flavor bomb in your mouth. Must Get!! The garlic noodles were just okay. Don't get me wrong, they were pretty good, but just fell short in comparison to all the other amazing dishes we had! I wish we ordered something else instead because their other dishes seemed much more unique and distinct. I'm usually not a fan of rice but their coconut rice was great! Also very flavorful and great texture. We were a party of six so we got a reservation beforehand. Service was great, everything was great. I'm definitely coming again and telling everyone I know to eat here.

The service here is exponentially better, the staff is super friendly, incredibly attentive, and they make everyone feel very welcomed. The food on the other hand just is not great. Yes this place is always packed apparently, and it may be out of convenience. I found that everything that we ordered with the exception of the coconut rice fell flat. This is one of those moments that hurt your heart because I want to give them huge accolades, but it's just not there. We ordered the platha. It was tasty, but it also did not taste super fresh. The dipping sauce that it comes with (opted for chicken) and kept digging around the small bowl to find pieces of chicken that were nonexistent. The up charge of a dollar for the chicken dipping sauce that did not have chicken in it super disappointing. The sauce was tasty, but definitely not worth the up charge. Our server encouraged us to get the tea salad, which is definitely something. Someone should try if you've never had it before. The mixture of fresh veggies, the light sauce and the herbs, make for a very fresh bite. I would've been thrilled if late shredded chicken could be added to this for a different style dish. It would be super tasty. The salad was good, but not my style, but everyone else enjoyed it. We ordered the beef curry and the coconut rice. I absolutely want to emphasize how incredible the staff is. Their service and attentiveness absolutely should be acknowledged over and over again. The coconut rice at this location is exponentially better than at the other restaurant that we tried. This was a combination of light, fluffy, and absolutely flavorful delicious rice. The beef curry was incredibly disappointing. The beef was well done not done well. It was tough, overly chewy, and the flavor profile was just not good. It was missing something and even the light curry broth that the meat was sitting in well, good wasn't fantastic. The drinks seem pricier here, and the mango lassie, while good, was just OK. It tasted more like watered down mango. For dessert, we tried the black rice. This is definitely worth trying. It's a heavier dessert and probably a bit much after what felt like an uncomfortable dinner. The coconut sauce that it's sitting in is delicious and I can see why so many people enjoy it, and maybe if the strawberries were tastier the combination of all of the flavors may have made a difference. I definitely think it's something worth trying, but maybe elsewhere, or with different items for dinner.

We've tried Halal Wings Plus a few times before throughout the years and it was always a pretty solid choice. The menu is above the cashier, so you just order and pay up front and get the receipt with your order number. They'll call the number out when it's ready. I think there's roughly 8-10 tables, if you decide to dine in. ***OUR PICKS*** We ordered 20 wings with 2 flavors. LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN WINGS ~ lots of pepper flavor but the lemon did not shine. And the chicken meat inside didn't seem marinated and tasted bland. It probably would be better if they added lemon juice after it was cooked or had given us some lemons to squeeze over the chicken before we dug in. 3.5/5 MANGO HABANERO CHICKEN WINGS ~ the sauce was spicy and tangy sweet, but it doesn't seem like they marinate their wings. It's only the sauce that gives the chicken flavor. 3.5/5 The wings aren't at all crispy. And flavor was ok and could have been better. But what was off-putting was the smell of the wings after we boxed it up and took it home! It had this gamey chicken smell as if it was old chicken. At least none of us got sick, but I'll think twice about revisiting.
