Some of my favorite treasures are the bun bò Huế noodles, the purple sweet potatoes, crisp Asian pears, fresh pandan, and the endless array of fun drinks that always convince me to try something new. And then there are the little surprises that make this place unforgettable: an incredible pho restaurant tucked inside, a jewelry shop sparkling quietly nearby, and families from every background filling their carts with pieces of home. The sinks are stained and dirty. The smell is bad and overwhelming. They need to clean it and wipe it down and fix the sit down stall latch. I did find myself needing to cough a little as the spices are pungent and can irritate your air passages. The owner was so friendly offering advice about storage methods. She recommended mason jars. I always store my spices in glass jars as it's the best for spices. The prices were quite good and I really enjoyed being able to find several spices at such good prices.
