About a week ago i ordered from this location and they failed to bag my gyro with garlic fries. I did not receive these items. I immediately called the restaurant and they confirmed the items were left behind. I told her i am unable to go and pick up so she ensure me she will notate under my phone number so that next time i order i can call them and they will included to my order next time. Not only once but twice. What am I? Invisible??! This needs to be corrected...if a customer is standing there, right in front of you, you need to acknowledge them...first. Then you can acknowledge the phone calls. Put them on hold and take care of the customer in line first. Just sharing a piece of my mind...now that's off my chest, I can eat. Update.... I always get the Mashawi salad. In my opinion it is so much better than the Maison salad at Chicken Maison. We had catering for my sister's graduation, for about 50 people. Pauline helped us all the way through the process. She made the process easy. The food was ready at the time of pick up, warm and ready to eat. Our guest loooooved the food. They all had seconds and they all asked, where we got the food. It comes with a scoop of Rice, a single Pita, and 2 sides. I said ok. For meat, I went with 2 Skewers for $13.99. One was Lamb Kebob and the other Shish Kebab (Sirloin Beef). Both are marinated, but the small portions were a little dry and light on flavor. For sides, I tried Hummus to go with the Pita Bread and a healthy Garden Salad. Nothing was magical. Nothing was terrible. It was ok. I went back to my car in the free parking lot being semi-full after satisfying the daily requirement that I eat dinner. I wished that they had pictures of the food with description. I had ordered the Beef Kefta lunch plate with rice pilaf, hummus and the garden salad. Knowing that the kebob is cooked to order, I do not mind the short wait. Once my order arrived, I was pleased to the plate presentation as it looked tasty. I mean how hard is it to make a salad right? Overshadowed by the In-N-Out next door, Mashawi Grill is one of the hidde- well maybe not hidden, but definitely less NOTICED gems off the Inglewood Blvd/405 exit. In fact, even while offering a different genre of food, I would say Mashawi Grill can still go toe-to-toe with In-N-Out in price to taste to quantity ratios. While definitely more expensive (around 1.5 to twice as much) than their burger neighbor to the south, the food quantity left me twice as full. Furthermore, while I'm not sure exactly how much healthier this food is for me than In-N-Out (especially when the quantities more than satiate my appetite), it's umami impact cannot be denied. I would say my palate would have been no more satisfied had I ordered a double double and fries. As far as orders go, when I personally was introduced to them, I was told to get their lunch Mashawi Salad with Schwarma Chicken substitute and extra garlic paste. And since then, I've not felt the need to try anything else. Price, taste, and amount are so on point, that I get buyers remorse even thinking about ordering something else. The chicken is flavorful and succulent, with very modest seasonings, as to not distract from the rest of the salad. The dressing is very flavorful, but is not over drenching the rest of the ingredients.
