I paid a significant amount of money to have my yard cleaned and a sprinkler valve replaced. Neither job was completed. My yard was left full of small weeds and the broken valve. I was told that someone would be back a week later to remove the weeds and that never happened, with absolutely no follow-up communication. For over a MONTH I messaged about once a week to find out what was going on. Each time I was fed a line about waiting for a valve part, or told someone would be out in a few days. Each time no one showed, and no one followed up with a reason/excuse. Then I got a letter from my HoA for the weeds and my patience was done. I gave them an ultimatum: either come back and have the weeds (which were now a lot worse) finished at the very LEAST by the following Monday/Tuesday (5 weeks after they were first out), or don't bother coming back at all. That deadline came and went and this time they didn't even bother to respond. I was completely ghosted. The only reason I put up with this treatment from a business is because I paid them up-front: they did a great job on my yard last year and seemed trustworthy. But this time they took my money and never looked back. I eventually had to hire another company last-minute to finish up the work before the HoA came down on me with fines. They seem to have a lot of good reviews so I'm not sure what happened in my case, but I was lied to and scammed. Their behavior towards me (once paid) was unprofessional and unethical, and utterly incomprehensible given I was a repeat customer (no more of course). So instead of any future business from me, they earned this review instead. UPDATE: Mason's reached out to me promptly after I posted this review, but not to offer an apology or explanation; just to let me know the review was INCORRECT since what I paid them didn't include the valve replacement. Not that I have any way to verify since I never received an invoice or any other form of paperwork. But it's good to know they're capable of responding quickly when they really want to, and that they were blowing me off intentionally. Also, thanks for letting me know that I actually paid MORE than I thought for unfinished yardwork, and this is how you treat a customer you're expecting to pay you for further work. read more

We subscribe to the weekly service. They were doing a great job for the most part. There is one area they always forgot. The last two months, garbage. They missed a couple of weeks with no notification, then only did my front yard space. Three weeks later, finally did my back yard space. (We auto pay for both) It has been another 3 weeks and they again have only been doing my front yard. I asked them to trim up the bushes as they are seriously overgrown hanging by the gate door. They told me they couldn't do it now but they would- that was 3 weeks ago. Please look at their "work" below. They would have been fired by now but my husband keeps giving them chance after chance. Well now I am looking elsewhere. I never write reviews and I was very understanding at first because of Covid, but this has gotten ridiculous. Update- Masons has reached out on this review, apologizing- with a BUT! "Your gate was sometimes locked". I have been home EVERYDAY! There was NO excuse for them to not show up or do the work paid for when they were here. My photos say it all. Within minutes on the phone I was able to schedule landscaping to be done and they followed directions very well. Mason's completely took advantage of my 85-year-old mother. Charged Her $250 for minor cleanup. No weeds pulled, trimmed some bushes but left all of the clippings on the ground and on the bushes. They were requested to turn off certain parts of the irrigation system but left it on. Avoid these folks especially if you are a senior. read more

They were professional, helpful and it became apparent they knew what they were talking about. We have them now taking care of our personal property. No one called. No note on the door. Nothing. NOTHING. I gave them ample consideration with a 3-hour window. If they think their time is valuable yet forsake the customer, I want no part of them. John and another gentleman (I apologize that I don't remember his name) came out and provided outstanding service by figuring out what was wrong and repairing it. They made me feel as a valued customer because they didn't make me feel that they were in a rush to get on to their next job by taking the time needed in repairing what needed to be done, and they were very pleasant explaining to me what they were doing in a kind manner. They also installed a new watering clock and were very patient with me and walked me through the process of setting it up and answering all my questions. Not the service promised. I was told there would be a irrigation specialists that would check my sprinklers. I was told that the weeds would be handled and that the bushes would be trimmed. There was talk of fertilizing and not edging for a while to bring back some of the areas that I was unsatisfied with. What I received was no different than the teenager down the street doing a quick once over, when he showed up. When I voiced my concerns that no one showed, I was argued with. I requested that my days/times for watering be changed and none of that was done. I am stuck with broken sprinklers, sprinklers that aren't working and a lawn that is dying worse than it already was.
