So I just got out of my massage. I purchased the Groupon for the 70 min massage and 30 minute scalp massage. It started off nice with the full body massage until I had the horrible experience of the scalp massage. I was really looking forward to this as I've had them in the salon before. This is where everything went wrong. The lady was massaging water and shampoo into my ears. Word of advice, You do NOT need to clean the inside of someone's ears with shampoo and water in fact you should probably offer ear plugs to prevent water flowing into the ear but to do this on purpose?!?!? The massage chair was uncomfortable and actually hurt my back, I tried to ask for it to be turned down but it actually felt like it got worse so I sat with my legs up to take the pressure off my back and adjust to where I could not feel pain. I finally had her turn off the massage chair all together. I will likely end up with an ear infection now as i still feel water lodged in my ears. I still tipped them $20 so I wouldn't be harassed on the way out without tipping and honestly, the full body massage was fine but I will not be back after the scalp scratching (not really much massage) even if I had a free offer, I wouldn't go because it left me feeling stressed. They suggested on my way out that I hop on one leg while i try to get the water out of my ears?!? Really??? My health and relaxation is worth more and I will give my money to others that are professional and know what they are doing. read more

They are very accommodating to my hectic schedule and will go out of their way to schedule needed appointments. Tried the 60 min scalp and body massage, so 30 min body massage and 30 min scalp treatment. Body massage was fine. Was looking more forward to the scalp treatment but the scalp treatment didn't really feel like a treatment. It felt like I was at a hair salon and they are just washing my hair. They had water running on your neck while they are "massaging" the head. When they switched the water to my head, they didn't stop the water and it went over my face and got water up my nose. My friend did the same treatment as me and her lady made her dry her own hair. I timed the "30 min" scalp and it was only 15 min. After paying and tip, they had the nerve to ask for more tip. Amy and Kelly to be exact. 2. 10$ mandatory tip is ridiculous. I agree with the other commenter, might as well advertise $50/hr massage 3. Place is not relaxing in terms of people (customer and staff alike) talking loudly 4. Might as well lose the door to massage rooms, if staff will just barge in without knocking while massage is ongoing and leave the door cracked open. Employees are friendly and generally pretty good. However, there have been several times that when my husband and I go, the massage therapist leaves the room more than once in the middle of our massages (not including the times that they leave to get towels to wipe you down.) Other than that, it's decently clean, easy to get an appointment and prices are reasonable. I'd prefer going to Convoy but with 2 kids, it's difficult to make the drive. This is an okay option since we live in south San Diego now. read more

I am really upset, the past days have been hard and today I decided to pamper myself and give myself a massage myself and my husband, there was a 75 minute promotion for $ 75 (full massage, 15 minute foot massage and hot stones). Everything was fine until they offered the hot stones for an extra cost ($ 20 for both of us) to which we told them that their ad said free hot stones, they only took out the macaws that they had inside, they did not stop talking, my phone began to ring an alarm and they wouldn't let me turn it off. Now the stress is at 1000% at the time of checkout we discussed what happened and they only said sorry. This was not fair we ended up paying for a lousy service and I came out more stressed as I entered. Don't go there believe me. Can somebody recommended one? read more

I decided to give this place a try since it is close to home. I had the best massage with Nancy. My body felt so achy before coming here and I left feeling so much better and lighter. She really knew where to massage out the tightness. The only thing is that it got really warm towards the end because they do not have AC., and it was a hot day! Today I had a massage a girl named Coco doesn't speak English. It was the horrible massage in my life. I felt like all she did rolling an egg roll or something. It was not gentle at all and she was rushing. The irritating part was when it's time massage my head, she used her finger nail to scratch my sculp and it so unpleasant feeling I had to stopped her. And she massage my tummy by just pushing down,I never had a massage before and also my tummy pushing it down to bed painful. Overall, well worth the price and the drive. Lucy is a wonderful massage therapist. There are some glitches that I didn't know about before I went in. The phone person who set up my appointment was brisk but spoke OK English. When I arrived I was surprised to find that the receptionist spoke no English at all (everyone there is Chinese), but she did have a translater on her phone. She seemed confused about why I was there. I worried that they had not entered my appointment, as she (her phone) asked me twice. However, Lucy came for me and gave me a spectacular massage, from feet to neck with lots of warm oil. A hot wet cloth thoroughly washed off the oil when she finished. (There was a very firm "NO SEX, NO WAY, DON'T ASK" sign on the wall; I cringed to think how often they need to reference that sign.) Lucy is strong and skillful. She also speaks almost no English. When it was time to move into the scalp massage room, she took hold of me and guided me around. The scalp massage was exquisite, with hot water running over my neck and a shiatsu chair under me. I was wishing she paid a bit more attention to my scalp, as opposed to my hair, but she knows her business. She was very patient, and I gave her a generous tip. The facility was clean and orderly.The only thing missing was the communication, but I still recommend Massage Eden highly. read more

The reason why I'm giving it 2 stars is because I went with my sister and she actually enjoyed it. She got a 30 minute massage full body. And I got a foot massage for 30 minutes. My guy the foot massages didn't start right away I don't know what the hell he was doing but he got out of the room for like 5 minutes but it felt like 10 minutes actually. He actually got out of the room 2 to 3 times. I paid for the full price and I gave him the effing $10 tip to both of them however I will never come back here I feel ripped off. Horrible experience. My masseuse was late. She had me waiting on the bed for about 5 minutes before she came in. The massage was just not good. She kept using her elbows and it was so uncomfortable. Then the rest of the massage just felt like she was just rubbing oil on my body over and over. She was not massaging me she was just rubbing my body. On top of that she had very long nails that kept scratching me. I had to stop the massage 30 minutes in and I just left. Still paid for the service but left very unhappy. I've never left a poor review. First and last time here. ----Wrote this 3 hours post massage --- I regularly got massages prior to Covid. This morning I went in to Massage Eden at the shopping center across from BVHS for a full body Swedish massage. I was disappointed with the lack of privacy - the sheer curtains to the hallway let everyone walking by see me while barely covered with a sheet. The room wasn't as clean as I had hoped. It smelled dusty, almost moldy. When I took my shoes off I could feel the floor was dirty. No one wore a mask. Giving them the benefit of the doubt - I stayed and got the massage. The 2 stars are because the actual massage was pleasant and much needed. However, immediately after I left I felt my face become a little itchy and swollen. I thought the oil she used and my face sunscreen wasn't vibing so I took a shower less than an hour after the massage only to feel other areas around my ankles and neck also becoming itchy and swollen. I tried calling. I spoke to someone. She advised I take pictures and see a doctor. Fine. But she proceeded to explain it's not an allergic reaction to anything they did because it would be completely all over my body and their oils do not cause that reaction. I've never had this reaction to massage oil. She may be right about the oil but the reaction is definitely from the massage. I called to tell them something may have been dirty, maybe it was the hot towels? Or her hands? Maybe they should consider deep cleaning? She didn't want to hear it. I will not be back. I will visit my Doctor. I do not recommend risking your health by going here. read more

Asked for a Swedish massage and received a Thai with pressure points. I asked him not to be so hard on my body but he did not understand. I asked him if he knew this was a Swedish massage scheduled and he smile. No English. I continued the massage and several times throughout the massage asking to go gently. I did not need a rub down I wanted a relaxing massage.After the hour beating, I went to checkout and handed my gift certificate and the person behind the desk stated it was expired. As far as I know gift certificates are valid as long as the business is still in business. After arguing back in forth I finally asked what was my bill so i could pay and leave. I told him this was poor customer service and I will never come back or refer anyone else. WORST PLACE EVER! Lady starts off with pulling my underwear down and I kindly asked her not to because of PERSONAL reasons.
