Gregory, our onsite lead, was responsive, well organized, and his four-person crew worked very hard. My advice to anyone moving is to be realistic about how much stuff you have. I got three quotes. One company estimated one-and-a-half 27-foot trucks, while Royal and another company estimated one 27-foot truck. My move-out apartment was 895 sq ft with a large patio. Before moving day, I made two 10-foot Home Depot truck trips myself with the delicate and bulky items: my electric bike, Peloton, and other things that don't stack well. Royal filled a 27-foot truck with everything else, efficiently using all the available space. We did go a little over the estimate because of rush-hour traffic. The only part I didn't enjoy was the payment app prompting for a tip at checkout. After a long moving day, that was one unnecessary stress point because I never know what's considered an appropriate tip for professional movers. Fortunately, I had already planned ahead with cash tips and cold Gatorades for the crew throughout the day. I highly recommend Royal Movers. They made a difficult move much easier. I also gained a whole new respect for my son, his friend, and my old girlfriend, who helped me move the last time. I had the best moving experience with master movers. I spoke with Art over the phone and scheduled a month in advance. He went over pricing with me and we set the date. On moving day, Art was very thorough with the process. I've never seen anyone care for other peoples items like Art and his helper did. They wrapped all my furniture and were very cautious moving them to and from the truck. He made the process of moving so easy for me and my family. I had booked the move two weeks in advance and confirmed everything with Jake K., including start time, wardrobe boxes, and specific details like leaving clothes in my dresser. The morning of the move, the crew was over FIVE HOURS LATE -- I had to follow up twice just to get updates. At first, I was told they'd be there at 11 a.m., then 12:30-1 p.m., and they finally arrived at 2:45 p.m. I was later told this was because there were no trucks available, which makes me question how a moving company accepts a confirmed job without basic resources. The two movers who arrived were very young, clearly inexperienced, and completely unprofessional. There was a major language barrier, they didn't understand or follow basic requests, and I had to repeatedly remind them about things that were already in my original request -- like unmounting TVs and bringing in wardrobe boxes. When they did bring the boxes, they came without the hanging bars, and I was told the warehouse "ran out of materials." So I had to individually rehang all my clothes *while paying by the hour.* The movers also: * Took an hour-long break to go eat (after saying it would be 15-20 minutes) * Used my personal chargers -- one even dug into a packed box to find one * Taped boxes sloppily and stacked fragile items poorly * Asked inappropriate questions about personal belongings * Left scuff marks on my walls and floors * Tried to charge extra for my dresser, even though I had cleared that with Jake ahead of time * Seemed surprised/frustrated that my new place had stairs -- even though it was in my original move request To top it off, they didn't provide a breakdown of charges or have me sign anything before or after the move, which they had done on my previous moves. They initially tried to charge me $881 for 6+ hours of inefficient, unprofessional service, even though I had scheduled a 9 a.m. move to avoid traffic and parking issues -- which we ended up dealing with anyway, at 7 p.m. on a Friday. I had to argue for a discount and was told I was getting $131 off, but even that felt like a slap in the face. Someone from operations that I eventually got on the phone told me I had picked a "busy time of the month and week" -- as if they hadn't accepted my booking and confirmed it weeks prior. This experience was frustrating, exhausting, and totally unprofessional. I've used Orda before with better results, but this time was unacceptable. Poor communication, poor planning, and completely underqualified movers. I won't be using them again -- and I'd caution anyone else considering them to think twice.

BEWARE: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…read more I do not recommend Happy Home Moving. The company itself is suspect. To be clear, my complaint concerns the company itself--not the individual movers. The workers worked hard throughout the move, and I appreciated their physical effort. I provided them with water, Gatorade, and protein bars to help sustain them while they worked. Five hours into my move, while the work was still underway and they estimated that approximately three more hours remained, the company attempted to collect payment for nine hours before those hours had been worked. They also requested that I send them a photograph of my identification, even though the seven-page contract I signed contains no requirement that I provide or permit them to retain a copy of my ID. They received a redacted version of my ID. They have no right to my driver's license number or my date of birth. This is how identity theft occurs. When I questioned the advance charge, they claimed the contract authorized it. The contract does state that deliveries are C.O.D., but it also states that transportation charges are "due and payable upon completion of such transportation." More importantly, the document provided to me contains no hourly rate, no nine-hour minimum, no estimated total, and no not-to-exceed price. Its declared inventory inexplicably lists "0 Items, 0 lb," despite this being an actual household move. Customers should not be pressured during an active move, when the company already has possession of their belongings, to authorize payment for hours that have not yet been worked. Pricing, minimum-hour requirements, payment timing, identification requirements, and the not-to-exceed amount should be disclosed clearly and in writing before the move begins--not raised after the movers have control of the customer's property. Read every document carefully, insist on a complete written estimate and itemized charges, document all start and completion times, and do not provide a photograph of your ID without a clear written explanation of why it is required and how it will be protected. BEWARE and BE SAFE.

Moving can be stressful, but Beezee Movers made the entire process smooth and effortless. From my first call to the final box being placed in my new home, everything was handled with professionalism, efficiency, and great care. A huge shoutout to Jhon, who arrived on time, packed my belongings with precision, and made sure everything was loaded quickly and securely. The team even helped me disassemble and reassemble my furniture without a scratch! Despite navigating narrow hallways and stairs, they worked non-stop and with a great attitude. What impressed me the most was their speed and organization--what I expected to take half a day was done in just a few hours. Plus, their pricing was very reasonable, with no hidden fees--just honest and high-quality service. If you need a fast, reliable, and stress-free move in LA, I highly recommend Beezee Mover! These guys know what they're doing, and I'll definitely be using them again in the future. Five stars all the way!

I do not recommend this company at all!!!…read more I just requested a quote today for my move and they seemed nice at first. However, after asking all my questions about my move and how long it would take, they became antagonistic. I am a single lady with not a lot of stuff to move. Everything was going to be packed already so the movers would just transport everything. I estimated no more than an hour to load, an hour to unload, and an hour to drive to my new place. The person said "let's do the math together" and said it would take 7-8 hours! I replied saying I find that hard to believe since my friends and I could move me in an hour at each place and we're not professionals. After I said that, I was told they wouldn't hook up my appliances, after they said they would. Or they would hook them up but would charge me extra. I don't trust these people. I just tried to get a quote and they were extremely rude as well as coming up with additional fees out of the blue. I do NOT recommend. EDIT: the guys response below is an example of how he will treat you. Very condescending. While he feels it is impossible to do that move, my friend and I were able to do the move in four hours and we are not professionals. There's some info for you. Apparently it takes professionals double the time with double the people.

They're good but not great. Price was on the lower side when you pay w cash ($75 for 2 guys and a…read moretruck). Guys were friendly but they didn't move as fast to my liking. Previously when I moved, I had movers who can shrink wrap everything by themselves- one person with a some kind of tool. These guys took the shrink wrap and literally walked around with the furniture, so it took some time. I had to move some of the lighter boxes with my roommate downstairs to speed up the process. Another perk of hiring movers is because they can take apart your bed and put it together. Except the one guy who took bed apart took soooo long to do so. Again, manually doing it with a screwdriver instead of using power tools. I know that sometimes it's better not to use power tools so you don't damage the furniture but uhhh that's if you're inexperienced. Okay, not my biggest complaint. Here's the part that is the most bothersome. My bed is new and quite expensive. When they were wrapping up my bed, they left one piece (the footboard) behind. My guess is because it was the smallest piece but that doesn't mean you don't cover it up. They threw it in on top of a box and I brought it to their attention. The guys told me that it would be fine & they would throw a blanket on top of it. Well, now I have all these scruffs all along the side of my footboard. Yes, it may seem minor but it could of been avoided if they just shrink wrapped my footboard when I asked them to. Then I notice a missing screw between my bed & the attached side/night stand. Never brought it to my attention. Perhaps they thought I wouldn't realize it??? It's a pretty crucial piece actually as it holds the bottom shelf from sloping downwards. Now I have to support it with some books for the time being. If you do decide to move with them, make sure they wrap everything & check minor details.

Stole my Yamaha keyboard. It depends on your team of movers…read morethat day. I used them two years ago, they were great and fast. Called them again, yes, fast, but one guy kept asking if I really needed the keyboard / piano and some of my other items.... After giving them a big tip, and a bottle of vodka, and being rushed and not really allowed on the truck to look through the empty boxes... I find that my keyboard never made it to my new home. Calls went unreturned, and the fact is, a VIA mover stole from us.
