They arrived on time within the estimated timeframe and were prompt, prepared, and ready to work. I was moving out of state from California to Nevada and originally hired two movers. Unfortunately, the second mover had an emergency and had to leave early. Sergei, the driver and mover, stepped up and handled the rest of the move completely on his own. Sergei was a true professional. Despite the challenges of the apartment complex, including navigating long hallways, elevators, and a large amount of furniture, he completed the pickup in about 2.5 hours entirely by himself. He then delivered everything the following morning and completed the delivery in approximately 1.75 hours--again, all on his own. I honestly couldn't believe how efficiently he worked. He had the strength, energy, and determination of two people! This was especially impressive considering we were moving during extremely hot weather, with temperatures in the upper 80s to 100 degrees in both locations. Sergei remained professional, hardworking, and focused throughout the entire process. I truly couldn't have completed the move without him. I also really appreciate how easy and transparent Next Moving makes the quoting process. Being able to get a quote online with clear pricing made it much easier to budget and took a lot of the stress out of planning an out-of-state move. Prodigy came out on top by a longshot: they were not the cheapest of the three (they were in the middle) but the discussions I had with Iliya (who I believe is one of the persons in charge and did my estimate) showed him to be, of the three, the person that was best informed, most pleasant, and most knowledgeable. Of the three virtual tours of the apartment for bids that I made, he was the quickest to make a judgment about exactly what the apartment contained and what kind of resources it would need to wrap and load everything. He sent me a bid very quickly, and gave me a fixed price. He answered all my questions (of which I always have many), and if he didn't pick up when I called him, he always returned my call almost immediately. He did something that the other two firms never mentioned: he cautioned me that I needed to get a Permit from the city of West Hollywood to block off space for their 40 foot truck. The other two businesses never mentioned this crucial bit of information. Had I not known to do this it would've been a disaster. The space needed to be reserved because the apartment is on a very busy weho street and the truck could not have possibly double parked. The three men that he sent to do the packing and loading were pleasant and highly efficient--watching them wrap things up was like watching a ballet. Although his bid wasn't the lowest, how easy and well organized the process was and how secure it made me feel was worth every penny. Additionally, his charges for storage were the lowest of the three, and the first month is free. Everything went without a hitch. I can recommend prodigy without any hesitation and if anyone I know asks me for suggestions for a moving and storage company, Prodigy would be first on the list!

I just wish the scheduling person was as communicative as Jose. The scheduling experience was not great - the person on the phone kept mishearing me. I clearly told them my house has 2 bedrooms and a bonus room, but in reality they only planned for moving 1 bedroom, resulting in understaffing, which made me ended up paying more because of the long hours and overtime. The scheduling person didn't even get my name right...the scheduling experience was pretty bad. But the actual moving experience was good. I guess next time I will just have to be extra cautious with the scheduling office.

I Was informed that the moving truck had broken down and so they were having a mechanic work on it so they should be there within an hour that did not happen. The movers did not arrive until 1215 and the mover. Joel told me that he didn't know anything about a truck being broken. He just knew someone called off and they called him in to work last minute on his off day. He wasn't even supposed to be working then after only an hour of work Joel and his partner tell me that they have to take a lunch break. Needless to say I was shocked. I also explained to Joel that I needed him to move certain furniture that I was not keeping to a certain area on my street for trash pick up. He fought me on that and almost drove off without moving the furniture to the right spot because he was so ready to go have lunch even though I was kind enough to offer them drinks and snacks. I have never heard of a moving company scheduling a lunch break right in the middle of a move that they were two hours late too. It just doesn't make sense that never happened prior to Covid when I scheduled my moves with this company. Then I had to get on the phone with Jonathan and he was very nasty and kept telling me that I need to speak clearer and calm down or he will hang up on me. Speaking to him was the only way I could get the movers to shift the furniture on the street to the right location. I am also definitely missing some things even though they let me check the truck afterwards, but who knows what happened when they went to lunch with all my things in their truck. After all this trouble, Edgar was only able to give me $100 discount which I am thankful for but with the service I received that day. It should've been free 99. Very sad to see this company follow the trend post Covid of not given a damn about its loyal longtime clients! They cost me money that day also as I had to call off work due to their huge timing delays!!! They showed me no remorse for that either! So just an hour after posting this Edgar called me and heard me out and was kind and generous enough to refund me 300$ and give me 200$ off for my future move!
