The vibes were interesting. They play upbeat music while making the matcha right in front of you. There's a couple tables in the back plus window seating, but honestly not enough seats for how packed it gets. The sea salt foam matcha was PERFECT (9.7/10). Super creamy, earthy, and balanced. You can actually taste the matcha without it being too bitter, and once mixed together the sweetness level was spot on. Easily one of my favorite matchas in Chicago so far. The strawberry matcha latte (7.5/10) had good flavor but leaned too sweet for me, and after mixing the matcha flavor became really light. There's no real service since you order at the kiosk, but the owner was really nice when handing us the drinks.

Before coming here, I would recommend you check their instagram to make sure they didn't run out of matcha. They ran out after we received our drinks and would've been devastated if we were turned down after waiting 45 minutes. Their matcha is amazing. They add 4.5g of matcha per serving. I was not a fan of the strawberry matcha but LOVE the sea salt foam matcha. Match-A has made it to my top 3 favorite Matcha places in Chicago!

My partner and I visit twice in one week! First time we visited was two days after their grand opening and then a few days after that. They were super packed both times! Drinks are about $9 so it's on the pricier side but very worth it! The drinks come out superrrrr green with 4.5g of matcha powder and they are very creamy! They hand-whisk everything to order so it will take a LONG time if they are packed.

Super packed, expected to wait for a little bit. They are pretty efficient and fast pace tho so it's moving fast The seasalt cream and strawberry matcha are so good!!!! The music is amazing, I love their mix playlist.

Very fun concept for a pop up bar. It's located within a furniture store with great lightning and space but limited seating. We got the matcha strawberry and the matcha coke. Would definitely not recommend the matcha coke drink and the strawberry was way too strong, could barely taste the matcha. Service was great though!

Minimalist, open, and bright interior. A focused matcha menu. Efficient setup. Friendly people. Strong matcha. Basically all the things I love about a place like this. Bonus: they were playing my favorite Asian YouTube travel vloggers who have truly been to hundreds of matcha shops in Japan, which to me proves they're not one of those fast, overly sweet matcha spots. The only small thing I think could be improved is the cream top. It felt more like whipped cream, and I would have preferred something a little smoother and more pourable. Overall, we'll definitely be back.

I ordered the "Sea Salt Matcha Double Cream - Ceremonial-grade matcha (~4.5g) blended with choice of milk (oat and whole) topped with rich double cream and a touch of sea salt". Legit matcha spot that stands above the recent new matcha/tea places. I love the small menu (hope they keep it that way) and so much standing space they can add a few tables in addition to the cool stadium seating. Truly one of the best matcha spots in the city right now. No issues with service and staff were friendly.

This is amazing! Sea Salt Matcha Double Cream is so creamy smooth. The perfect amount of sweetness and the matcha is amazing. I was wired up. Glad I got it at 8 am to get my day started and started for work Located in west town, you'll find street parking in front Their interior is giving minimalist LA chic vibes. Limited seatings and a lot of open space for standing Every cup is made to order so be patient with them as they whisk up a perfect matcha cup. Even arriving at 8:15 there were already a few guest before me. It's good and bad I live 12 min away. I did get oat milk which the cup ended up being $10 but in comparison to other matcha cups, this was pretty large.

Really good matcha. The service is efficient. I think since they are new, there's no space to dine-in. they have these signature cups which are so cute! Can't wait to come back!!

I went to match a popup near Chinatown. I got the matcha cola, pure matcha and the matcha latte. I would say the matcha was smooth but nothing outstanding. The matcha latte tasted the best out the three. I would recommend having them add more sugar into the drink. The service was quite quick considering it is a pop up. I also liked watching them hand whisk the matcha in front of you!

Definitely a good matcha spot. Not too many seating inside but the area is cute. Not sure if it was because I went late, but the wait was not long so that was a plus. The only thing I have to say is that it made me go to the bathroom and I'm not lactose intolerant...

Came here on a Saturday afternoon, and I waited an hour due to the long lines and their reopening hours at 1:30pm. But once they opened, the line went by pretty quick. I'm impressed by how fast they make the drinks and have their quality still be good! Everyone ordered through a machine. There's two of them. And then you just wait for your order to be called! Quick and easy for their delicious drinks. Make sure to tip the hard working staff!

The best matcha I've ever had! Even though we had to wait almost an hour, it was worth it.

The decor is classic and cozy, and the coffee is genuinely excellent. I also love doing work here with their community tables. They really balance the flavor combinations really well, especially with the ghostly trio! Despite how busy it gets, the service is surprisingly quick, and somehow every drink still comes out consistently great. I honestly don't know how they manage it.

There was already a small line of guests with the same idea, but we were able to get on the waitlist. While waiting, we checked out the small coffee shop inside the gallery and browsed the furniture, which helped pass the time. Our wait was about an hour before being escorted to our table in the courtyard. Initially, we were placed at a low coffee table with couch seating. It's a cool lounge style setup, especially for drinks, but not ideal for a meal. It would have been pretty awkward trying to eat comfortably. We asked to be moved and were told that table preferences should be requested when joining the waitlist. Since it was my first time visiting, I wasn't aware of that, and it also wasn't asked by the hostess. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate us and moved us to a table in the wine cellar. The wine cellar had a completely different vibe, dark and moody, compared to the bright, airy courtyard with its beautiful glass ceiling and natural light. We ordered the lobster roll and the RH Burger, both with fries. The food came out fairly quickly and was well-presented. The lobster roll was served on a buttery brioche with just the right amount of seasoning, and the burger was juicy and flavorful. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely visit again.

Also important is how nice this spot is decorated. We started with a mocha, a solid, well-balanced drink that wasn't overly sweet and was just perfect. We didn't plan on eating here, but the menu was way too tempting. We ordered the cinnamon roll, and wow. This was insanely good. Most cinnamon rolls in the U.S. feel like sugar-heavy, cinnamon-flavored buns, but this one was light, flavorful, and beautifully made. The irimshik on top really elevated it, subtle, warm, and just sweet enough. Easy 10/10. Next was the cottage cheese pancake, which was also very good. It had a generous amount of cottage cheese stuffed inside, and paired with the sweet irimshik dip, the dish came together really well. 9/10. We then tried the qattama. It was good. flaky, crispy, and reminded me of a paratha. It came with a sour irimshik dip. While each component was good, I felt the qattama would shine more with a gravy-based dish. 7/10. Finally, we ordered the Nan Salma pasta. It's a tarry-based white sauce pasta with a unique flavor profile, and it was genuinely yum. Definitely something different and worth trying. Highly recommend it. 8/10. You have space to sit down and work as well. Service was good too. Some of the dishes might take 7-10mins to get prepared.
