Hawaiian Muffin

Best Hawaiian muffins ever! So good. Dong pass up on the lillikoi bun either! Service was quick and very kind. It's in a cute little plaza by snorkel bobs and that's a wrap. It's a must!

My wife and I were a big fan of this place during our stay in Maui! My wife loved the banana bread, it was delicious and moist! I love the ube mochi. It had strong ube flavors and the texture was perfect. Parking is a small lot but enough parking. I highly recommend when you're in Maui!

We love this bakery, and make sure to visit it several times during our visit to Maui. It's always a good idea to get there early before everything is gone. I especially love their macaroons and extra long coconut biscotti, but this year I found their Chocolate Pretzel Croissant outstanding!! The salty and sweet just made it perfect. Of course their breads and rolls are yummy too! Staff is always helpful and welcoming. We'll be back next year.

Every visit I have in Maui I stopped by for their ginger Cookie. Every encounter I have is pleasant. Today I came in to take some for my workers to try their POG bread for our red eye flight back. The very special person Elfie helped me choose some options. I was glad to try some Macadamia Cookie, Ginger Cookie and Pog loaf bread. Thank you for your hospitality will visit sometime soon again when work takes me back

This shop has the best breads. Parking lot is small and shared with quite a few shops but people seem to come and go alot so be patient and you'll snag a spot. There is so much to choose from I picked the cinnamon roll and a lilikoi filled pastry. There are a few tables outside but decided to take them home. Both were SO good, I will definately buy these again. The cinnamon roll was so soft and tender and the pastry had so much filling. Be sure to go early for the best selection they sell out quickly of many items. There is usually a line of people waiting for them to open at 7.

Another visit to Maui and another beautiful morning on the beach with a breakfast treat from Maui Bread. They have many options to choose from. It's hard to walk away with only one or two items. They have some warm items like ham and cheese twist, pineapple and cheese twist. Oh no, I am making myself hungry, might need to go back.

Cute little shop with fresh pastries- definitely worth the stop. We ordered the Pina colada sweet bun, pretzel croissant, and Pineapple & ham twist. The bread is so soft when you bite in to it. The pina colada sweet bun is moist and has pineapple & coconut shavings- I would order this every time. The pretzel croissant perfectly flakey, soft, & salty. The pineapple & ham twist had that sweet & savory mix. Parking- parking lot shared with other businesses

Lilikoi Sweet Bun

We love visiting Maui Bread company when we're in Kihei! There are plenty of breads and pastries to choose from. They also have a lovely display area with little jars of jellies, butters, and chutneys with different flavors - lilikoi (passion fruit), guava, mango, and coconut pineapple! We got the Lilikoi Sweet Bun, Pina Colada Sweet Bun, and the Paprika, Onion, Cheese Roll. While we enjoyed them all, the Pina Colada Sweet Bun was my personal favorite. The Lilikoi Sweet Bun was pretty tart and was FILLED with lilikoi jam.

Cinnabon, specially Hawaiian coconut muffin, and 2 croissants.

Let me tell you, when it comes to finally finding a bakery where the bread and pastries blast my pallet right back to Germany, little did I expect it across the street from the beautiful beaches of Kīhei. The best part of this business is Frau Elfi. She's a passionate about her craft, very hardworking, and is surrounded by an all star staff. Setting is beyond words, grab your delicious meal on the go, or walk across the street and sit and enjoy it overlooking the ocean. It's incredible all around, just make sure to respectfully throw your trash away properly, once you're done enjoying your "pastries with a view".

Really cool counter-service bakery with baked goodies. The coffee selection is limited with one hot and one cold option. I had the sweet roll guava in the middle and the guava juice. Both were not overly sweetened and were a huge portion in my opinion (sorry for no pic, next time). Seating is outside and the staff is supppppper friendly. You can smell the baking dough from the parking lot. There is ample free parking and other shops in the complex to visit. I would totally recommend!!!!

Ku'ia chocolate

We came here a couple of times during our time here and thought overall the baked goods were pretty good. We had the macnut muffin, pretzel croissant (both sell out frequently we were told), the chocolate croissant, and the cheese, paprika and onion bread. The macnut muffin was the best of these pastries. Very fresh and good but also more like a muffin top since it's small. The pretzel croissant lived up to its name and tasted like both things -- was good but it had a bit too much salt. The cheese bread had too much onion in it and the seeds in it were a pleasant surprise (even though the ingredients did not list the seeds). The chocolate croissant was a huge disappointment. It was literally a croissant cut open and filled with chocolate chips -- the chocolate was not even melted. The staff here are friendly and it's nice that have ku'ia chocolate here -- we went on a chocolate tour on a prior visit and it was nice that they sold the chocolates there without having to go to that chocolate store. It's very good chocolate!

Ah this place is so good we went twice during our short trip!…read more If the line is out to the parking lot expect to wait 30-45 minutes. It helps to order ahead but you will need to order the day before - they don't do same day orders. Also some things you can't order online like their musubis, etc. However you can still get their malasadas and croissants, etc. We tried all their malasadas and our favs were the coconut cream and the lilikoi (passion fruit). We also tried their mango bread which was moist and fruity (no chunks of mango in it though) and the lime pie which was lovely! However, I think the big surprise for me was that the malasadas are smaller than I expected. The first time I had a malasada was at Leonard's in Oahu which are like...the size of your hand. These are more like golf ball sized. They were still excellent but I think that just caught me off guard. But we still enjoyed them!

It was evil and so delicious!!! major regrets of not buying the last one. I think a cup of coffee would have been a nice pairing. Service was decent. But nah, good timing. People were finishing up, bussing tables, and bam, maybe 20-30 minutes tops. Not bad at all. While we was waiting, they come out with waffle samples for everyone in line. I mean... who does that? That's how you keep people from getting all hangry. Instant good vibes, the whole line outside was just smiling and waiting patiently. Finally get seated and both the hostess and waitress were super nice--real friendly, no rush, no attitude. In the front they had mushroom soup on the specials board, so we figured we go sample um. I had them bring a cup of soup out to start along with my wife's coffee. Gotta be honest--when I dipped my spoon in, I was already judging. Looked kinda thin, not creamy like other mushroom soups I've had. I was thinking, "Ahh here we go." Took one spoonful and immediately had to humble myself. That soup was money. Like, stop-talking-and-just-eat. My wife tried it and confirmed that this soup was "winnahs" . Deep mushroom flavor with the right amount of seasoning. It also came with a little piece of focaccia toast which I would have really enjoyed but had to take my wife's word for it since she ate um all . Should've ordered the bowl. Rookie mistake. For my main, I went with the original eggs Benedict. Portions were a little on the small side, but with the roasted potatoes, I was good. Didn't leave hungry, didn't need to loosen the belt--perfect middle ground. My wife got the strawberry waffles and yeah... those were legit. She's not a syrup person, so she asked for more whipped cream. The waitress comes back with a little mountain of whipped cream in the little silver ramekin. All in all, solid spot. Friendly people, ono food, and little touches that make you feel taken care of. We will be heading to Cafe Kaila again to try some other stuff like the "chicken and waffles", and next time, I'm not playing around with the soup. Bowl, Garans.

The parking lot is a bit tight upon arrival, but you can definitely drive around the back and check for availability there. I was pleased to find the line wasn't outside the door. It was pretty busy inside, for good reason. Their pastries and food options looked spectacular. As I observed seated customers, everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves and their treats. I was a little disappointed to see the pump bottles of syrup by the bar, as I would've loved to try a house made syrup. But nonetheless, I ordered a cortado with coconut milk and Mac nut flavoring. It was much smaller than I was used to from ordering cortados at other shops, but it was perfect. I wish I took a photo. Since I stopped by before returning my rental car in the afternoon, there wasn't that much of a wide variety of pastries left. However I was able to snag an Ube croissant. I saved it on my flight and ate it at home the following day. It remained super soft and fresh. The ube filling was light yet flavorful without being too sweet. The color was gorgeous. I'm not sure if you'll understand, but the croissant was flakey but not dry. It was airy, but still bready and full. It was hugeeee!! I'd compare it to half the size of my forearm lol. I only waited about 10 mins from entry to exit. After trying this shop, I would gladly wait outside on the steps if I had to. Can't wait to return and try some new items!!
