We were traveling and had 600 miles to go when we found a tire low. It was a Sunday and we thought it was going to be forever to get a patch. The people were great they got us in as soon as they could. We appreciate the kindness and smiling faces helping out some out of town travelers. I recommend this tire place. 9/14/2026 - Went to schedule an appointment online (9/13/26) for 4 new tires then I get a call saying that they will not be able to get to it today because of "too many other orders". Ask to leave the car there so that it can be serviced the next day, they were willing to accommodate. Arrive at the location at the time I schedule and they are completely empty only 1 car in the bay and 2 guys at the desk. At that point I realized that the people working there that day just didn't want to do any work. On the website I had an estimate for $433 for the tires and the work I wanted done. When I got there they already up-charged me by adding another $80. "Alright fine" I thought. Leave my Phone # and went on my way. The next day (9/14/26) I had to call them to get an update, finding out that they did not properly save my Phone #. They had it done and was just sitting there and nothing else was done to try to contact me. Then I'm told that the car needed an alignment. I just had an alignment done with Kilean Automotive after getting a new clutch kit just a month ago and I barely drove my car. "Fine" I don't know enough to contrast them on what they know so I trusted them. This was around 1 pm when I told them that I will go ahead with the alignment. Wasn't able to pick it up until 5pm because of my ride. Getting there at 5pm my car is STILL IN THE BAY!!! I was told that it need more time as it was still pulling. The time I got my car which was a good 15 mins later. The dude looked like he was about to break into a sweat with anxiety because he clearly knew something was up-to-standard with how things should have gone. I get in my car and my NEW TIRES are hovering around 45 PSI !!! Seems like this place will hire anybody as long as they can smile at you with a lie. Had I not caught the PSI at which my tires were at they would have easily exploded on me causing my life and others in danger. This place is irresponsible and should not be trusted with your vehicle. Another note is that they had driven my car so much that they ruined my MPG avg and ate up a 1/4 of my gas tank. Lord only knows what they did with my car. read more

I got a low tire pressure on my run flat tires and the technicians there went out of their way to take off the tire and inspect it discovering a nail even tho they did not have tires I needed in stock. They got it put back on and aired up so that I could get to Kennesaw to the Genesis dealer where they did have them in stock. They didn't have to do that for me but I am so thankful they did! Getting tires for a Ford F-350 dually. Called ahead to order the 4 rear tires. Truck is only available on weekends. Specified all terrain. Showed up for appt & had wrong tires. This next weekend, dropped off at 8:30 am. At 10:00 am called to quote an oil change for $300. At 11:00 am called to quote $660 for just front brakes. He specified at that point that he only needed 4 tires. Called ahead to pick up. They gave us eta for pick up. Showed up 30 min after the time they gave us. As the saying goes... fish rots from the head. The staff here has a serious attitude problem, and it seems to stem from the manager. Every time I've been here it's been a hassle, needlessly. It seems to be their mission to avoid servicing your vehicle. At my latest visit David refused to rotate the tires on my SUV. The reason he gave was because the two rear tires are at 3/32 and 4/32. When I called it to his attention that the front tires still had 7/32 tread left and needed to be rotated to the rear because that's where the majority of traction was on this vehicle, he simply refused. I mentioned that he was putting the occupants in risk by refusing to rotate the tires, but he didn't care, which is a liability for Mavis. Ironically, I will no longer be buying a new set of tires from Mavis next month, nor will I ever buy any kind of service from any Mavis store in the future, for any of my vehicles. read more

Very poor customer service. The person which is usually at the front (I think named Dee- she is so rude and unprofessional but the company keeps her-what a joke! After telling a family member about the service they told me about how bad they were also treated. An email was sent to complain but never had a response. Even upper management does not have a backbone to reach out and fix the problems. Terrible customer service as well as terrible company policies. I've been a long-time Kauffman customer with multiple vehicles until Mavis bought them out and changed things. I bought tires on 4/13/2020 along with an alignment. * They no longer offer lifetime balances on the tires they sell so I had pay for a balance elsewhere. First of many red flags. * I had a flat 2k miles in and discovered I didn't purchase "road hazard", of which there was no mention at all of at the time of purchase (they usually put it on your ticket automatically) so now I had to pay them for flat repair. * In 10K miles, the tires are more worn out than the others tire that I bought a year prior even though I had it aligned. The alignment I did today wasn't off by much, not enough to make these tires as bad as they are. * 2 different Mavis salespeople from this store told me that these tires "do not have a warranty" and I that needed to go to the manufacturer to handle the warranty issues, which I did. I then get a call from Denis, the overworked warranty claims person representing Mavis. Basically, he wanted to do a pro-ration on the purchase of new tires through Mavis, which I know is a total TRAP! That's how they keep customers for many years to come, forever pro-rating tires... I decided to cut them off completely at this point and make a new purchase elsewhere. Too many negatives and huge red flags to continue business with them. (As a side note, they took away the free water and coffee, which should've been the first sign of things to come.) Moral of this story: don't buy cheap Chinese made tires. I realize it's very hard to not buy the less expensive Chinese-made products because we're completely buried in them. Just steer clear from companies that sell them and won't stand behind them. Do the research on products and look at ratings like this before you make a bad purchase! read more

Went last Saturday for a repair. I had a screw in the tire. they looked at it said I also have a screw in the sidewall on the inside and the tire was not fixable. they could not get the replacement tire until the following week . I called discount tire and they had the tire next day when I went into discount tire to have the tire replaced. they said there was no screw in the sidewall fixed the the initial problem for free and refunded my tire purcha that was not necessary wow mavis you are dishonest read more

Took two cars up last Saturday, The Santa Fe needed tires rotated and balanced, the Camry needed brakes and rotors, and tires rotated and balanced. They did a great job with the Santa Fe. The Camry the brakes and rotors are good! The balance in the tires is off. So taking it back Thursday, 4-29, hopefully everything will work out fine. I sure it will. Had a tire losing air, so visited this store for repair. Told there wasn't enough tread to repair, even though same shop told me 7k miles ago I had probably 15k miles of wear left. No problem, I agreed to let them put on a new set and made an appt, as they had to order them. Returned on appt day and waited 1hour 45min until tech came and got me and showed me the new tires...which were the incorrect size. Guy looks at me and asks "who ordered these tires"? as if it was my fault. Told them I didn't appreciate my time being wasted or them not initially taking full responsibility for their error. They said they8order the correct size and install for cost. I agreed to that. They said they may even get them in that day, but they'd call me. That was 10 days ago. I called twice and was told they were working on it, maybe the tires were on backorder and they'd call me. Called Canton Tire 2 days ago and they ordered same tires and installed them today for less than Mavis quoted. read more

I drive for work and in the middle of my work day I realized a HUGE screw had become lodged in my tire. In a panic I located the nearest tire shop to me and got their as quickly (and safely lol) as I could thinking any minute now my tire is going to start deflating. I am very picky about where I take my vehicle to be serviced but it was an emergency so I had to nervously hope for the best. Chelsea greeted me with a smile, came out and took a look at the tire and assured me they would help me as quick as they could. In less than 10 minutes they had my SUV up on the rack. In just a few minutes David came out with the screw in hand and said I was in luck because the screw was only stuck in the tread and the tire was fine. He inspected all the other tires and checked the tire pressure just to be certain at NO CHARGE! He easily could have claimed he had to repair the tire and charged me for it and I would not have had a clue otherwise. They are truly the most trustworthy and friendly mechanics I have ever experienced and I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Mavis Tires & Brakes to my friends and family. THANK YOU CHELSEA AND DAVID! Called on a Sunday to order 1 tire to replace one that was cut in the sidewall. I was told the tire would be in on Tuesday. Tuesday I called to verify, the tire was not ordered so I had them order it again. I was told it would be in on Thursday. I called to verify the tire had arrived. I took my truck in Saturday morning around 8:30 for the to put the tire on. I was told it would take 2 hours and the wheel would be ready to put back on the truck. I left it and called back 3 hours later to see if it was ready. They had not even started on it. 6 hours after dropping it off they called and said it was ready. I brought the truck in Sunday around 10:30 for them to take the spare off and put the new wheel on. I waited an hour and they were no where close to doing so. So, 7 hours of waiting to get a new tire installed I had to take the spare off and put the new one on myself. I'm glad I wasn't getting 4 new tires, it would have taken 32 hours and then me having to put them on. Not happy with the service. The people that talked to me were really nice. read more

Horrible service and transaction! I ordered Bridgestone Dueller Tires for a 2011 BMW X3 on August 31st. The web site stated they were in stock and they gave me an appointment date of September 10th. After arriving for my scheduled tire installation on the 10th I was told by the sales rep that they didn't have the tires. I asked why couldn't they let me know before I showed up and the rest of started they didn't know about my order until the morning that I arrived. Needless to say, I want a happy camper. The manager said he'd call me later, but I don't he'll be able to do anything because he had already told me that their supplier didn't have any of my tires available. I have to say I was really impressed how I came in with a screw in my tire and they got it done asap! I thought I would have to wait hours! Wait time was not that long, bit longer than I expected, but they were busy! So I am happy they took me in without an appointment! I have used them once before to put on new tires for another vehicle, with an appointment, and they did a top notch job, and got the job done quicker from what they told me! I highly recommend them! Mavis has bought all the Kaufman Tires and this one at least has lost all customer service. I was told my vehicle would be looked at in an hour and a half, three and a half hours later it had not moved. Then I witnessed another man asked about how long his vehicle would be and the counter help said he didn't know maybe a half an hour. The counter help said he's not out in the shop so he couldn't tell. We both suggested he go ask which he reluctantly did. The guys from New York need to get down here and straighten this place out or their investment is going to fail. read more

My car was looked at by this shop. Per their district manager- they were supposed to inspect my car for damages to the motor caused by a different Mavis location. Upon picking my car up the next day, I was informed there was no need to inspect for damage, my tires were the issue. Odd, because I did not have any issue prior to bringing my vehicle to Mavis tire. The only other issue I had with this location was, they did not enter my car being brought into their shop until a Month later, so when I brought my issue to mavis tire corporate, it looked like I had waited a month to bring it back which was NOT the case. Both experiences at the different locations were the SAME day, not 37 days later, like their records conveniently now state. I was offered no explanation by the manager, no offer to fix it- it was as if he could have cared less. This company is the farthest thing from honest, and I would not trust them with the simplest of tasks. It has proven to be far above their skill level here. Avoid ALL Mavis tire locations- as they do not care about their customers- only the money they can get from you, and since I was not a paying customer at this location they didn't care about my issues! read more
