After given too much run around by my tire & rims insurance, I decided to give this place a try. On 07/10/19, I spoke to Jr, he pointed out the problems & without any pressure - he recommended what was needed to be done. I was pleased that prior to commencing the repair, he was able to provide the price without add on surprises. Jr came across very knowledgeable with their services. In fact one of the rims sustained 3 cracks, and he was honest enough to tell me that he could fix it but it will not hold very well since I need to replace the rim. At that point, he did not try to sell me rims or any unnecessary parts. In fact, he encouraged me to deal with the tire insurance. For me, that came across as honest business. Today, I returned to replace my brakes. Since I shopped around for prices, I know that Affinity provided me a good deal. I dealt with Manny and he explained that rotors needed to be changed. He showed me the problematic part, but did not pressure me to pursue the service like I didn't have a choice. Both gentlemen provided excellent customer service. I am pleased with the overall work. This place is highly recommended.

They offered to fix the mirror (great!), went back to pick it up a week later and the mirror was brown/gold and clearly a different color than the original mirror. So now I have two mirrors that don't match. So I ask them to fix this with two mirrors that match, another week passes and finally get the car. I thought ok they finally fixed it, we can move on & all is well. Then, this week I get a notice of an unpaid ticket in the mail and the street markings/date are while this car was at this shop. They parked it during street sweeping and didn't bother paying the ticket or telling me about it. So now I'm stuck with a ticket, a mirror that still doesn't quite match the other one, and a month of a hassle over getting..an oil change.

I kept asking them what was going on. Finally, they gave up, told me to come get the car, and I realized they had left the lights on all of that time, which is why I kept getting the alerts. Took the car (Mercedes) to the dealership - fixed in one day at zero cost. Riverdale Auto Clinic FAILED to accurately diagnose the issue, and charged me $1500 for it. Wait, it gets better. This week the battery needed to be replaced (I wonder why). Once again, my wife was driving the car, stopped in. They replaced the battery, thanks, I suppose. I guess they thought they were being nice by washing the car but LOST THE FRONT PASSENGER floor mat. How does that even happen? So, now I'm buying new mats because they are giving us the run around and not doing what is the right thing to do and replacing what they took out of my car, without asking, and lost it. I will NEVER go back there and highly recommend NO ONE go there.

I brought my 2018 Chevy Equinox in after it failed to start due to a dead battery. This shop did not provide any supporting technical data (OBD-II codes or test results) to justify this cost. When I stated I would not be proceeding with repairs there because the "Engine" diagnosis did not coincide with my prior AAA report (which clearly showed a charging system failure with low voltage), the staff was visibly unhappy and unprofessional about my decision to take my vehicle elsewhere. The true issue, confirmed by a second independent mechanic, was a straightforward failure of the alternator and battery. This shop incorrectly diagnosed a serious "Engine" issue when the problem was clearly the charging system. I lost $189.50 and valuable time due to this vague diagnosis and poor service. They told me I needed a brand new engine and tried to charge me $3,995.00. In conclusion it was my alternator and battery that needed changing. Which only cost me $795.00. Avoid this place if you can.
