Did someone poop in the guac

What has happened to this place? Didn't give us the correct order the guacamole is old and the food is not what it used to be. Save your money and go to taco bell way better food. The staff was great but does not make up for quality of food. So sad to see this place go down hill after being the go to for so long.

We always enjoy coming to Mazatlans. Poncho is the best. He is very entertaining and always remembers us!!! Thank you so much for having us.

The receipt I signed said $59.99

    Tortilla soup.

We were in the area visiting a friend and I was in the mood for some chicken tortilla soup. We saw this restaurant and decided to stop in. What can I say? It was a disappointing lunch. The complimentary chips were fresh and good, the salsa had the appearance and consistency of tomato soup with a little chunks of tomatoes in it. Never had salsa that bad before. Ordered the chicken tortilla soup and was excited for it since I was looking forward to it. OMG. It was horrible!! It was very diluted with bits of grilled chicken in it and lack any flavor. I wouldn't mind paying $14.99 for a bowl of soup, but at least it should be enjoyable. (Costco has better tortilla soup then this place). My husband ordered the deluxe tostada salad. It didn't look appetizing therefore I didn't try it. He said it was difficult to enjoy because it was very liquidly. Guess when they put the Chile Colorado in the salad it was way too much sauce therefore making it very soupy and overly wet. He mixed it before I could get a picture of it.

Two enchiladas- one chicken, one cheese, with rice and beans

We've been dining at Mazatlan for years. We just moved from Everett and used to patronize that location. It's a family-run chain of restaurants in this area. The food is just okay. Apparently they use the same recipes and ingredients across locations, but it doesn't taste quite the same down here. My go-to is the kids meal enchilada with pinto beans inside of the enchilada (meat isn't my thang), add avocado, and a side of corn tortillas. The enchiladas are just average. The avocado adds a nice creamy topping- especially with a touch of sea salt. You can't order a kid's meal online using their order system- it's not listed. You need to call to order that. The enchiladas are gluten-free. I've never had a reaction but I don't have celiac- I'm just NCGS/non-celiac gluten-sensitive. The chips and salsa are good. The salsa tastes like it does at the other Mazatlan locations- spicy and chunky. Sometimes they give you a confusing amount of chips- like half of a very small bag with four entrees. Like. Whut? My husband gets three chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and he says it's solid. Pros: Online ordering Fast service Solid food Vegetarian option for enchiladas that isn't cheese Pretty restaurant (although we've only done takeout because of COVID) Friendly and efficient service Supporting a local family They're really friendly on Instagram (this matters to me mmkay?) Easy parking Cons: Can't order a kid's meal online Price adds up quickly- even with three kid's meals and one adult entree Confusing chip portions Not all staff are educated about allergens

My hubby and I wanted to try a new place for Valentine's day. We were so happy that we stopped here. Their drinks are so tasty and the chips perfect. My husband had the fish tacos and i of course stole a bite and now they are all i want. My chile relleno was soooo good. We will be back many times!!!!

EXTREMELY watered down red sauce and way too much cheese. Probably to add more volume to my small enchilladas.

Between me & my girl we tried a bunch of different things -- the Texas smoked sausage, guacamole, arroz de la casa, esquite, quesadillas, fish tacos, the 8 oz filet mignon, and the American wagyu burger. Honestly there wasn't a single thing we didn't like. The filet was cooked perfectly & came out on a hot plate. It will continue to cook if you leave it on the plate but they disclose that & give you an extra plate to transfer it to (some people complain about their steak being overcooked but in my opinion that's their own fault lol). The esquite and arroz de la casa were amazing, I'll order both sides every time I come back. Overall it was just a really solid meal. Definitely a place I'd recommend if you're in the Sumner area.

Service is good, not overbearing or too sparse. Prices a bit high, but it's worth it as nearly everything is made in house and high quality. 100% would recommend. WISH THEY WERE OPEN ON TUESDAYS!

I saw the large white truck outside the corner grocery gas mart and swooped in to try it on a whim. I ordered 3 tacos: asada, pollo and carnitas. Delicious!!!! I thought I died and woke up in Central Ca. Highly recommend. (This high of a compliment from me for a taco truck in WA is very rare) Clearly, I highly recommend. I can't wait to go back! I want to also mention. I witnessed the owner paying a homeless man for helping keep his outside space clean and swept. He paid him cash and a plate of food. This owner earned my respect and business even before I bit into one of those delicious tacos.

My husband and I both got the birria tacos with consome, a side of rice and beans, and guacamole. Everything was packaged up well and was still warm considering it's kind of far from us. Only bummer was that they didn't send along our side of chips & guac. :( The tacos themselves are pretty dang big, and with us each getting two, it was a lot of food. Overall I thought they were really good, but the downside was that we got a lottt of fatty, squishy meat in our tacos which really grosses me out. The parts that weren't super fatty were delicious though!! The consomé was also absolutely fire and I definitely straight up just drank some of it - zero shame. Rice and beans were tasty, but that's hard to mess up. We also really enjoyed the salsas they provided - they both had a good kick that wasn't painful and the flavor was on point. I personally loved the green one the most! Their little food truck setup looks super cute and I definitely want to visit in person to give the tacos a second chance.
