This dealership is parking their overflow cars on the cross streets of Eccles and Penfield EVERY. SINGLE. DAY! I have personally witnessed these people dropping off numerous cars at night. It is making it ridiculously hard to find parking for residents of our neighborhood. It is wrong and they should be ashamed of themselves. We have called for tows many times, but they just park different cars after we get them towed. It's is predatory and intentional. If you can't afford another lot, say so bro. Have been curious about MBZ Motors for years. Place is always packed with customers queued along the street and cars waiting to be either repaired or picked up all the way to adjacent parking lots. The reason: George and is crew do a very good and honest job. The dealership previously recommended I needed a new control arm for my GL550 to the tune of over $3k. I decided to live with the squeaking noise for months but finally decided to bring it in somewhere after a check engine light came on and I messed up one of the rear bellows going over a bad pothole (thank you Caltrans). I randomly drove over to MBZ Motors (busy as usual) and noticed George attending to half a dozen customers all at the same time! Without hesitation, he accommodated me and started diagnosing the check engine warning while talking to me and still talking to other customers. He fixed it for free on the spot and suggested that I drive it around for a few days and determine if the warning comes back but also made a reservation for me to have everything else on the vehicle checked out. Long story short, nothing wrong with the control arm at all and only needed lubrication, a pair of bellows replaced below what it would have cost me to do myself, a wheel alignment I've been ignoring but he did anyway, and I walked away saving thousands of dollars and very happy. I gave them every opportunity to upsell me on anything else the vehicle needed, but I think George already knew what to prioritize and what was practical. I'll definitely come back for all my MB maintenance and repairs. My suggestion is to either call ahead of time or walk in to make an appointment. George seems to accommodate everyone, and as you can imagine, you can't expect to receive a dealership like personalized VIP experience with free coffee. Be patient, good honest work takes time, and businesses like this are around for a long time for a reason. read more

I was referred by a close friend who I consider like family to MBZ motors. After arriving I realized these guys do honest good work and they do it with care as if it was their own vehicle. There were a number of MBZ cars on a lift, some could have been in a museum. That says a lot about this shop. I asked them to perform a full syn oil change and transmission service which they performed. They also checked my SRS sensor warning and gave me advise on how to get it turned off. Had such a good recent experience here! I have a 2008 Mercedes so things are starting to need replacing. I started taking it to a service center that's affiliated with Mercedes dealerships, and they quoted me an insane price for fixing a steering column/alignment problem. I reached out to a good friend of a friend who flips cars as a side hustle, specifically high-end brands like Mercedes, and he agreed the cost was inflated (though they probably couldn't control the pricing as it was likely dictated by the dealer/business) and referred me to this place - he said MBZ Motors might not the cheapest but they are honest. Sure enough, MBZ gave me an estimate over the phone before I even brought my car in that felt much more reasonable. Once they got my car, they gave me a firm price (it was even a bit less than what they quoted me before) and they took a few days to make the repairs - I had told them there was no rush since I rarely drive anywhere. I paid cash when I picked it up which I think saved me some additional money. The gentleman I communicated with throughout this process was George, and he was very nice and professional. Rear brakes and sensors were installed, along with an oil change for my GLE350. Surprisingly, just 13 months later, the brake pads needed replacement. It's wise to inquire about the type of pads being used; it seems cheaper ones were installed, wearing out after just 13 months and 8000 miles. Attempts to contact them have been fruitless; either the line is constantly busy, or if you manage to get through, you're met with rudeness and a dismissive "come next Tuesday" response. read more
