Service is horrible here. The front workers have no grasp of customer service. If they actually have managers they should train or hire better. Hire kids that want to work or have a slightest bit of customer service knowledge. To go order just sat at the window with no customers in line or anywhere. I had to ask after it sat there five minutes, the male worker moved it from the window but didn't bag it then left the area and went to do something else. We returned to pick up dinner after our daughter's swim lesson and received the same awesome customer experience from their staff as our previous visit. The cashier was very patient with us as we are not too familiar with their menu. My husband and I placed our order for pick 2 and took home to eat. The food was well packaged and was delicious. I am a fan of McAlister's Deli for 3 reasons. 1. Delicious chili sold by cup or bowl, flavorful with NO beans. Thank you McAlister's. 2. They have fantastic salads, they're so good. 3. The tea is fabulous. And for 75 cents you can add purees. I add the strawberry and it's wonderful. The reason I give this location 3 stars is because of their often unpleasant, unfriendly, unsmiling staff. It's rare for me to receive friendly customer service at this one. read more

I LOVE the cookies, especially the chocolate chip when baked right . This place puts out DAILY Burnt , crispy and black chocolate chip cookies!!! This is the only location that on a regular basis can't seem to get it right when it comes to baking the cookies. Manager once said the person in the morning made a mistake. But it's a daily occurrence now so it can't be a mistake. I had to stop using a food delivery services because I thought they were intentionally sending out the cookies nobody in their right mind would purchased if getting them from the store. A few occasions I drove from home to the store to swap out the cookies for properly baked ones. Get this, the person didn't throw away the burnt cookies, simply took them from me and placed back in the rack for someone else to come and purchase. Well I love the McAllister food at most of the locations but like others I found this place to be subpar. I think the only thing I liked was the fact they were fast on refills which what does that really say? The kids pizza was soggy as could be drenched with what tasted like jarred paste and the cheese generic cheap stuff to save money. My kid which normally will eat pizza anywhere did not touch more then a bite of it. The broccoli cheese soup was typical while the rest of the meal seemed so small. It's almost like they were rationing portions cause they were about to run out in the back. I mean normally I stop buy just for the lemonade but the strawberry this time around was horrible. It was almost like it was old and no one cared to make a fresh batch. We wont be back to this location ever which is sad because it's the nearest one to us. Highland Village has never messed up on the quality so another 10 minutes is doable for food worth the money. read more

Ordered my food (gave me no receipt) and waited 30 min for it kept seeing others getting their food that ordered after me. This is the first review I have ever done. I will start by saying i really enjoy McCallisters food. I have had many different locations but unfortunately this one just lacks customer service and attention to detail. I am not a complainer and when it comes to food understands humans are making it and sometimes mistakes happen. We have had numerous issues with this location and it is all what seems to just be laziness. When issues have been brought to management attention it's just a we're sorry let me fix it. Generally that isn't a bad approach but it just keeps happening. Salad dressings not included. Salads that barely fill up half of the container. Again mistakes happen and that is ok. At some point you expect it to get better and it just never does. I keep coming back (I like the food) and I just can't do it anymore for this location. Here is a picture of my side potato salad. I literally ate it in 3 bites and even the picture doesn't really do it justice. I really wish this location had better management because like I said I do enjoy the food. I hope at some point they get it fixed because it seems really easy to fix. Until then I will just have to go to different locations. If you are reading this I actually encourage you to go to this location and see for yourself. It just seems like nobody there cares. read more

We went to this location yesterday and ordered two meals for dine in and two to go. Misty was our order taker. She was very courteous and patient and the food was really delicious. I had the Choose 2 meal with a half of the pepper jack bacon turkey sandwich with a half of the berry pecan salad (don't remember the exact menu name), but I can tell you that it was absolutely beautiful, fresh and delicious. Wife picked up the large family carryout order which was supposed to include my Rueben. Well, it wasn't a RUEBEN as I have had in tbe past at the Southlake restaurant. Got part of it right. Corned beef between two slices of marbled rye. The rye was cold and dry. It gets worse. No swiss cheese and no thousand island dressing. Of course no kraut either. The reason why I took off a star was due to one of their highly marketed items the baked potatoes. It's my own fault, but they look MUCH larger in the picture than they actually are. I've always ordered from the Pick-2 menu and I've never had any complaints. They have a variety of salads, soups, plus hot & cold sandwiches which are all pretty awesome. I usually come during lunch time with co-workers and they always seem to be staffed and prepared to help the rush. This is extremely important for those of us on timed lunch breaks. This location is pretty clean and it's a great place to visit if you don't want to deal with the Alliance Town Center traffic during lunch time. Update: Jimmy the manager is AWESOME! He's always here when I visit, refilling drinks, asking about the service, correcting any ordered for those that are unhappy. McAlisters, give this guy a freaking raise!! I moved to this area recently and was glad to know there was a McAlister's near me, but should have checked here on Yelp before I decided to order at this one. I never usually review places or complain about much... but man this place had me pretty sad today. I made an order online for a pick two with garden salad and half Kings Club- requested croissant bread and did not get it, asked for all toppings/sauces and was missing honey mustard and bacon, but the salad was a salad. Ordered a side of potato salad as well and it must have been a 1/3 of the way full? My boyfriend had the full Kings Club and they actually omitted what he asked for (no mustard) but forgot to add pickles on both of our orders. We also got mac 'n cheese sides and both were barely half full, mostly liquid, and very, very cold. Completely cold and soupy. Ended up trying to salvage them by nuking them in the microwave with a bit more cheese but it was a soupy mess. Will not be returning. :( read more

It never fails....Every time I have ordered from him (with the exception of a manager making sure our food was correct the previous time we ordered). Our food seems to be slopped together, ask for a pickle, never receive a pickle. Get a baked potato with sour cream and butter on the side, yet never get butter or sour cream. Tea w lemon? That is a hit or miss as well. I understand every now and then, but it never fails. It took us a year and a free coupon to get our business back, because the times prior there were hairs (multiple in different foods, ick). Blah. Probably won't be back to this location. Not so much about McAlister's food, which is fine but their app which is not. I tried to order two chef salads for curbside but the app could not appreciate that I might want different dressings for the salads. After multiple tries to get two salads with two different dressing I had to give up and go order in person from a human. read more

6 or 8 months ago, I decided I was done with this McAlister's location. Today, I was hungry for a chicken salad sandwich and thought maybe things had changed. Not a chance, it appears to be their culture. This place is DIRTY!! The tables and the floors are rarely cleaned properly. The staff has to be prompted to clean off and wipe down the tables and then it's like you're inconveniencing them. I've never seen anyone sweep and mop the floors. I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like!! I travel all over the US and have been to several McAlister's as well as used them to cater meetings. This location (9604 Denton Rd in Ft Worth) certainly doesn't represent the brand well. I gave them 2 stars because the Harvest Chicken Salad is pretty excellent! It was around her chin, the whole reason I used curbside is due to covid 19 and not wanting to be around someone not wearing a mask.
