I have personally always loved my experience and time spent at McAllisters Deli until this point. I have been waiting for my SIMPLE order of a grilled chicken Caesar wrap for about 35 mins. I used to love this place, but tonight, everything was wrong, and I'm not exaggerating. They got the order wrong, and although they apologized and corrected it that was it. Then- no water. No au jus got the steak potato. Cucumbers on the salad- the only special request I'd made. No one came by to check on me. I won't be back. read more

My family of 4 frequently dines at this restaurant on Tuesdays for the kids eat free night. We waited in line for a few minutes before placing our order. When we finished ordering, Rob, the cashier gave me my total. I asked if he took off the child's meal. His response was, the kids eat free ends at 9:00. I looked at my phone and said it was 9:08. Poor customer service!!! Managers at this location need to train your younger employees about customer service. After this experience, I've got a bad taste in my mouth. I love McAlister's, the last I was there, I called in my order to go, when I got there they lost my order, so I had to reorder the meal, when I got home, I didn't get every I ordered. Other than no problems. The web site, they need to make it more simple for some of us who are not computer savvy. read more

I ordered lunch on line and pick up was schedule for 1:00 pm. I pulled into assigned parking called as stated on parking sign and provided notification of my name, vehicle make and model. I was informed someone would be out shortly. At 1:21 pm I call and request an update on the order. Employee Kallie speaks to me, I verified my name and order which she ask again and she proceeds to tell me they are searching for the order and I reply the order should not be lost. This infuriates Kallie and she begins to over talk me and a male co-worker in the bag ground ask what is her problem, I reply I do not have a problem I am attempting to pick up lunch that I purchased and why are you both being negative I have not been rude but I would like to get my lunch and Kallie responds, I do not have to put up with this and hangs up. I call back and spoke with Kayden (female voice) and requested to with the store manager. I have the opportunity to speak with Josh who reports he is the manager does not know the name of the general manager or who I could speak with at corporate. I requested a refund and was told I would be provided a gift card which I graciously declined and requested my account be credited and I will never eat at this establishment. Josh informed me this could not be done. I told him thank you and I would handle business by going on line and researching the matter. I am thankful for my co-worker who recorded the incident by using her phone while I was on speaker phone because of Kallie"s responses. It would be nice if I could upload the recording and maybe the Kallie would mind how she spoke to other. I do recognize people can have bad days but step back and take a deep breath. I had did and I thanked Josh for taking the time to listen. A big shout out to Firehouse Subs because they were able to take a order and prepare in less than ten minutes. read more

I really liked the environment of this place. It felt more like a sit down restaurant than a deli. The menu made it difficult for me to order-too many yummy choices!!!! Next time I hope to try the potato dish, but I'll have to bring a friend because it looks more like a meal than a side and I want my sandwich too! read more

After reading the other reviews I was a bit concerned, but we decided to give it a try. We went on kids eat free night, and we got two free kids meals per adult meal. The lady taking our order was very patient with us while our kids decided on what they wanted. Our food came out promptly, and even though we ordered something incorrectly they didn't hesitate to fix it. They checked on us a couple times during our meal, and made sure we had refills before we left. We will be back. Thanks for the great service! read more

We went in on a Sunday for lunch. It was not busy, but the sandwich that came out(grilled chicken club) looked like it had been pre-made and sitting for hours. The melted cheese was so hard you could tap it on the plate. The grilled chicken was super dry too. We sent the sandwich back to get another and while the second one was fresh, it was not even the same sandwich. Very disappointed! read more

Ordered or dinner from here tonight, got home and we were short a salad. I called and talked to the manager and it was there (they had forgotten to put it in the bag). 15 minutes later (we are about 10 miles away) it was delivered to our door along with 2 cookies for their mistake. Yeah I think I'm finally done with this location. I've had big orders that have been totally messed up, I've had take out orders which have been completely wrong with things missing and extra charges for stuff I never ordered, I've been charged twice with them telling me the first swipe of my card didn't go through then 2 charges show up on my statements. And I guess this last time just really was the last straw... I walked in and I cannot see the menu board behind the counter so I asked the clerk where the paper menus were and he said they were out....OK CLEARLY SOMEONE IS NOT DOING THEORY JOB ...you can't tell when your getting low on something that important and reorder them...so this kid tells me to have my daughter read the menu to me....EXCUSE ME? I brought her as an eating companion not a seeing eye dog because your establishment lacks the brains to do their job...then after I tell him I didn't bring her as a translator. ..he told me to look the menu up on my phone....if I wanted to look and order from my phone I would have ordered something from the comfort of my home, not wasted gas going to your establishment...I'll gladly spend the gas to visit another location if I care that much about having mcalisters read more

Horrific experience! Would give Zero stars if it was an option. Visited this location yesterday since kids eat free on Tuesdays. They were extremely busy and couldn't keep up. Tables were dirty. Bathrooms were filthy. The cashier "Lauren" (this was the name on my receipt, but couldn't confirm since no one was wearing a name tag) was extremely rude and unprofessional. Rolled her eyes at me several times when I asked questions about the menu. Didn't even tell me my total and threw the pen at me to sign the credit card receipt. Waited over 30 minutes for food and it came out cold. I asked to speak with the manager, but after 10 minute of waiting, I just left. I think she was too busy yelling and screaming at the cooks. I'm planning to take this complaint to corporate, but wanted to warn everyone on yelp first. Next time I want Mcallisters, I will be going to arboretum or Matthews, where I've always had a pleasant experience! read more

YOU GUYS. GET READY TO SIP THIS TEA WITH ME (and not their tea because I almost threw up after drinking it). The only reason they're getting one star is because I can't give them ZERO. I came in to originally order just a sweet tea after having been at the water park all day and dying of thirst. When I got there, I decided to get a Caesar salad as well (BIG MISTAKE). I waited for this salad for 45 MINUTES. When I went up to the counter to ask about this salad that apparently they were still growing, the employees ignored and avoided eye contact with me for another 5 minutes. THEN, after someone finally acknowledged me and I told them the situation, they went over to the counter, grabbed a salad that had been sitting there for over 20 minutes and gave it to me. No, "sorry for your wait", no anything. Worst customer service and wait I have ever experienced. Why my salad took 45 minutes and sat on the counter for 20 of those, probably because the employees just don't care. I wasn't even hungry to eat the salad when I got it either, because the tea made me feel so sick. While I was waiting I witnessed multiple other people complaining as well about their wait. I am normally a very patient person, but I can say I will NOT being going back. 0 out of 10 would recommend. read more
