Food is terrible. Service was upsetting. Ambience felt off. Went here with my family of 3 wanting some quality food. First of all, the service was very slow. The car in front of us must have been ordering food for the entire country of Africa, because it took FOREVER. I ordered about 5 items and it took about 3 minutes to get through the line. It was insanity. I was so excited to get one of the best foods at the restaurant - McDonald's fries. I got a large. Fried were SOGGY and had NO salt. I also wanted to get my favorite drink; A large caramel frappe with extra whipped cream and crushed oreos. But no, they couldn't make it for me. Now I'm not the one to curse often, but this is BS. Tried to meet up with friends here so that our children could play at the play place and we could catch up. After some heartfelt parking lot hugs, we experienced a first: the door was locked. We walked around to the other side and it was also locked. At 5pm on a Thursday, there was no entry to the restaurant. The drive thru was open but several patrons attempting to enter the restaurant were being turned away. It was disappointing and we ended up going over to another local restaurant that would allow people inside. read more

The staff was full of attitude, gave excuses that they "never saw" my mobile order come through even though I had a receipt and pickup number, I waited an hour for food because they let everyone leave and only had 2 in the back. People were asking for their money back because we had all been there for much longer than we should have. The only reason I didn't ask for a refund was because my food finally did come out. My honest review: I love this McDonalds! Sure it's not the cleanest place, but I feel at home! Walking distance from my work, convenient, and definitely easily affordable. Service is moderately speedy when not overly busy. My usual order is either a large number 5 or a large number 7. Definitely recommend both! DO NOT GO! This location is in complete chaos! We placed an on-line order, went up to the counter to get it and were told they were out of fries! We asked for a refund and was told the manager was not there and they did not when or if he was coming back. Then we were handed a box of chicken nuggets, which we did not order or want and when we asked about the rest of our food the employee just shrugged and said, I don't know anything about that, and then walked away! There were several people at the counter angry because their order was wrong. Then another employee started yelling/screaming at people to get out! Do yourself a favor and drive a little farther to a different McDonalds. I don't know who owns this franchise but they should check in to see what is happening with his/her investment! Now don't get me wrong, McDonalds food is McDonalds food. What set this location apart from any other is Ms. Gwen. Ms. Gwen is a small, elderly black woman who takes care of the dining area and delivers your order to your table. Ms. Gwen was hilarious, helpful, kind, and so sweet. My daughter and I had stopped at this location this past Tuesday for a late lunch and after a few brief minutes had wished we had sat in a more "messy" area just to experience her a little more. This location is about a 40 minute drive from my home, but I promise that as long as Ms. Gwen is there, we will stop when we are in the area. Every McDonald's could raise their profits ten-fold if they all had a Ms. Gwen. read more

The Playplace at Colerain ave has been closed for weeks for remodeling so I have been taking my grandkids to the Northgate McDonald's. Whenever we go there are too many kids on the equipment and 90% of them don't have parents watching them the kids are either barefoot or wearing shoes I buy my grand kids socks to obey the rules but nobody seems to care.first time there someone stepped on my grand daughters hand when she was climbing up ahe was crying so her brother went to help her and another older kid pushed him into the wall and split his lip. The manager wasn't concerned and I had to ask 3 times for a bag of ice. Wile he was bleeding Nobody seemed concerned. Worst McDonald's in the tri state! Their website claims they are open 24 hours but that is a blatant lie, they supposedly are closed from 2:30am until 4:00am because their system shuts down. But it's strang no matter what time of night you stop at the McDonald's at 42 and 275 in Sharonville it's never closes. I stopped at Northgate loction this morning at 4:15am still not open for business that's the second time this week for the same situation.
