A little bit overhyped for me! Everyone raves about this place, the chicken is pretty good but nothing crazy. The Texas Toast is fabulous though, that's a go getter. Their Canes sauce is also pretty darn good on everything. That's also fine to charge extra for water cups, but not if the water is coming out pink with koolaid. Please fix! I will admit it...I LOVE chicken fingers and had made my way to Cane's Chicken Fingers on Colerain. My wife and I had been visiting this location for a decent amount of time, ever since they had first opened. The chicken fingers were a good size, fresh, crispy and delicious back then. Unfortunately, they have changed quite a bit since that time, and not for the better. We ordered The Box Combo which comes with fries, coleslaw, Texas toast and a drink - (lemonade for us), via the drive thru. The service was fast and somewhat friendly, as the woman behind the window repeated our order (very accurately), and took our payment. We arrived home with our food and saw what our brief wait had earned us. The chicken fingers were extremely small - as if they were from the Kid's Meal. The crinkle cut French fries were soggy, cold and sparse. The Texas toast was the only part of the meal which was enjoyable. The service is good, the people are friendly - for the most part. However if you want chicken fingers with good size and flavor, I encourage you to go elsewhere. read more

I got this for free on Teacher APpreciation day, the staff and service were incredible - super friendly, VERY quick, and the food was fresh. I subbed the fries in the combo for an extra thing of coleslaw, thinking I'd like it better. Here's the thing. Turns out, I don't really like Raising Canes. I had never had it before, and despite how awesome the staff was I found the food to be really lackluster. The chicken was greasy and didnt have any particular flavor, the coleslaw dressing was super heavy (though the veggies were crisp and fresh), and it just didn't at all match what I would want. If I'm going to eat fried food it better taste INCREDIBLE. And it really didn't. The texas toast though? Incredible. Get yourself some of that. 2 stars, one for the toast, one for the service read more

Randomly popped in here on my way to Jungle Jim's. A little detour for a quick bite so I didn't buy everything when I was hungry in the largest grocery store ever. Haha! It was a good quick fix. I like that this is literally all they focus on--chicken. It's hard to mess anything up when that's your primary focus. Their "cane sauce" is yummy too. Mehh, Canes is OK as far as food goes, I mean it's only chicken fingers, one type of sauce... really only one type of sauce why? They need several types to choose from such as BBQ, Sweet and Sour, Chipotle, just something else. Not sure how they stay in business with Chick-fil-A right down the street. This location opened up recently and I've been hearing lots of people talk about it so . . . I decided to give it a try. I was skeptical about it because when I asked what they served the only answer given was chicken tenders. Seemed like too simple to be good. I mean, everyone serve chicken tenders. It's like the most generic offering at most places. My family and I arrived for lunch on a Sunday. The drive thru was much busier than the inside. You enter through the back of the restaurant and make your way to the front to order. And as I had been told; chicken tenders are the only option. Everything is listed in a combo that includes a drink, fries, a piece of bread and coleslaw. So the real question is how many chicken tenders do you want. We ordered and got our food quickly. The chicken was extremely hot while the fries were not. The tenders were smaller than pictured but I've come to expect that. They give you mountains of fries with every combo. And it seemed odd to get fries and a piece of bread but I guess this isn't the place to eat if you are avoiding carbs. The chicken is good. The sauce is what every raves about and reminds of a mayo/ketchup based sauce with seasoning salt and pepper in it. I think people would eat just about anything dipped in it. I didn't care for the fries and the cole slaw was ok. Overall, I think we will return occasionally but it is quite expensive for what you get and the lack of menu options isn't appealing to me. It was better than I anticipated but not sure it deserves the hype that I've been hearing. read more

From the moment one walks in the door, you are greeted by the friendly workers who honestly go above and beyond to make your visit extraordinary. They are constantly cleaning the tables and walking around asking how the food tastes which really blows their competitors out of the water! The food is always prepared fresh and hot, the menu is simple and that's how it always should be at fast food restaurants. We pull up at 1:45 and are told they are not serving anything from 1-3. The woman had a nasty attitude as well. My wife and I just tried it for the first time for carryout.We each purchased the box combo which consisted of 4 chicken fingers,fries,texas toast,cole slaw,and a beverage of your choice.The chicken was very good,crispy and very moist.The fries were done just the way like,not overcooked,with plenty provided.The texas toast was also good,fresh and soft.The sauce was delicious,not overbearing.The only thing average was the cole slaw,just needed to be sweeter,with more flavor.My wife,who is not the biggest chicken fan,also loved it,and it will now be included in our once a week carryout destination.I thought for $8 it was a good deal which offered plenty of food. read more

This place is so unprofessional. The cashier repeated the order once I got to the window. I told her that is not what I ordered. She corrected it, but once I got my receipt I was still charged for something I didn't order. Once I got my food I said something to them only for them to act like it was a joke and I was making a big deal out of nothing. This bland as food is not worth the irritation and frustration.
