I've stopped at this location I don't know how many times on trips up and down the state. The only reason anyone stops here is for convenience. We know we don't stop here for an over the top 5 star restaurant experience, but we should be able to expect hot food, a friendly experience and safely prepared food. As an establishment which very obviously is serving patrons who are travelers coming from all areas of the state and beyond, you would think they would employ some more COVID prevention tactics. My review is for my visit in May, which was still peak pandemic season, and not one employee was wearing a mask or gloves. This was so shocking and concerning I ended up tossing my food in the trash rather than eat it because it felt so incredibly unsafe. read more

It's all my fault smh... I left my lunch on the table at home. So I went to McDonald's and got a burger with extra onions, fries and a Dr. Pepper. I received a burger with ketchup and extra pickles, warm fries and Coca Cola. They weren't busy sooooooo wtf ? My best guess is that Dr. Pepper and the rest of my ingredients that usually come on the burger were all on their 15 min break. read more

I'm not an In N Out fan so this McDonald's is one we stop at once a year. Given the competition, In N Out, is directly across the street and their Yelp review is averaging 4 stars - you'd think management would try harder. But, no, instead of a fresh Filet-O-Fish I am eating a fish patty that is hard, as if it were microwaved too many times. Maybe the issue is the lack of human interaction and therefore responsibility to the customer (you order from a kiosk) or that the "restaurant" is tied to an AM PM, but whatever it is - McDonald's should really figure it out before they're made obsolete altogether. read more

If I could give this place .5 star Or no stars I would. Young lady (Enriques lady... she was wearing a black jacket with "Enriques" written on the left side of the jacket) taking my order was rude. After each item I ordered she would rudely say "anything else". Just for her to miss items. Once I paid & got the receipt I saw that she didn't charge me for an item. I told the young ladies at the 2nd window & they said since she didn't charge me that they couldn't give it to me... I wasn't asking for free food. I said can you just charge me. They said no. "We don't charge at this window" & we would have to go back around to place the order. "There's a whole line before you that are waiting" I checked my bag & I was missing the apple slices, told them "I'm missing my apple slices & I was charged for that" they took what felt like 5 minutes to give me apple slices. This McDonald's is a pit spot right off highway 5. People are coming from different places, we have long drives ahead of us. & to come to a fast food spot for us to be talked to rudely. Not cool. Double check your orders before leave the place. I ordered hamburger kid's meal in two separate occasions. The meals were lukewarm and prepared sloppily both times. They also missed apple slices. The Micky D's nearby Harris's Ranch does a much better job if you are look for another one nearby. read more

I'm in the marines and we stopped there on our way back from the field and we had 45mins to eat. I ordered and paid through the machine and waited In the entire time of that 45mins I asked multiple times about my order and they just never made it read more

The service is beyond terrible. I went inside and at 8 PM on a Sunday I stood in line behind 3 people. When I got to the cashier he randomly told me that it was now closed and I would have to go outside through the drive through. After explaining I just wanted to go, the cashier would have none of it and promptly walked away. I went through the drive through and it took a good 15-20 minutes of being in line. It felt like a majority of that time was spent just waiting for someone to acknowledge me on the speaker. At some point I thought either the speaker was broken or they were also randomly closing the drive thru. The food was ok but it is 2022 after all. The service may be awful but be thankful they showed up to work on a Sunday night, I guess? read more

I wish I wasn't about to leave such a bad review, but this was a really bad experience. I've never had such a bad experience at a McDonalds and will never be back. The app said 2-5 min wait but we waited 20 min. The 3 orders in front of me were not done properly (missing items) and the person running the front kept telling people tough, they have to wait all over again. When it was my turn, and they didn't give me the McChicken I ordered, the lady kept telling me it was in there. I showed her it wasn't and she kept saying it was until another working walked up and handed me a McChicken. I got to my car, opened the McChicken and it was completely wrong- not what I ordered! read more

Horrible service! They actually handed a cheeseburger to the guest next to me without a meat patty in it. He came back & had to ask for the burger he already ordered. And my coffee was atrocious- couldn't get the order right - asked them to fix it & took forever... They never even fixed my husbands coffee... The visit was frustrating, long, & very impersonal. No ownership /sense of pride in their work on the part of the employees either. I asked the Arco last to refill the toilet paper in the bathroom because they share the building with McDonalds & they wouldn't. And if you've ever been a woman who's already used the bathroom only to find out there's no toilet paper when you reach for it, you know how devastating that can be. Bottom line - find another Macdonald's/gas station to stop at!! read more

This McDonald's sucks We order some some food and the drinks and the eggs was not cooked right the coffees were strong and didn't even have the Carmel or vanilla taste. The chicken was dry and service was terrible. The biscuits were not even hot. The pancakes were weirdly moist and then smoothie was mostly chuck of fruit. read more

Check your orders before you leave because they gave me the rong sauce I asked for buffalo and they gave me honey mustard I wasn't going to be to hard on them for that because it's possible they didn't hear me right but I asked for a plane mc chicken and they gave it to me with all the topping but there was nothing super bad I guess it was alright average McDonald's read more

Crazy how often do you see a McDonalds being rated 5 stars (other than when they actually have fresh french fries! Because they're the best!) but it's mainly for convenience. Anyway, this is a great stop when traveling on interstate 5. They have a gas station with almost any of everything you need when on a long trip, clean restrooms, plenty of parking. read more

I only come because of a break stop on the megabus to and from NorCal and SoCal. This is actually something I look forward to! I try to be good at not eating McDonald's so I would treat myself only on road trips! I know it's unhealthy but I love the taste of most McDonalds items! So here's what I've ordered so far on various trips here: DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER - $1.50 My go to option! It's so cheap (most places are only $1 but that's fine) and it's yummy! Why is it tummy? It has two of everything: cheese and beef parties so you don't just taste the buns! It's greasy tasting and therefore not dry. JALEPENO MCDOUBLE This is a new item on thier dollar value menu (it wasn't a dollar). Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the word "double" in the name mean I get 2 beef parties? Cuz I only have one. I mean, I got plenty of jalapeños! But just one beef party and NO cheese :(. Aw poop oh well. At least I know not to get this next time :). FRENCH FRIES Oh we all know how wonderful thier french fries are! Sure it doesn't so well and I'll hate myself later but sometimes it's worth it ;) HOLIDAY PIE - $0.70 I got really excited seeing this ad! I mean, it's filled with custard and topped with sprankles!!! It wasn't amazing in taste but for $0.70 at McDonalds, it's pretty awesome! Too bad it was a limited edition. right now they have the peaches n cream flavor which they unfortunately ran out of :( BACON CLUBHOUSE BURGER I was ready to order my usual double cheeseburger until I saw the as to this burger; white cheddar?! SPECIAL SAUCE USED IN BIG MAC?! Sold! Sure there's apple smoked bacon but I never expect bacon at any fast food chain to be any good. So it actually took a long time to get my burger. I'm no sure why but I see everyone else get thier order including the bus driver, who is usually the last person to order. I started to become impatient because undone wanna be THAT guy who is he last to get back on the bus! I never seen this manager before but he is definitely a hustler! He is cracking the whip ok his employees with this rush of customers from the megabus! I wouldn't want to become impatient but I was seriously afraid of missing the bus! I can tell the manager was getting upset at who we've was making the burger for me and the other workers were very apologetic. I grabbed it and ran for my bus! Haha it didn't leave! Sitting down on my seat on the bus I reached for my burger and found an order of fries! How nice of the manager to compensate! Opening the greasy cardboard box my burger was in I was impressed! I knew it was made to order and took a big bite into it! WOW! This burger was amazing! I tasted the crustiness of the bacon! I know it's advertised as thick cut but it tasted more like thin and crispy--just how I like it! I see 2 sliced of white cheddar and a lot of that special sauce is oozing out! Woo hoo! Yeah I know I'm a sauce person! Oh and the artisan rolls....such perfectly shiny buns! Oh man I definitely got my money's worth on this burger (about $5?). I guess you can say this was worth the wait...I really hope the workers didn't get yelled at. I mean I know the manager wants customers to have a great experience here, and I can tell He's a hard worker! Again, this McDonalds is the one thing I look forward to on this 6 hour bus ride. Came here on our way to San José, this was by far the WORST experience at any McDonalds EVER!! The service was terribly slow, terrible customer service and we were given the wrong order! By the time we realized it was already too late to go back! The young lady at the drive through had very little motivation and desire to be there! I definitely do not recommend coming here (go to IN N OUT or Carl's Jr. Instead) I will not be coming back!! read more

there's a reason why they have a smoothie promotion now - McDonalds is simply charging customers a little less and giving less in the smoothies as well. These cups are nowhere near full! This McDonalds is conveniently located on a pretty deserted highway, but that is the sole good thing about it. read more

Restaurant is situated on a tiny lot in a very busy intersection. Although the staff know how to clear the lines one may have a serious attitude problem. I ordered 5 hash browns and saw that they put down 5 sausage mcmuffin with egg sandwiches. When I called and said hello via the intercom to make the correction, the women rudely answered, "WHAT!" I was flabberghasted! That's not customer service and that is not how you treat and answer a customer!!! read more

Bro when I say this place sucks, this shit sucks. The workers are lazy asf. They were standing there doing nothing and when we went to order they said to use the kiosk even though she was standing there the whole time. They also were very rude when handing food and they gossiped the whole time, not to mention the food was reheated and you can tell it was sitting there for a minute. read more

Okay I understand the McDonalds brand is going down, but can you at least try to make this look like a reasonable fast food "restaurant". The line at In-N-Out was out the door and it doesn't look like we can get seatings. So plan B is McDonald's. Man, what a bad plan. The 1/4 Pounder should be called the 1/8 Pounder because that how razor thin the patty was. That's a corporate issue. But this store is filthy. Trash bins were all overflowed and the soda station had emptied straw wrappers everywhere. It's either staffing issue or poorly trained staff. read more

The worst McDonald's in California. First i ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and got 2 spicey chicken sandwiches. Got my replacement sandwiches and they were to hot to eat and now i know why. After they cooled off a little i took a bite and you guessed it. Both has that crispy burnt flavor. You can't get rid of that taste once its in your mouth and i had already left. Burnt chicken no bueno. At least i had some cold saltless fries. I would have been dine if the best fries in the world would have been ok They weren't. You suck Kettleman City McDonald's read more

This location sucks ! We asked for a freshly cooked fries and gave us a cold fries and when we asked the chubby lady to make us one she took our bag with our order and put her hands inside the McDonald's bag and took the old fries . She should have asked us to throw it we have other foods inside they don't have covid protocol . Disgusting ! read more

We usually stop in Kettleman to stretch our legs and take a break. This McDonald's is next to the doggie park. Large restrooms in a building separate from the restaurant. The hubby said the Men's restroom had just been cleaned. All we wanted was a sweet tea this visit so we went through the drive thru. And we waited and we waited. For several minutes and there were no cars moving. Finally they took our order and it went fast from there. No idea why that one vehicle was at the speaker so long. read more

They say they're open until 11, even on the McDonald's app, and their lights are on, but they stop taking orders quite a bit before that (I was there before 10:30 and was told they were closed). I wish they would change their posted hours to match their actual hours... sigh. read more

Ordered the $1 fries and $1 any drink on the app. When I came to the window to my surprise they charged me $6! I explained that the totals were not correct - the agent literally looked at me and shrugged. WTF. She got her manager and then she just said - nothing we can do. Terrible. read more

Seems poorly run. The touch screen didn't allow me to pay. The fountain machines had no ice. The registers at the counter were down. The dining area was closed. Food was slow to arrive even though I was the only person waiting in the dining room. read more

Let me take you back to about noon on Sunday when I stopped in the middle of my long road trip to fill up my car with gas, use the lady's room, and grab a bite to eat. Everything was going okay, I got gas and the restroom thankfully did not have a line (separate building near at the back of the parking lot near the drive-through entrance), but then I hopped in the drive-through line. Now, everything was normal for a busy lunch rush (long wait time), but when I got up to the menu to order everything went downhill. The digital screen that flipped between the menu and the current order was stuck on just a white screen with the previous person's order so my interaction with the girl taking my order went as follows: Employee: "Order when you are ready." Me: "I would love to, but the screen isn't showing the menu, all I see is a white screen and the previous person's order." Employee: "One moment.... Okay, the menu should be up!" Me: "Unfortunately there is no change on this end, I still don't see the menu." Employee: "It's automatic, the menu should be showing. All of the previous orders have been saved and sent to the kitchen." Me: "Well, I still don't see the menu, just a white screen with the previous person's order." Employee: "That's because you haven't started your order! Now, what would you like to order?" Me: "I don't know, I can't see the menu." Employee: "Are you in lane two?" Me: "I don't know, the one closest to the building." Employee: "It looks like the menu is up at that screen." Me: "Well, out here it's a white screen with the last person's order on it." Employee: "There's nothing we can do! It's automatic, and the menu should be up! What do you want to order?!" Me: [starting to tear up] "I don't know since I can't see the menu." Employee: "Ma'am! We have never had problems with these screens, and the previous guest did not have this issue! You are holding up the line! What are you interested in ordering?!" Me: [trying not to sound like I'm crying from stress] "Nothing now! I'm just going to drive through." [as I roll up the window] "Fuck this." I admit that should not have cussed, but I was frustrated, hungry, and trying to get to my destination by a certain time. Customer service at this location is definitely lacking, as I felt like I was being accused of lying and trying to hold up the line for no reason when I just couldn't see the menu! I was desperately trying to pull up a menu on my phone but my reception was terrible and it refused to load. In the end, I left crying and hungry. read more

I ordered the kids two Happy meals and asked if it was extra for milk or orange juice. I was told no for the milk but yes for the orange juice. I proceeded to purchase the happy meals only to find out I did pay extra for the milk. I then switched them over the orange juice with no problem. The reason I'm giving this place one star is because the kids said the cheese burgers tasted fishy so I don't know if they used the same tongs to get out the burger and fish sandwich. One of the kids is allergic to fish so I quickly gave him allergy medicine. Two of us adults tasted the dry cheese burgers and they indeed taste fishy. The fries were cold. One of the happy meal boxes came smashed below like it could have been dropped (who knows if it was). We used a promotion of buy one get one free but that doesn't mean the food or the boxes should come the way they did. The kids collect these boxes and one of the boxes had grease all over the inside so I don't know if it was reused or what. Super disappointing and we ended up throwing out the food! What a waste of money!!! On that note I should've probably read the reviews before buying anything at this McDonald's.... Avoid at all cost. Go somewhere else. There are plenty of other restaurants to eat at within walking distance. Oh and the kids wanted me to say one of the toy seals was ripped, so there it is. Avoid this McDonald's at all cost! read more

Holy cow! We usually always stop here on our way through from SoCal to NorCal. This time was just awful. Asked for no lettuce. Got a spicy mc chicken with some lettuce left on it after they lazily scooped it off and gave it to me. Mc double ketchup only had the ketchup just sprayed on it. Rude over the mic in the drive thru. All I have to say this is the last time my family or friends will eat at this place when we pass through. Go to the in n out next door. Well worth it. read more

We drove up and the lady at the speak monitor yelled at us saying "hello" in aggressive tone and they were all rude and also I asked them to put extra sauce on my spicy crispy chicken sandwich and they smothered the chicken and bread in sauce, I couldn't even eat my sandwich without the chicken slipping out of the buns. read more

Across the road we were able to park our long trailer on a quiet street, and sit inside for huge carne asada and chicken burrito. The gigantic mural of Mexico had me mesmerized as I waited to order. Surprisingly our burritos were served up quickly. They got my wife's order right, it's really complex, "please, not spicy!" The guy making our burritos even confirmed not spicy! What luck!! Overall, I'm rating their burrito 11/10 since it was huge and you get an extra point for being good roadside food.
