I've stopped at this location I don't know how many times on trips up and down the state. The only reason anyone stops here is for convenience. We know we don't stop here for an over the top 5 star restaurant experience, but we should be able to expect hot food, a friendly experience and safely prepared food. As an establishment which very obviously is serving patrons who are travelers coming from all areas of the state and beyond, you would think they would employ some more COVID prevention tactics. My review is for my visit in May, which was still peak pandemic season, and not one employee was wearing a mask or gloves. I'm not an In N Out fan so this McDonald's is one we stop at once a year. Given the competition, In N Out, is directly across the street and their Yelp review is averaging 4 stars - you'd think management would try harder. But, no, instead of a fresh Filet-O-Fish I am eating a fish patty that is hard, as if it were microwaved too many times. Maybe the issue is the lack of human interaction and therefore responsibility to the customer (you order from a kiosk) or that the "restaurant" is tied to an AM PM, but whatever it is - McDonald's should really figure it out before they're made obsolete altogether. read more

If I could give this place .5 star Or no stars I would. Young lady (Enriques lady... she was wearing a black jacket with "Enriques" written on the left side of the jacket) taking my order was rude. After each item I ordered she would rudely say "anything else". Just for her to miss items. Once I paid & got the receipt I saw that she didn't charge me for an item. I told the young ladies at the 2nd window & they said since she didn't charge me that they couldn't give it to me... I wasn't asking for free food. I said can you just charge me. They said no. The service is beyond terrible. I went inside and at 8 PM on a Sunday I stood in line behind 3 people. When I got to the cashier he randomly told me that it was now closed and I would have to go outside through the drive through. After explaining I just wanted to go, the cashier would have none of it and promptly walked away. I went through the drive through and it took a good 15-20 minutes of being in line. It felt like a majority of that time was spent just waiting for someone to acknowledge me on the speaker. The app said 2-5 min wait but we waited 20 min. No ownership /sense of pride in their work on the part of the employees either. This McDonald's sucks We order some some food and the drinks and the eggs was not cooked right the coffees were strong and didn't even have the Carmel or vanilla taste. Crazy how often do you see a McDonalds being rated 5 stars (other than when they actually have fresh french fries! Because they're the best!) but it's mainly for convenience. I'm no sure why but I see everyone else get thier order including the bus driver, who is usually the last person to order. I started to become impatient because undone wanna be THAT guy who is he last to get back on the bus! I never seen this manager before but he is definitely a hustler! He is cracking the whip ok his employees with this rush of customers from the megabus! I wouldn't want to become impatient but I was seriously afraid of missing the bus! I can tell the manager was getting upset at who we've was making the burger for me and the other workers were very apologetic. I grabbed it and ran for my bus! Haha it didn't leave! I know it's advertised as thick cut but it tasted more like thin and crispy--just how I like it! I see 2 sliced of white cheddar and a lot of that special sauce is oozing out! Woo hoo! Let me take you back to about noon on Sunday when I stopped in the middle of my long road trip to fill up my car with gas, use the lady's room, and grab a bite to eat. Everything was going okay, I got gas and the restroom thankfully did not have a line (separate building near at the back of the parking lot near the drive-through entrance), but then I hopped in the drive-through line. Now, everything was normal for a busy lunch rush (long wait time), but when I got up to the menu to order everything went downhill. The digital screen that flipped between the menu and the current order was stuck on just a white screen with the previous person's order so my interaction with the girl taking my order went as follows: Employee: "Order when you are ready." Me: "I would love to, but the screen isn't showing the menu, all I see is a white screen and the previous person's order." Employee: "One moment.... Okay, the menu should be up!" Me: "Unfortunately there is no change on this end, I still don't see the menu." Employee: "It's automatic, the menu should be showing. All of the previous orders have been saved and sent to the kitchen." Me: "Well, I still don't see the menu, just a white screen with the previous person's order." Employee: "That's because you haven't started your order! Now, what would you like to order?" Me: "I don't know, I can't see the menu." Employee: "Are you in lane two?" Me: "I don't know, the one closest to the building." Employee: "It looks like the menu is up at that screen." Me: "Well, out here it's a white screen with the last person's order on it." Employee: "There's nothing we can do! It's automatic, and the menu should be up! What do you want to order?!" Me: [starting to tear up] "I don't know since I can't see the menu." Employee: "Ma'am! We have never had problems with these screens, and the previous guest did not have this issue! You are holding up the line! What are you interested in ordering?!" Me: [trying not to sound like I'm crying from stress] "Nothing now! I'm just going to drive through." [as I roll up the window] "Fuck this." I admit that should not have cussed, but I was frustrated, hungry, and trying to get to my destination by a certain time. Customer service at this location is definitely lacking, as I felt like I was being accused of lying and trying to hold up the line for no reason when I just couldn't see the menu! I was desperately trying to pull up a menu on my phone but my reception was terrible and it refused to load. In the end, I left crying and hungry. read more

I ordered the kids two Happy meals and asked if it was extra for milk or orange juice. I was told no for the milk but yes for the orange juice. I proceeded to purchase the happy meals only to find out I did pay extra for the milk. I then switched them over the orange juice with no problem. The reason I'm giving this place one star is because the kids said the cheese burgers tasted fishy so I don't know if they used the same tongs to get out the burger and fish sandwich. One of the kids is allergic to fish so I quickly gave him allergy medicine. Two of us adults tasted the dry cheese burgers and they indeed taste fishy. The fries were cold. One of the happy meal boxes came smashed below like it could have been dropped (who knows if it was). We used a promotion of buy one get one free but that doesn't mean the food or the boxes should come the way they did. The kids collect these boxes and one of the boxes had grease all over the inside so I don't know if it was reused or what. Super disappointing and we ended up throwing out the food! What a waste of money!!! On that note I should've probably read the reviews before buying anything at this McDonald's.... Avoid at all cost. Go somewhere else. There are plenty of other restaurants to eat at within walking distance. Oh and the kids wanted me to say one of the toy seals was ripped, so there it is.
