Worst customer service I've ever had at any McDonalds. Went through the drive thru with my wife and son and daughter in law at 3pm on Sunday, November 18. The entire crew was slow, rude, and incredibly non caring. We couldn't order "value meals" unless we wanted iced tea because they said "the soda machine was broken" SERIOUSLY?! You have one freaking soda machine in a big ass newly remodeled McDonalds?! Absolutely no sense of urgency, took 8 freaking minutes to get food for 4 people and a toddler. They just walked away from the window after handing us a Happy Meal, and said nothing like "sorry, we're getting the rest, etc". The manager came back about 2-3 minutes later, gave us one bag and walked away, then another female employee came about 2 minutes later with the last bag. Honestly, I use to LOVE this McDonald's. I use to want to tip their workers 10$ every time I came (around 10:30-11 pm after work). Ever since the remodel that place honestly is one of the worst McDonald's and I'm just sad that it's the only one near my house. Before Remodel: 2 Double cheeseburger with extra onion add Big Mac sauce. McChicken extra mayo. Everything was perfect hot meat every single freaking time. Extras always right. After remodel: not even ketchup or mustard on my burger. Charge for adding Big Mac sauce and don't even add it. Luke warm meat with room temp buns. It's honestly sad the lack of care. Unfortunately I cannot give even one star to this location. Today, 4/29/2020, at approximately 8:35am I was treated absolutely unfairly and discriminated due to my race. Not by the cashier who was kind, nor by the young lady preparing food yelling "Good morning, welcome to Mc Donald's" but by the very rude, very upset and very prejudice manager named Mary. I would state her last name, however she denied it to me. I am an essential worker (truck driver) excited that I found parking and ready to have the much anticipated cup of coffee... only to be treated like a second class citizen. This unacceptable behavior was given to me simply because I only had a $100 bill to make my purchase. There is no signage stating nothing over $20. Had that been posted, I would have understood and walked out. Instead I was looked up and down by Mary and she raised her voice to me upset because I had a large bill. She tried to discourage me by saying I have to give you your change in all 5's of which I answered, okay. Her response was OH WOW! (very emphatically). As she started to walk away supposedly to do so, she stated "I have to go to the safe, it's gonna be a few minutes",( in a scolding manner) at that moment I felt she is going to taint my food. I then told her, forget it. I asked her name and stated that I would YELP this situation. She appeared to not care. I do remember asking why are you yelling at me? Regardless of what she thinks of Mexican, dirty boot wearing, blue collared guys like me...I'm a tax paying, law abiding US citizen (born and raised in SD) with 30 plus years of customer service experience. Lesson number one Mary, LEAD BY EXAMPLE! Your staff is observing you and your tactics. Lesson number two, don't assume ALL people who look a certain way, are what you think. If you are stressed out due to COVID-19 so am I and millions of others. That doesn't give you the liberty to discriminate other people who are simply trying to get a cup of coffee to start their day. I recommend that if you need more lessons, follow up with HR and inquire about receiving some professional managerial assistance. Anger management wouldn't do harm either. every time including today ,this store gets my order wrong. i clarified my order 3 times twice to the guy that took the drive through order and once at the pickup window both assured me order was right ever thing was wrong and cold . As i try to call them nobody answers the phone and after so many rings it automatically hangs up. after 15 times being hung up on tells me they really do not care. $30 dollars wasted .I am finding it hard to even give them one star. read more

Once again I gave in to going back here after a previous experience that left me upset. I feel everyone deserves a 2nd chance. I order my food and when I get home what do you know I got the wrong order. So I head back and have to wait in long line again because they are remodeling so I can't walk in. I originally asked for my burger with no ketchup and when I went back I asked again for no ketchup. Nope they got it wrong again. They were also very rude about getting the fillet o fish back. I'm rating mainly off their ability to make sweet tea with lemon. It's slightly too sweet and the ice ratio is a bit much too but after a few minutes it evens out. Oh and the drive through people are consistently nice. read more

I get a spicy fried chicken patty that is so spicy I can't eat it I did get my catch-up but I didn't get my Mc double I called three times they are open and they do not answer their phone now the line is so long I cannot wait to get a sandwich that I could eat. Probably the WORST Mcdonald's I have ever been to. ever. Not only are they rude in the drive thru, never not one time have I got anything hot or fresh, and 9 times out of 10 its wrong. As was last night, I went thru the drive thru, the girl simply took the order, didn't ask if it was correct and then left me sitting there. when I asked if I should move forward, I got a "GO AHEAD" Then. when I got up there the order was of course wrong and when I told them the correct order which was an easy fix, changing 2 soda to waters, it was apparently a huge ordeal. A rather large manager kept pacing the window, staring. Got the food home, The big mac had 14 lbs. of onions on it as well as a head of lettuce and was cold. The very easy hamburgers, onions and nothing else. I understand its "Mcdonald's" food, but its easy to make and its not hard to serve. Busy or not. To top it off we were all up last night with stomach issues. I appreciate they are working during a tough time, but your getting paid like 15 dollars an hour, its a billion dollar company serve food that's edible and try to be pleasant, especially when a big mac and fries its literally 10 dollars. Everytime I order from this store something's half assed. This time it was the cinnamon cookie latte completely bland like a coffee black . I guess they said "fuck the cinnamon cookie you get what you get " . So now I'm in Starbucks line to accommodate for their lack there of and contemplating taking this back and getting my money back . This location is getting worse by the visit. My last 2 visits were terrible. I will definitely not return. Last time I went just for a frappe. It was the wrong flavor. I told the enployee it wasn't the one I ordered and her response was, " You confirmed the order on the screen" I told her they didn't ring my order up when I was at the menu and didn't give me a total. She huffed and puffed because she had to make my order correct and didn't apologize. Today I ordered a double cheeseburger, the ketchup and mustard was on the OUTSIDE of the bun, the meat was so cold that it didn't melt the cheese, and the crew that was there is incompetent. I recommend customer service training and employees that will treat the late night hours as if they were your prime business hours. What happened to fast, accurate, and friendly? Went here today and sat down with a friend for lunch. While we were sitting we noticed the employees pretty much bullying one of the newer employees. They were all making fun of him and were not even trying to hide it. I got up and told the person working at the register what they were doing is not nice and we can all hear you. We ordered from door dash one shake and 4 oreo McFlurries when we got are order it had only been 15min.receipt time was 1:53 pm and when i took a picture of them was 2:10pm the ice cream was still frozen but the cups where half way filled we had called to talk to a manager and we explained what was wrong.so we were put on hold but we were still able to hear the conversation through the phone. the manager was talking to another manager she had explained to her what was going on.so the manager had told her that's what happens when they melt. Update: The people here are so freaking friendly that I just can't knock them for a few poor packaging of fries. It's or go to McDonald's and they are always so friendly, quick, and accurate. If I pay for a large fry I expect the box to be full. Instead I got a large fry box with about the amount of a small fry bag. Happens all the time. So over this place. Management, I'd love to hear from you, but I doubt you care enough to read the reviews. I feel the need to update this a bit. The employees here are always beyond fabulous. My biggest complaint is whomever is assembling the food. I can't blame the poor cashier and person that hands me the food. They aren't responsible for what ends up in the bag. read more

My son and I love this McDonald's. Sure, there was that time during the heat wave when part of the ceiling fell down, but that was kinda funny and the staff didn't overreact or cause any problems. To start, this place consistently screw our order up, but this is the last time. This is absolutely THE WORST service at any fast food place I have been. My wife ordered the new Del Qtr Pounder no cheese and I the Bac Habanero no sauce. We get home, hers (even with the extra no cheese label) had cheese and mine had sauce. We head back there to have them fix this and I wait in the car. The place is dead but my wife is still in there for 10 + minutes for them to fix this. My wife gets back to the car and hand me the lightest burger bag I have ever received. I open it up and we have 2 qtr pounder boxes but there is no meat on either sandwich, NO MEAT I TELL YOU. How in the hell do you send a burger out with no meat. This was either gross incompetence or intentional. She goes back in and I can see the flippant attitude fo the manager as they fix this again. I went back in at that point and demanded a refund. When I came in, the staff was unfortunately dealing with unruly young customers, but they handled it well and apologized for the delay. After, my order was taken by Laina and she was very helpful with answering all my questions and making sure our order was taken care of. The store manager came to our table to ensure all orders were correct as well. Not only that, but a third person came in her name was Rachel and she offered to reward us with a dessert for the mishap, that again was not their fault. I was impressed that the restaurant went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. As for the food, I only ordered a McChicken and a McDouble, which tasted great. Wow, what an awful McD's. We just moved around the corner so we decided to try it out. Bad Service - Our order was taken pretty quickly, but then they disappeared and my friend wasn't able to order for a long time while they put my order together. As we were eating, I noticed more people waiting for someone to help them. My french fries were cold. Yuck. My burger wasn't hot though my latte was scalding. Those things are too syrupy-sweet, too. The biggest kicker - everything is behind the counter - ketchup, soda machine, salt. Pair that with the aforementioned lack of service and you have a bigger problem. The bathrooms are locked & require tokens. Play area is small and looks dirty. It's not the maze of tubes & slides of most McD's, a single tube and an attached car. Yep, that's it. The whole place looks pretty run down. I think we'll drive to Santee for our fry fix. UPDATE: We've been back a couple times since (husband wanted to try it, mom was in town and wanted to take the kid) - nothing new to report - no improvements. Cold fries everytime. read more

Wow, what a change. And it's not a good one. After leaving a 5 star rating raving about the place, I've been so disappointed with the last several visits that I feel I HAVE to update my review. They have gone from quick, easy and correct to slow, difficult and a mess. The last 4 times I've gone, they have told me they are "Out" of at least 1 thing I've asked for. "Ice cream, Sprite, Sweet n Sour are examples of the last 3 visit "Outages". I've paid for extra sauces that weren't in the bag (Really? 6 sauces for 40 mcnuggets?!) Missing sandwiches, cookies, and syrup were all ordered and paid for from different trips, but not in the bags when I got home and checked. They've closed (Permanently?) One of the drive thru lanes so they're not even quick anymore - I waited until 6:15 for their "6am" drive thru to open last Monday. I know it's only a McDonald's and I'm not expecting a premier dining experience, but I would at least like to be able to order what they say that they sell and actually have what I paid for in the bag when I leave...Sad..sad..sad... read more

Restrooms at this location have always been very substandard. Poor ventilation combined with either a plumbing/moisture problem and/or inadequate sanitation practices contribute to a constantly foul odor and dismal appearance. The repair and maintenance of the restrooms also lack much to be desired. The quality of food and service have never been an issue, but as I am confident the Company is aware; the ambiance of the customers' experience and impression of the restaurant's sanitation standard is influenced greatly by their impression of the restrooms. There are plumbing fixtures that have clearly been moved/altered, however the aftermath repair work is shoddy at best. Plywood and open plumbing pipe joints are not only unsightly, they are a critical violation of food safety regulations. (Potential pest access and harborage, excessive moisture presence, unacceptable plumbing exposure, porous noncleanable surface, etc) read more
