I actually like to have a McDonald's cheeseburger meal from time to time as it's tasty and consistently prepared. Today was the exception where I waited about 15 minutes for a greasy burger and lukewarm fries. This place needs to improve. read more

Came here for breakfast with my wife, I love the breakfast sandwiches McDonalds offers. At this location though the sandwiches taste stale and even gross. Even worse was that they were served by someone with a really bad attitude at the drive-thru. read more

Food came out great, saw the fellow at the window spit in a drink..... He also tried to charge me .50 for a buffalo sauce, when every other time it was free. Couldn't eat after this experience. Not overly thrilled with the lack of customer service at this specific location. I have small kids so as a treat and mostly due to busy sports schedules we frequent a few McDonald's locations (a couple visits a month) The normal order is two 4 piece happy meals with milk and or apple juice, which is a pretty easy order and shouldn't be easily mistaken. However I don't think I've ever received a picture perfect order here. There always seems to be something missing, an incorrect item, a broken machine, or a bad customer service experience. Good thing the Golden Arches are literally the only fast food spot in town, or the lines would not be the road every weekend. The upside is the location just had a complete makeover and looks good from the street. I may start going in and skipping the drive through so that I can put my hands on every item before leaving and avoid a very unhappy toddler meltdown at home. Came here for first and last time this week. yesterday got a large meal from them to give me the wrong size then came today and they did the same. then when i confront about it today he says that i said medium and told me he heard medium today n yesterday, when i know i said large. McDonalds is consistent with their food- and this establishment delivers classic McD's! What makes it stand out are the PEOPLE! Excellent service. Everyone is exceptionally polite and helpful. People at the ready keeping all the surfaces clean from floor on up. Great to see the employees pitching in to help each other as well. A medical emergency (no us) was hailed discreetly and professionally. Kind, hardworking crew. People - 5 stars Cleanliness - 5 stars But AC was not great on a very hot day. Since I don't go to McDonald's very often, I decided to go this morning. I went to the one in Mystic near my job. There was absolutely no one at the front desk, (employees or customers) so I went to a kiosk to place my order it took me a minute to figure out what I wanted to order and the manager decided to come out to the kiosk and asked me if I needed help because I've been standing there for a long time? So 1)that put me in a bad mood I should have walked out right then 2) I said I wanted to eat in on the kiosk. He bagged everything up called my table number which I thought they were supposed to deliver it to you if you are eating in,? As I was leaving another couple informed me that he was very rude to them when they were ordering at the counter saying that they needed to hurry up because he has other customers....there were no other customers in that store besides that couple and me. My family and I stopped in to get my son a quick bite to eat, we went to d go sit down and my son fell on the floor and hit his head hard enough to get a bump! A little customer service goes a long way and the staff here may need to be told that fact. I used the drive thru and waited at least 3 minutes in dead silence before saying "hello?" and having someone begrudgingly ask what I wanted to order. I only ordered a happy meal for my kid as I wasn't hungry. I stated, 4pc nugget Happy Meal with a GoGurt and apple juice" to which he responded "4 or 6pc?" I said again "4" then he asked "GoGurt or Apples as a side?" I said again "GoGurt" and then he asked "What to drink?" I said again "apple juice." Like, really??? He told me my total, I gave him money and he just handed me back my change and receipt without saying a single word at all. It was hella awkward. It just took me 22min inside with 3 people ahead of me. Thank God we didn't wait in the drive thru because that was INSANE. But the place here was horrible, we went through the drive through and it took about 10-15 minutes to get to the front and by that point I was starving, once we finally got our food the fries were freezing cold, and I ordered a Big Mac, when I looked at it there was cheese when I asked for NONE, There was also little to no special sauce which is what I love about Big Macs overall this place was horrible, though the guy serving us did ask if we wanted a fresh batch which was polite he had sarcastically said "Have a FANTASTIC day" overall the service quality here was only a 10%. I'd been traveling all day and I stopped here because it was late and I wanted something quick to eat before I checked into my hotel. I went inside and they had signs all over the place making a big deal out of how they're cooking the meat for their burgers fresh instead of pre-cooking it and microwaving it the way they used to. Well, they may cook the meat when an order is placed, but the fries were stale, cold, and nasty. I kind of assumed that the entire order would be hot and fresh and I was obviously mistaken. The receipt is so blurry that I can't read anything on it so I couldn't call the restaurant and I contacted the corporate office through their web site. Two days later I haven't heard anything back from the store. Just skip this place, you'll regret it if you make the mistake of eating there. read more
