Been to this location quite a few times before the remodel, ever since it re-opened this place has gone down hill, one time this lady somehow managed to screw up my order 3 times in one sitting, today i went in the drive-thru and bought myself dinner, when i got home i realized that they managed to mess up my order and even forget one of the items listed on the receipt! maybe i should just get jack in the box next time =) read more

I guess there is a reason this place has a low rating. I was in drive thru line for 10minutes only for them to tell me there debit card machine didn't work. Need more training and need a good manners to the customer. I always buy happy meal for my son and i always tell them to not put salt on the fries but the fries is always salty how the kids eat that if to salty!!and everytime i buy something to them there always forgot to put the other order then when i come back for the missing order i go inside and if they give it to you there stearing each other and make a face or laughing on you looks like there's no focus to there job and cant even smile to customer and the drive thru Is so rude and looks like always rushing to give your order to get out there without any questions if need anything else. It is clear that the ladies working this evening aren't even capable of working at McDonald's. Worst customer service I have ever experienced from every girl who had helped me but Tiana was especially rude. I asked for extra ranch when ordering and after noticing one was dropped in my bag I asked for a couple more and was told she would have to charge me for more then 2. She smirked and I drove away then looked in my bag and this troll gave me honey mustard... I actually laughed because it was for my brother but he's pissed. Last night was the second time in as many years that I pulled up to the drive through speaker to find a sign that said cash only. Obviously their system was down, but the upsetting part was because I did not have cash on me I will stuck in line for 15 minutes waiting for other people to get their food. I shouldn't be held hostage because they can't figure out the proper placement of a sign. Given this and other issues with this restaurant that I've had over the past few years I will not be visiting this McDonald's location ever again. There's not room enough to swing around and get out of line until you get to the front where the pay window is. read more

Came here for breakfast on 06/25 at about 6:45am. Had two repeat my order about 3 times and basically yell it, the girl taking my order sounded like she had just rolled out of bed. She couldn't even speak clearly . I get to the window and without even looking at me, the lady working the window tells me my total, and when I finally get my food she gives me it and walks away so fast I don't even get a chance to ask for ketchup. So I sit there waiting for about an entire minute until she finally decides to look my way, I ask her for ketchup and she makes a face, as if annoyed. Again, says nothing, gives me some packs, and quickly walks away. I don't ever like to judge anything based on one experience but I've been here a couple other times on my way to work and it's the same bad experience and the same women working the drive thru. I've been to other McDonald's in Oceanside and none have been this bad. This place is horrible service, you can tell the workers don't want to be there. read more

I am one of the billions that are eating McDonald food. Lately, the quality and service have been worsen. I ordered chicken nugget meal for my daughter, first the nuggets supper dry, must have been sitting for at least 48 hours under the light, second I counted 7 French fries, REALLY. Finally, drive through person needs to attend customer service 101. Rude. Will not try this location again. read more

I don't come to this location often but when I visit they have never gotten my order wrong and that alone deserves 5 stars for a McDonalds. That is unheard of. During the morning rush I was able to get through the drive-thru very quickly. And both employees in both windows greeted me. Again this rarely happens at other locations. You get the disgruntled looking ones who hate their jobs and their faces say it all. I get it, dealing with as many customers that come through here will suck the happiness out of you. It doesn't bother me really but when I see employees like the ones I did this morning I have to commend that. Another thing I noticed is their deals are in clear view of the drive thru. I always hated how they would post the cheaper deals on the windows once you passed the drive thru, maybe it's marketing to get you to buy the expensive meals, but I appreciate this location posting them ahead of time. read more

Just came in for an Oreo mcflurry, ordered with the assistant manager , after paying he turns around and pours the ice cream from the machine into the cup,adds the Oreos and then instead of using the mcflurry mixer he decides its ok to do by hand. Now, the machine is specifically there for the Mcflurry, it mixes in the the Oreos all the way to the bottom and I'm a way makes the ice cream softer , when I ask him why he didn't use the machine he smiles at me and says it doesn't work, I then ask him why he didn't tell me before paying and he starts to laugh at my questioning him and tells me he didn't think it would be a problem because he has sold many like that and that it's the same thing by hand , I continue to tell him what the purpose of the machine and he then laughs and continues to smile while telling me I'm wrong, and if that I have a problem with that he is sorry even though he sees nothing wrong and says while laughing "but ok, of you have a problem with it sorry", how f**king rude! And this is an assistant manager mind you not just a cashier, someone should educate this guy in customer service and about not arguing with the customer when the customer in this case ,is right. What a shame that this grown a ass man can't seem to understand how a customer would feel ripped off after paying for what's supposed to be a mixed Mcflurry and not even bothering to tell me about the out of service machine. Despite the makeover this place continues to lack in the customer service department, even at the window when I come the cashiers just hand you the food without saying anything and turning their back As if to say " here's your slop now get!".
