This is a review of The McDonald's in Randolph, Vermont, right off the exit on 89. This is in no way a review for all of McDonald's or McDonald's food as a whole The Randolph, Vermont McDonald's is The GOAT of all McDonald's. What we say amongst ourselves here in Vermont is, "IYKYK." But now I'm here to tell ALL the rest of you too. Now everyone can know. It only just occurred to me to review this McDonald's online and the reason to review is because this McDonald's is just exceptional. So there is a McDonald's located in an extremely easy-on-easy-off location from 89 in Randolph, VT. It's kind of been carved into a very steep location, so the entry/exit and drive thru and parking lot have some specific rules for entry/exit and one way driving which requires you to pay attention (I'm talking to all you all From Away...get what I'm saying?? This isn't your mediocre McDonald's with super easy driving rules). Basic things about The Randolph McDonald's that sets them securely above/ahead of every other McDonald's I've been to in this country and abroad: EVERY person I've ever interacted with working at The Randolph McDonald's (for years now) has been, basically, awesome. Friendly, upbeat, happy, chatty and doing a great job. Clearly enjoying themselves at their jobs. Which is what we ALL should demand of our work!! My theory is that The Randolph McDonald's hires A LOT of teenagers. Well, I know, for a fact that they hire a lot of local teenagers. Teenagers are great workers/employees/ team members. As the owner/boss you must provide effective, empowering, NON TOXIC management to get the best of out of them. But, (SPOILER ALERT!!!) You need effective, empowering, NON TOXIC management in any workplace to get the best out of your team... Happy employees do a better job. The place is SPOTLESS. Including the bathrooms. I have never gotten my order wrong in any way. Which, if you've ever visited a McDonald's, you know is pretty extraordinary. I don't eat beef, pork or poultry. So my go to McDonald's meal is a Filet 'O Fish with fries and a water or a medium Coke if I feel like I need a hit of sugar and caffeine. However! I never want the cheese that comes on a Filet 'O Fish and, until very recently, I never wanted the Tartare Sauce either. Honestly, it's probably easier to get the Filet 'O Fish entirely "plain" than to get it with Tartare Sauce but no cheese. Whichever way I order it, they always get it right at the Randolph McDonald's . Always. Also?? It's always HOT and fresh and my bun is soft. And the fries! They are always also hot and fresh. I mention these things because it is not "the norm" at other McDonald's. At other McDonald's I order my Filet 'O Fish and then I just eat it the way it comes because it's really not worth it to go inside or circle back around and try to get it remade the way I wanted it. The Randolph, Vermont McDonald's is the only McDonald's I that has never messed my order up. Not once. Far be it for me to recommend any restaurant that is not an independent, chef owned spot. But I also happen to believe McDonald's is not competing with those of us who ARE independent, chef owned and I recommend The Randolph Vermont McDonald's. In a huge world of McDonald's The Randolph, VT McDonald's is The Best. Full Stop. read more

My husband and I went through the drive through, we ordered 2 cheese burgers, 20 piece nuggets, fries and a coke We got it home and realized that the bread was hard and they didn't had the hamburger, all the food was cold. We won't be returning. read more

Sorry to bring this up but this McDonald is the words restaurant ever I ask one the personal to open the bathroom is soon I enter to the bathroom is lake water all over the place I almost fell on the ground. This place let the people to clean stuff inside the restroom men this is not healthy restaurant I'm sorry for this workers but is issue from cleaning I need send someone to this place Hill department employees are really hard workers but the cleaning and take care this place is not ok. The service has been abysmal at best. Especially during the afternoon and evenings. The food is subpar and I usually end up waiting for between 20 to 30 minutes more evenings for "fast food." One day I waited for a little more than an hour for food that was, by all accounts hastily thrown together. read more

Randolph McDonalds just cannot seem to get above subpar in their food. The burgers and chicken always seem to have this taste and texture as if the food was cooked hours prior or simply over cooked. The service however is normally good and the staff tends to have a great attitude. I sincerely wish the Randolph location could just put out good food like the locations in New Hampshire. If you enjoy eating rubbery food and a dining area that looks like a corporate meeting room, then Randolph McDonalds is your place to go. Literally so irritated. I go here literally all the time. Literally ALL the time because I work nights, so I go here on my lunch breaks since I don't have time to make a whole meal working nights. ANYWAYS, most of them are constantly rude. There's a very select few employees that I absolutely adore and they know who they are. Other than those 2-3 employees, the rest fricken suck. They're so rude. Never say thank you. Never say have a good day. Throw my food at me. Well today really made me mad because I asked for no tomatoes. For a reason. I'm pregnant and they make me sick and give me heartburn. Well, I open it up and I have tomatoes. Obviously i can take them off. But the point is what if I was allergic? That's a law suit. People need to pay more attention when they're making food because if I did have an allergy, I would be suing as any normal person would. read more

The manager yelled at me one time to use the kiosk instead of going to the counter like a normal person, and they fuck up the food frequently and mess up orders all the time not a lot of staff and there all children under the age of 18 be better do better don't tell at your customers. read more

Wow. Holy slowness batman. We needed a fast meal on the way home and unfortunately waited more than 10 minutes at the drive through window. There were no customers at the counter and 4 or 5 employees tripping over each other getting nothing done. My lemonade was only 3/4 filled. :( Sorely disappointed with the service. read more

Its a mickey d's people! But this rest stop is super clean and funky decorated. Free wifi. A nice pit stop on your way north or on your way over to Ben and Jerry's. They have cut back on their sizes (but not their prices) so don't be too concerned if you notice that "mommy I shrunk the medium soda"... read more

Not sure what it is about McDonald's but they always forget something in our order. Kinda annoying that I have to check my order before I leave. This is why we don't order out much. Mary, the manager, is such an asset. We ran out of gas near there thinking the gas station next door would be there. However it is under construction. Needed a quick breakfast before work. Ended up waiting at the ordering window for 5 minutes before I finally said "hello?" Someone eventually snapped back that they would be with me momentarily then left her speaker on and I could hear her talking about how annoying pushy customers are. I then ordered a sausage mcgriddle meal without the drink. Waited another 5 minutes at the second window before being handed my, now cold, food. Pulled ahead to find she had given me a plain sausage mcgriddle with nothing on it!! My hash brown was so cold I couldn't eat it.
