I was told I must drink my coffee, inside and not in my car in the parking lot in order to get a refill, due to theft. I've been coming here for years and the staff knows me. I told them that I've been in the car and they said "we know." The manager was not there and they were probably just following his order BUT they could've just given me my usual refill and been done with it, instead of creating an issue. Under no circumstance, is anyone here telling me where to sit, in order to get served. I DO NOT answer to anyone working here. I'm a CUSTOMER and NOT AN EMPLOYEE !!! Seal Beach McDonald's (on PCH by Main) is still my favorite McDonald's! I grew up with McD's and even worked there during High School and College (Company not Franchise stores)! This store has the nicest staff! Food is hot and fresh (for McD's). Coffee is fresh and hot even decaf. Most times when I order decaf in the morning, other places tend to be old and strong! Great and easy place to pick-up or dine in for breakfast. I always use the App and the food is ready quickly. This time, I used the points for the breakfast sandwich and only paid for the coffee! Shout out to the staff here, I saw the boss HUSTLING during the dinner rush and I've been in food service so I gotta give props to the big boss for his work ethic. He was prepping mobile orders, handling the drive thru, and his staff helped serve me with little haste on the dine in side. Every location is different thankfully they sell just the toys (limit 2 per person thankfully) and I snagged 2 I was missing LAST ONE OF EACH! Normally wouldn't spend my time on a review for McDonald's lol but between my joy for these toys and the good work ethic I saw from the staff, yall deserve the positive love so I'll add to it. Some of the worst service i have seen at a McDonald's. The short hispanic manager working today is absolutely atrocious. I've had multiple experiences with her managing and it's always an extremely long wait. She just stands around and barks orders to all the employees and they all look very unmotivated and move very slowly. The manager also marks all the tickets as NOW SERVING so corporate thinks she is handling the orders on time. I will be definitely be talking to corporate about her behavior. She puts the receipts on the stainless steel shelf where the food that's ready to serve goes. I'll never waste my time with this place again. read more

I've had enough of this location. I ordered a McFlurry, and they kept messing up my order. I discovered that they messed up my order by the time I was home. When I called, the manager named Kevin picked up and had an attitude and was laughing like an idiot. The next thing I heard was that fat, rude manager talking to his coworker and saying oh, it wasn't enough Oreos in the McFlurry, haha. When I find a restaurant or fast food place, that has an EXCELLENT MANAGER, I always mention it in my reviews. The SEAL BEACH MCDONALDS has a GREAT manager. Her name is SUSY. SUSY keeps everything moving smoothly, even during really busy times. She's always going 100 miles per hour and she is always overseeing and directing the staff, if needed to be sure that all is good. She will roll up her sleeves and jump in at the drive-up window, when needed. My favorite MEAL is the DOUBLE QUARTER POUNDER with double bacon. It is DELICIOUS. read more
