Other food is good- much better than any fast food outside of Culver-country, but do not miss the custard! (For anyone outside the Midwest, it's yummy, creamy soft-serve ice cream with a flavor of the day- different every day, and concretes which are custard cups with mix-ins (think Heath Bar chunks). Lucky for me my hubby shares with me bc no way could or should I have my own!) I've been in Sheboygan for less than a week, have eaten there twice (with one more time perhaps on the way to the airport).

I always get a mushroom Swiss kids meal, hi-c and vanilla kids scoop with whatever fruit I'm in the mood for, this most recent time being blueberries. If you like blueberry cobbler this is heavenly! The energy of the crew here was fantastic. I even got a compliment which was sweet. I don't come to this location often because I'm not a local but when I am in town and do, I've only had positive experiences, including dine in. And from memory this location specifically always has the best pint options and pint fix-in ratios. Not overwhelming, not underwhelming like my local location where it feels like more toppings than actual ice cream in the pints. My favorite is chocolate covered strawberries!

It is a bit over priced, but that's to be expected. Plus: they sell alcohol. We had a chicken pesto sandwich, cheese curds, chicken tenders, and mozzarella sticks, as well as two strawberry daiquiris. My total came to like 45$ or something like that. But everything was really good, and the portions were really big too. If you're staying here, it's a good place to feed the kids something delicious or to have a drink to pep up. In addition to alcohol, they also serve Starbucks drinks.

Squeakers ($8) are fried cheese curds. I already had them in On the Rocks Bar & Grill, but I just can't get enough of these. This order was prepared much better than the one in the restaurant. It was nicely golden brown on the outside and gooey on the inside. The reason they are called "squeakers" is due to the noise it makes against your teeth when you eat one. They really do squeak. I also found Heinz Marinara Sauce in a cute disposable cup. It paired nicely with the cheese curds in the same way as mozzarella sticks. Rating: 4.5/5 Zesty Cheese Fries ($6) are fries topped with cheese sauce, hot sauce, shredded cheese blend, and jalapenos. The fries could have stayed in the fryer a little longer to get them crispier on the outside so it could hold up to the cheese and hot sauce. As presented, the fries became soggy very fast. However, I loved combined use of cheese sauce with shredded cheese to amp up the cheese flavor. Not sure if hot sauce and jalapenos are both necessary; maybe one or the other. The vinegar from the hot sauce and pickled jalapenos is a little overwhelming. The spicy level was just right though, not too hot. Rating: 3/5

A serious gem of the neighborhood! You gotta love a simple menu, and a menu that offers great food…read moreat even better prices. There is ample parking around the building and it's very accessible from the road. Upon entry there weren't super clear directions about waiting for a host or seating yourself - this is very much a place of regulars so the need probably doesn't often occur to answer this question, although it did happen to us and the visitor in front of us haha. We were eventually greeted by the waitstaff and asked to find a seat. It's a fairly small dining room, maybe 6-8 tables(?) and a couple of horseshoe shaped bars to sit at right amongst the action of the open kitchen. They were quite full with only 1 table open at the time. Having a front row seat to it all was really cool! The menu had really great options without being overwhelming. They even has Sprite Zero so I couldn't have been happier. We ordered a double cheese burger, two sides of fries, and a double cheesesteak burger. This was essentially just a slightly larger and thicker burger. Both were excellent and were able to customise to our heart's delight! The fries were a little under seasoned for my liking, but salt and pepper were available. The ranch wasn't anything special, just premade from a pouch. The special of the day was a burger and cup of soup/chili, and I think we definitely were missing out there. It was super popular in the time we were there and the chili smelled incredible. And considering how hot the day was, it must have been really good for people to keep ordering it. When it came time to close out or check, we realised there was a "cash only" sign on the register. I'm usually really good about seeing these things ahead of time or looking for them on the door. So I apologise if it was posted upon entry, as well, but I did not see any signage for that other than at the register. Thankfully they do have an ATM on site inside if needed. The next time we are in the area we'll be back to try some of these other specials and goodies!
