I've been through hundreds of different McDonald's in my 66 years while on planet earth. 40 minutes stuck in a drive through line is horrific. If you are in a hurry DO NOT go here, PERIOD. Inside service is not much better, there are numerous other fast food establishments all within a quarter mile drive. 500 feet away and you could even go to Dennys, it'd probably be faster. Christmas Eve, I waited for about 5 or so minutes in line before I got up to the speaker box to order. I was immediately met with, "hello, we're closed." It was 8:15pm and there's a sign above the speaker that says they close at 9pm tonight. I told her this and she met me aggressively in tone and volume with a "yea I know and I'm closing right now." There is a line of cars ahead of me waiting for food. Was I who she decided to stop taking orders from? I don't know, but people were waiting at the windows. There are reasons that someone might be getting fast food on a holiday with their child 45 minutes before closing. A little tact goes a long way. Fast food employees wonder why they're looked down on and although I can speak for nobody but myself, for me it truly has nothing to do with the job itself. It's this right here. The apathy, laziness and rude attitudes. Wherever you're going to work, take pride in it. It goes a long way. It'll show, people will notice and you'll feel a whole lot better about life and yourself. Merry Christmas. read more

Updated from 1 star. Amazing Improvement in 2018! We moved here early 2017 and live very close to this McDonalds. Out of convenience we would come through the drive-through often with our children. (Does anyone admit to this?) Anyways, they were so extremely slow so many times we would even go because we wouldn't have the 20 minutes it would take sometimes. Their staff was severely lacking in skills and always short-handed. However, they have hired some of the nicest young people and now they are extremely fast. I can't remember the last time I felt like I was waiting a while in the Drive-Thru or at the counter. Super impressed. Whoever is managing this McDonald's right now is doing a superb job. And the young people you are hiring seem to have character and ethics as they are always friendly and haven't had an order wrong in forever. Way to step it up! read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered a Big Mac, a classic chicken sandwich, large fries and a kids meal. My Big Mac didn't have cheese on it, only the bottom layer had lettuce and there was no sauce on it. My classic chicken sandwich had no sauce on it as well and my large fries and the kids meal fries where nasty tasting and they were cold. I hate the location and I hope they close down or get better management. This is not the first time they messed up my order this bad and it's frustrating. Took my children there almost a year ago and was disgusted with the playground area. There were even ants in there. I went earlier this week hoping there's an improvement...giving it 2nd chance since it's still a new location in Surprise. I was disappointed again. Not only playground area that looks like they need to pressure wash it, but even their bathrooms. I can't trust how clean their food is either after seeing all this. read more

I ordered through the drive thru today at 2:45 the girl taking my order was the rudest person I've ever experienced. She took my order and didn't say anything else so I asked her if she was ready for me to pull forward she replied "go ahead" I said excuse me? Of course, couldn't get out of line so had to inch my way forward until I could finally leave this poorly run franchise. Went to this one on a Friday Night at 5:30. My order was taken and after 35 minutes they called my number. I ate there so they served it on a tray. Both handles had gum still stuck to it. Also when I started to eat it it wasn't how I order it. I was going to take it back but I didn't want to wait another 30+ minutes either. Also while I was waiting there were several others returning there orders too. I guess you don't need to know how to read to work at this McDonald's. So I figure I will just toss it out and take my loss and Never come back to this one. I thought about talking to the manager but didn't see one. But I did notice the drive thru went fast. I went through the drive thru tonight at 10:30 and ordered my food. They have messed up my orders in the past but I still come back because I don't get off work till late and they're the only place open. They didn't give me the side of sauce I paid for. They didn't put sauce on my hot and spicy. They also did NOT put a beef patty on my cheeseburger. How do you forget to put that on there. Seriously. This place is ridiculous. I understand it's late and people get tired, but that does not give them the right to slack off. read more

Dumb dumb DUMB. Shame on me. I went back here again after I swore I wouldn't. Ordered a #4 combo - that's 2 cheeseburgers - plus diet coke, at the drivethru. Get my order and reach in the bag to feel around. I can feel a frickin BOX in there. Lo and behold, they've given me a single filet-o-fish in the bag!! Back home I take a sip of the diet coke, and stop dead. Give it to my wife. She confirms. It's regular coke. IDIOTS! Pros: 1. Close to home and convenient location just off of 303 and Bell Rd 2. The coffee was decent and hot 3. McDonald's obviously has economy of scale working for them and can offer their low-quality, pseudo food at low cost Cons: 1. Poor layout of drive thru lanes. They have double lanes but not enough room when they get busy 2. The drive thru operator too busy flirting with manager to get my order right 3. I ordered a large coffee with 2 sugars and 2 creamers. At the pickup window, the person handed me 2 creamers and 2 sugars, with the coffee as if I can magically pop open the lid on the steaming hot cup of coffee, add the sugar/creamer and stir it; all the while driving. It literally would have taken her an extra 5-10 seconds to add the creamer and sugar herself (you know, like they do at Burger King, where I'll apparently be spending my money in the future if I decide to eat fast "food" for breakfast) 4. I get home and one of the two breakfast burritos was put together in such a manner as to have the tortilla folded around the paper wrapper. Seriously, how hard did some employee have to work to go out of their way to to try and ruin my meal? I won't be back and this place is simply another reminder that fast "food" is only to be considered a last resort. read more

This place is disgusting. Came here today at 10:20 am was expecting to get fresh lunch items and what I received was complete crap. Fries were soggy from being soaked in grease, they weren't even fully cooked! Chicken nuggets for my kids were hard and dark as bricks! My husband got a quarter pounder the meat was so gross it tasted like a day old patty!!! When I called to speak to the manager to get my refund they told me they could send me coupons in the mail but couldn't give me a refund! I was furious! Coupons?! Really!! I demanded a refund since I was already planning on taking the nasty food back they decided to serve me. I will be calling mullin and sons on this mcdonalds and the manager annalee. I'm not a huge fan of McDonald's in the first place but we go every once in awhile. We have been in and the dining room is always dirty, sometimes unbelievably so. I don't think employees walk it at all. Today I went in and ordered 2 cheeseburgers, bacon cheese fries, 10 piece nuggets and a large fry. We paid and were told to pull around to the front because it would be longer for the bacon cheese fries. 10 minutes later they came out with our order. After that long wait the fries were cold. I sent Alex in to get new large fries. The person did not apologize just took the fries, and yelled he needed new ones, gave them to Alex and we left. When we opened the rest of the food the bacon cheese fries were really old, wilted looking, cold and had a small amount of cold cheese on them. I should have known better and should have checked but thought those were the item they wouldn't mess up.... I mean those were what we were waiting on, right? Horrible mistake and a waste of $4. The burgers and nuggets were okay but all and all a horrible experience to remind of why I don't come here. read more

Ordered Big Mac Meal. Big Mac was received missing the beef patty on the bottom and the cheese was ice cold - fresh from the fridge. Took it up to the counter and was assured they were fixing me another one. What really took place? Threw a patty on the bottom bun of the same sandwich. Cheese still ice cold. Didn't even bother remaking a new one. Next time for our toddler's reward, we'll persuade him to go to Freddy's or Chick-Fil-A and will skip the McD's trip all together. read more

This place is actually a new fancy Mc Cafe. Inside looks like a starbucks with wood finishes, pendant lights and wood flooring. VERY NICE for a McDonalds. We just ventured in for a Free Mc Flurry. So, there may be just a little bias on this one. We won coupons at the ballgame. They were, of course, delicious, and the price was right!!!! read more

We came in and multiple workers looked at us and refused to help us. They said very rudely that we can order at the kiosk or just wait. We stood at the counter for more than 5 minutes and none of the workers seemed to care. They kept joking around with other employees and the workers had their airpods in, not paying attention. Also every single table was dirty and there was trash everywhere, we had no where to even sit. We asked an employee to talk the the manager and she had left the store and gone outside. Then we finally talked to the manager, Sharday, about it and she did not care at all. She gave us attitude and walked away. This is so unacceptable. Then the manager's friend called one of us a bi*** and wouldn't stop honking at us as we were leaving. If I could rate this 0 stars I definitely would. It's fast food, I get it. But, a review is still in order. I stopped here to get breakfast yesterday afternoon. I asked for a bacon McGridle. Sorry, no can do. Ok, how about a bacon biscuit. Nope, not that either. Seemed like they didn't have anything to offer except taking an egg McMuffin and instead of ham, putting bacon in it. That's the best they can do. When I opened the wrapper, not only did it have bacon, but sausage too. WTH? Of course, this is a McDonald's that also ran out of quarter pounder burgers during lunch time. If I ever get another fast food craving, definitely not stopping here. Oh, and I also had to park at a reserved spot and waited 15 minutes for the breakfast sandwiches. read more
