It took me a VERY long time to find an artist for my latest tattoo. I was planning on getting a full back piece and wanted the right artist to work with. I found this shop and was blown away at the caliber of talent here. Jamie Lee Parker was the artist I met with and decided to work with. All the artists here are amazing and work on many styles of tattoos, I would highly recommend any of them. Now back to my tattoo and Jamie. What an amazing experience. I had a general theme or idea but not an exact image, just a vision. I wanted a piece of art to over my whole back, pretty daunting. I met with Jamie on my first appointment day on a design. We just played with ideas and images, and eventually came up with an amazing design. The tattoo came out way better then I could have ever imagined. It took six sessions and over 36 hours, so I spent a good amount of time in the shop and around all the artists. The shop has a very professional and welcoming vibe. No one who works there has any bad attitudes. People come in and out throughout the day and since the artists are always working on clients, it does take a few minutes to get help for the walk ins, but they always get their time for questions. All the artists book appointments in advance, some take longer to see then others, and some cost more then others. I have had tattoos done before at numerous different shops, but I can definately day I will never go anywhere else. The experience was so amazing that I am already planning my next piece. i came here on a long-planned quest to bear my family's coat & crest permanently in ink with what i thought was a good clean picture of it but ended up needing a lot of preparation and some changes before it was ready to become an awesome tattoo. Marc took hours and hours modifying it and remodifying it with incredible fidelity to the very specific, finnicky details that were important for the integrity of the coat & crest, as well as to the aesthetic. He was very patient and his solutions were clear and exactly aligned with what i wanted. when it came time to actually do the deed, he was very courteous and clear about care and all the paperwork, and also courteous about the awkwardness of being kind of topless (in just my bra, half-off) in a studio full of other customers. He made it clear that i could take breaks whenever i wanted (the work took two-&-some hours) and participated in pleasant, distracting conversation. The tattoo came out perfect, every line is very clean and straight even though some parts are very small and intricate. I couldn't have asked for a nicer, more competent, professional artist. The shop itself is very clean, open, and comfortable. The walls are filled with beautiful, distinctive paintings, there is minimal requisite flash art, and minimal product-hocking area. The other three tattoos i observed happening while i was there (all large, brightly colored, and delicately shaded) looked beautiful and everyone seemed happy. i will definitely return to this shop for any further work and would readily recommend it to a friend or relative. Came here to get a tattoo this past Saturday and as soon as we came in my boyfriend and I got greeted and asked what we needed. I show the guy what I wanted to get and he then follow by telling me his fees but told me he couldn't do it because he was busy at that current moment but then he introduce me to (Daniel). He was nice and professional and very patient also. After waiting a while he got everything set up he brought us to the back room. All I can say is it was fast and quick. I like my experience here. He gave me a couple suggestions also on my tattoo and I'm happy he did :). I would definitely come back for maybe a 3rd tattoo or maybe a cover up on a previous tattoo I have that I got from another shop. Thanks Daniel again for your work. After my dog passed, the owner Mike DeVries, who rarely has an opening, found time to memorialize my boy. It's the most important tattoo I've ever collected after 125+ hours. We've done more since and between Mike, Katelyn Crane, Jamie, Spence, Daniel & the rest of the crew - you can't go wrong! I make the trip from Houston any time they have a spot open. The art, the process, the sterilization, the technique, and then the finished product will remind you that you get what you pay for. Had my second tattoo done yesterday, this time with Spencer. Not only am I overwhelmed by the outcome of the piece, the customer service and attention to detail was second to none. We happened to be situated at the very front of the shop so I got to witness first hand the onslaught of people who pop in with questions and needs of all kinds. Everyone was treated graciously and given full attention; mind you this all happened while all the artists were busy making badass art come to life. I can only assume all the negative reviews, the very few that exist, are a byproduct of ignorance coupled with sire ego. If you have a stupid idea for a tattoo or its placement, wouldn't you expect a true professional to say something in a courteous way? I take the negative reviews a bit personal as I sat through a full day on my side getting a leg piece (which left me speechless) and witnessed the staff go out of there way to make everyone who came into the shop feel appreciated. Some people just can't be pleased. Don't let their mental diarrhea discourage you from getting the absolute best tattoo you can, from a truly great collective of talented and kind artists. again, katelyn nailed it!! i sat this time for about 3 1/2 hours took a short break and another 3 /12...the shop is still pristine clean and they have great chairs...that fold out so you can lay down if need be!!! i can not tell you how much this studio is perfection!!! they are attentive and are always making sure you are comfortable and doing good!! i have been going to md for two years and had quite a few tattoos done by katelyn...there is no fowl language...smoking in front...and what you REGULARLY get when you go to a tattoo shop. all of the artists are best of the best and mike makes sure the shop is run professionally!! they are EXTREMELY hygienic with state of the art machines and disposable needles!! which i personally love. so...to put it all in a nutshell...if you want the best...tattoo...clean...friendly...professional...hygienic...with a wide array of fantastic artists... this is the place to go. read more

In addition to doing amazing color work, London is a good conversationalist and an all around nice guy. i went in to finish my right sleeve, to which no one was willing to touch it being the fact a few other artists had dabbled with it before, but when i was referred to the artist london by my gf. he took the challenge and saw that it could be an amazing piece and not only was he creative enough to help basically re design the whole thing, he is a wicked ass artist and currently we are half way done with it and im ever so excited to get back in to finish it london is an amazing tattoo artist i have had alot of tattoo work done on my body and had alot of really good artists work on me, but london is by far the best if your looking to get a tattoo you will never regret make sure go to him :) read more
