Sundays in Texas are nearly impossible for finding anywhere open, let alone a good stylist with appointments available! I found Monica on Yelp and saw that she was open. I was hesitant because she didn't have many reviews, but the reviews she did have were all five stars so I decided to give her a try. When I arrived, hiding my hair under a hat, I was desperate for a complete overhaul. She worked her magic with a blonde foil and pixie cut, and I couldn't have been happier with the result. I have continued to use her since and I intend on keeping her as long as I am living in San Antonio. I was so impressed by her that I sent my boyfriend to her to get his hair done. He has really thick, curly hair, and has not had an easy time finding anyone who can cut and style his hair the way that he likes. Needless to say, he loved what she did to his hair and will continue to use her as well. We are big fans and recommend you try her out!

The initial appointment went well and I was happy with my hair overall, but I noticed afterward that my money piece was uneven. I reached out the very next day to get it fixed, but communication was extremely delayed. It took two days to get a response, and this pattern continued back and forth, making it difficult to schedule a correction. Despite this, we eventually agreed on a time. On the day of the follow-up appointment, I even offered to come earlier if she was available, but received no response. I still showed up early for my scheduled 3:30 appointment, texted to let her know I was there, and got no reply. After waiting over 15 minutes past my appointment time, calling, getting no response, and hearing her with another client, I left as she never acknowledged me. When I requested a partial refund due to the lack of communication and missed appointment, it was denied, and I was blamed for leaving as she expected me to wait even tho she never acknowledged me--even though I waited beyond a typical grace period and made multiple attempts to reach her. And she stated no mistakes were made on her end. Overall, the work itself was decent, but the communication and professionalism were very disappointing, especially when trying to resolve an issue. I would recommend improving response time and client communication.

I had a very simple request: make my roots look less whack. Tiffany was tasked with the job, and she recommended baby highlights (totaling a little over $300 after the tip) My only complaint was that the salon was very loud at first (the music). I was told that even though I had the receipt, I couldn't do an exchange for a candle that I didn't like the scent because it was now ringing up at a lower price. Apparently it was out of season. I'm not sure what was going on before we got there but as soon as we stepped in, we were profiled once again and I know that's what it was because as soon as we walked in, she looked at me up and down, looked at my purse and then looked at My Husband the same way when I tell you every move, we made we were followed by a staff member continuously being bothered, and we were not able to shop whatsoever and I never heard them asking other customers if they knew what they were going to buy or what they were looking for or if they needed help the way they asked us. My Husband and I finally looked at each other and said let's just go and the only items we were able to shop for were two refills for our plug-ins that we have at home and one hand foam soap that was on one of the shelves right next to me as we were in line it was super uncomfortable and very annoying. It was like the lady did not get the hint that we just wanted to look around and shop on our own like everybody else in there especially since they didn't have the fragrance that we wanted in stock we thanked her for helping us look up the item and then letting us know they didn't have it, but I did find it in one of the home fragrance refills so I grabbed that one. My Husband didn't like it very much so he went and found his own fragrance for his own plug-in, and that was it and as we stood in line, like I said, there was a shelf that I was able to browse through because we were in line and the lady who greeted us made her way to the cash register and I'm guessing it was to make sure that we purchased what we had in our hand never again will I shop at this location? I will be taking my business elsewhere. we didn't like the shopping experience at this location at all, and apparently when I told my neighbor she said yeah us too. They weren't profiled, but they were definitely given attitude by the ladies that work there she also agrees that she would not be shopping there either at least not at that location, which is sad because it's very close to our home, but we would rather drive further out to be treated well and not the way we were treated when we were there the last time. I sincerely hope that they find better staff more respectable.
