I've eaten at this restaurant before and it's usually pretty good however I messed around and had the baby back ribs. picture below. This is the smallest rack of ribs. I've ever seen in my life and don't even know where you would buy something like that. It's almost like they took a regular rack of ribs and sawed it down the middle lengthwise to make two racks out of one normal rack. I've seen this guy on TV. He's a nice fellow and usually the food is really good but this is horrible and you should not be selling it, take it off the menu. Everyone else, save yourself some time and disappointment and go get a rack for the same price from Sonny's or Mission barbecue or anywhere else . Even a grocery store has better ribs. You know the kind that you get in a bag at the grocery store and you just heat them up in the oven? Those are 10 times better. read more

Food is not good. Raw chicken served. When they remade the chicken it tasted bad and had a smell to it. Possibly cross contaminated with seafood based on taste and smell. Took one bite of the chicken and only a few bites of the vegetables before telling them to forget my order, but somehow still had indigestion from just a few bites of very garlicky vegetables. The restaurant is horrible inside, dark, the seats are uncomfortable and covered in some horrid plastic. The food is hard to describe, I ordered the fried chicken, we are in the South I mean really? It was like eating cardboard, flavorless, dry, plain bad, it came with coleslaw and mac & cheese, the coleslaw was the only edible dish. My husband ordered the blackened mahi mahi, served over black beans and rice, it was inedible, there is no way to describe this dish, it was awful and unappetizing to look at, he could not eat it. Today, I was the worst at remembering to take pictures... maybe that is because the food was so good! We started with the gator soup, wings that were on the special board and the escargot. I had the short rib with Thai peanut noodles. Delicious! My MIL ordered the Booth Bay pasta loaded with seafood. The food was delicious, as was the dessert. My mom and I took my grandma there because she hadn't been yet and didn't like the idea of going to place that was "mean" . The cedar plank salmon was all it took to win her over. It was some of the best salmon we've ever had. Had to try the blackened gator chowder which was light and tomato-y and not a thick white paste. The plank salmon soaked in the bourbon bath was fantastic and was moist with a citrus tang.
