A much smaller AYCE Korean bbq spot, but with parking in the back. I like the different options and sides it offers such a japchae, duck, and pork jowl. There are different soups, steam eggs, and sides options as well. I enjoyed the pork jowl, and bulgog the most. As for the steak and duck, they weren't as good as I would hope. Everything pairs well with their radish, kimchi and salad, but I wish they would refill without asking or give larger portions. The service wasn't the most attentive as I constantly have to ask for banchans to be refilled. Also, I didn't think I smelled too bad coming out the restaurant.
AYCE spot next to HMart (RIP) it's around $43 pp and the portions of meat are HUGE. We ordered a bunch of sides as well and could only manage one round. You get 1.5 hours to order and there is a left over fee. The waiter was super nice and responsive even during the dinner rush. Would recommend coming here with a large group!
Awesome AYCE Korean BBQ spot! The meat is fresh and high quality, and the service is always great. One of the best parts is that the staff cooks the meat for you so no need to assign someone as the grill master! I love coming here, and the steamed egg is a personal favorite, so soft, fluffy, and comforting (I usually get two for myself). While I usually enjoy Korean soups, I found the tofu and kimchi soups here a bit underwhelming, but honestly, everything else more than makes up for it. Overall, it's a solid go-to for AYCE KBBQ in Queens!
Overall: Would recommend depending on the time of day. They serve you, so I would recommend coming at a time with less people since there are mixed reviews about service during peak hours, but this time their service was AWESOME (best service I've ever had at a restaurant). Everything 5/5, I would come back. Came here with my partner around 1PM on a Saturday for AYCE KBBQ at $43 per adult. Unlike other KBBQ joints, the servers cook for you here. Sorry, not as many pictures as I had hoped for because I got lost in the eating... lol. Ambience: On the outside, store was inconspicuous but on the inside there was quiet K-pop music, lighting was warm/soft, and there were not many people. Food: Sides and appetizers were unlimited. The julienne pickled radish and carrots were amazing. The GF loves cheese steamed egg but I don't eat dairy. I recommend the addicting fried rice cake. There were some dull lettuce leaves but most were vibrant appearing, everything was clean. For meats, we tried to go down the list for beef cuts but got too before we could try everything. We ordered - Thin cut brisket: My favorite cut especially to start with. Thin so it cooks fast, tender, not too fatty. Not marinated so goes well with salt and pepper. - Hanger steak: Not marinated but simple, classic, and great with salt and pepper. Some pieces were tougher than others. - Finger meat: Not a fan, maybe the tendons in the meat made it tough to chew and hard to eat with the lettuce wrap. - Soy marinated short rib: Good. Light sweet marinade that wasn't overpowering and retained the meaty flavor. - Soy marinated beef bulgogi: Decent. Would say the bulgogi definitely absorbed too much sauce and a little on the saltier side which kind of overpowered the natural flavor of the meat. Service: AMAZING, best service I've ever received at a restaurant. The server clearly took pride in his work. Recommended to us where to sit to not get splashed by oils from the grill. He anticipated all of our needs. He saw I was getting garlic out of my GF's plate and brought me a separate massive plate of garlic (I am a glutton). Gave us refills of appetizers and lettuce before we even ran out. Cooked everything for us and was attentive throughout the whole experience.
The food quality and for the price of all you can eat (~$40 pp) is very good! We ordered brisket, short rib, and bulgogi. I will say that the short rib was our favorite and I didn't care for the bulgogi. Our side dishes were also really good-- steamed egg, spicy rice cakes tots. I would not recommend the spicy mixed noodles (bibimbuksu) though. The server was a bit abrupt, but it was fine. Overall, a great experience!
We went around 3 PM and it wasn't too packed, so we got seated immediately. After being situated, we ordered a couple appetizers and they came out quick. Same goes with the meats, they were really quick with everything. I like how they grill it for you. Our server was amazing. He refilled our sauces, got more lettuce, and water when he noticed we were running low. He even got us cream for burns when he noticed that we burned ourselves accidentally. I wish they had more side dishes, but I'm happy with what they had cause they were delicious. Overall, fantastic service and enjoyed the food!
I really enjoyed this place, the customer service in this place is phenomenal. We didn't make reservations but we were seated super quick. The place is spacious and great for an intimate dinner or a group of people. The tables are nicely set up and they look very clean. Each table is already set up with all the condiments and spices needed for your meal as well as jars of water with cups . This is an all you can eat place, however, they time your order right so that you can continuously eat without wasting any food which I thought was great! They have one menu at each table and it's super easy to navigate and order. The food came out faster than expected and it was delish! Depending what you order, some meat is seasoned and some is not but all so good! We had a couple of different servers whom kept checking up on us, making sure we had all we needed, kudos for that! The place is a little pricey but it's an all you can eat so you can easily make up for the cost by eating as much as your heart desires and MORE! we walked out of there super stuffed and happy, I will deff be coming back and I highly recommend!
Arrived on a Friday afternoon at 1:00pm and there was nobody so we were seated right away. AYCE lunch for$24.99. The staff also do all the grilling. Kpop music videos were being played on the TV screens so a plus for kpop fans lol Tried the thin cut brisket, thin cut pork belly, pork belly, soy marinated bulgogi, beef belly, and pork rib. All meats were tender and great. The marination was a bit too heavy for my friend and I. Also, upon reading the previous reviews regarding portions, I had asked them to give us half the portion size so that we can get various types of meat which was good because we didn't want to over order and waste. Liked the three options of sauces we got which were mixed salt, samjang, and a miso sauce? The ban chan was a bit lacking though with just kimchi, pickled radish, pickled fish cake with onions and pepper. Wish I had the stomach to try other things!
I betrayed 02 bbq and came here on a friends request. Good place. Didn't like the music. Stay was attentive and they actually helped us with the Korean barbecue. Most places don't help you cutting and cook, but they did which was very nice. Menu was really good, large portions. What makes this place unique as they have a very nice all you can eat appetizers and appetizers are pretty awesome. Also the brown sauce , must try. No complaints all good definitely come here . A lot of parking it's next to a very nice café. Superrr
Service was fast and the employees there were polite. The restaurant was playing good upbeat music. The sides were pretty good. We had eggs, cold noodles, and bbq boneless chicken. The marinated short ribs had good flavor but the meat was tough and chewy. The brisket was good but there was so many fatty pieces. I also had the thin sliced pork belly and that was ok but we also got very full and had to stop eating. All in all, it was a good ayce experience with good service.
Four visits since January, and I STILL drag everyone here when they crave KBBQ. Once you try it, you'll understand why. Easy street parking on Union, or just use the shared Hmart lot (no, your car won't vanish--I pinky promise). Vibe is modern, lively, and they play the best mix (TikTok bops, K-pop/K-rap, 2000s throwbacks... chef's kiss). The staff? Warm and welcoming--shoutout to Matthew for keeping us laughing. Price is $40/person for THIS AYCE? Worth. Every. Penny. Now for the Food - Meat: Skip the chicken (why??) and go for beef, pork, or duck. - Banchan: Their "just soy sauce & mayo" secret sauce is crack. My boyfriend asked for a whole bowl. Sell it in jars, PLEASE. - Apps: Solid, but save room for the main event. Verdict: 10/10 vibes, 10/10 flavors, 10/10 memories. This place isn't just a meal--it's a whole mood. See you at our next meat coma! P.S. wanna give your waiter a little extra love? Cash tips are king, just hand it to them directly without anyone else noticing (they have to share everything) .
First time trying this place. The servers are very welcoming and very helpful. The servers are very attentive when cooking your food. The food is great. Really enjoyed the fried dumplings. Great place to visit with friends in any night. read more

I have been a regular at this KBBQ place for years because of the great food and pricing they offer but my most recent visit was very disappointing and I don't think I'll be going back. I brought my family out for dinner to this place for their first time to celebrate my little brother's birthday because he loves eating KBBQ and the visit was quite disappointing towards the end. To my knowledge, an AYCE place should keep serving you and allowing you to order as long as you finish the food, is still within the seated time, and they haven't closed yet. Me and my family were seated at 7:11pm and at 8:44pm when we wanted to order one more plate of beef brisket for my little brother, we were told by our server (who had to ask another person, they discussed something in Korean so I do not know what they said) that we can not order anymore. Their maximim dine-in time is 2 hours by the way and they were definitely not near closing time yet. We finished all our food as well and did not waste anything. No explanations, nothing, just a straight up "No more" and walked away when we started to ask them why. Before this, they also brought us our check when we didn't ask for it yet, as if telling us it's time to go when we still had well over 30 minutes left. I'm not sure who gave those orders but I wasn't about to start an argument with the servers who was just doing their job so I still gave a good tip. But I definitely won't be coming back again and I will not be recommending this place to my friends and family anymore. This visit has truly been disappointing for us when it was supposed to be a happy celebration. read more

This place was great! Came here with a few friends on a weekend for lunch. $38 for AYCE, option of sidewalk shack dining, and they have ample parking in the rear lot. Great assortment of needs available, and you cook over a cast iron lid. Wait staff was attentive, and help to change out the cooking surface as needed. I was happy they offered Makgeolli as a drink here. Bonus, the cashier/DJ will play current K-pop videos on the big screen. They even take requests! read more

Came here with some friends for dinner one night and it was delicious. We got the steamed egg, green grape Jinro soju and an assortment of meats. The meats were good and the sauces that we had to accompany the meat was delicious! The service was pretty quick as everything came out without delay and well cooked. Although they cook the meats for you, the experience is still great as you can focus on chatting with friends. The best part was it was all you can eat for about 39$. This place was great. I recommend it for large or small groups of people. We made reservations, but not sure if that was necessary. But this place was popping. They play kpop and techo music with videos on the flat screen tvs. You felt like breaking out in a dance. People can sit indoors or outdoors. We preferred the indoors because of the AC and felt like it was better service. They said you'll get timed for 2 hours, but I highly doubt that they're stickler for that time. The service was great and they barbecue for you. You can order what is on the menu and order as many servings as you please. We were stuffed after ordering so much beef. Next time we will order the Diablo chicken and the sweet & spicy chicken. One great part was that the staff come by and cook everything for you and let the table know when it's all cooked. read more
A wonderful dinner spot for your kbbq cravings. Went here to celebrate my father in laws birthday, and the service was spectacular. We were honestly treated like royalty and the servers here are wonderful. Their hospitality is by far one of the best services I received. It can be very overwhelming to work in a hustle setting, so I truly salute them. The meats were fresh & the side dishes kept coming! It was the first time my in laws tried the egg soufflé so they were quite impressed by it. If you are ever in the are, give this spot a chance, you won't regret it! read more

Decent quality and good service (they cook for you) at this Korean BBQ joint. We've been here a couple times lately and both times were good. Can't beat that price point for AYCE, plus side dishes like steamed egg and tofu stew. Although I found the marinated meats a bit too sweet. Causal decor and nothing fancy but you will be leaving with a happy stomach. They also have outdoor seatings. read more

Came here because we were craving kbbq and this is relatively new compared to O2 and Cast Iron. Overall meat quality was okay, but thought the brisket was kind of tough to eat. The portion sizes of the meat that they came out were pretty big for a table of 2 which kind of threw us off and we couldn't try the other cuts of meat since we had to finish up what we ordered first. They also had side dishes like soondubu and steamed egg that I thought were pretty good additions to all the meat we were eating. Overall, thought it was just okay but there are definitely better options in the area. read more

Meat Me BBQ is very similar in concept to Cast Iron Pot 3 and O2 where a big cast iron dome is placed over an open flame burner and you order different cuts of beef, pork & chicken (marinated and unmarinated) to cook on the dome. Each of the 3 restaurants offer different cuts and side dishes, so it's a matter of preference and level of service. Meat Me has KPOP videos playing on the TV screens, but they are not blaring like at CIP3. The dining room is fairly large, including the outdoor patio, but if you want to cook on the table, you have to request a table inside. Otherwise, your meat will be cooked on a butane burner by your server and served on a sizzling platter. You start with a few banchan (3) on the table, a salad and a couple of onion slices on the dome. Our server(s) kept everything moving on the dome grill and pushed what was done cooking to the sides for us to enjoy. They will replace the dome if too much residue builds up, so the cooking surface stays fresh, but sometimes I like eating the charred bits. They go good with some white rice! Let's Go! Great BBQ away from the hustle and bustle of Northern Blvd and Flushing. At first glance it may not seem appropriate for a restaurant that is further away from the epicenter of Flushing to keep the hours that they do, given that there is residential housing just across the street. They've definitely found the right formula to satisfy the early and late crowds with ease. The menu may be a little more limited in terms of choices but it doesn't lack in flavor in the ones I chose. For example, I didn't find and of my favorites among the ban chan that was offered. I definitely say go with the staff recommendations on the marinated beef and pork belly. Those were the best! And even though the menu is limited compared to others in Flushing, the presence of tater tots which is a first I've seen at a AYCE Korean BBQ is a pleasant surprise. They were done well! The service was great although that may not have been a choice as we were sitting close to the kitchen and staff was ever nearby. I also visited during a time when it was not very busy so I wasn't rushed to eat and leave. Another plus, enjoy the fact that parking in this part of town is far easier than Murray Hill as well. read more

Awesome place to go to for AYCE KBBQ! They have all the classic selections of meat and more! My favorite orders were: 1. Thin cut brisket 2. Marinated short rib 3. Pork belly 4. Top blade steak 5. Pork jowl Also be sure to try their Steamed Egg and various stews. We came here in a group of 10 people, and they were able to seat us all together and the service was great. They cooked the meats for us and were very attentive to us. The restaurant is kept very clean and they have a simple but nice aesthetic. They also have a parking lot so it's very convenient. You're sure to leave this place with a full stomach! I definitely recommended this place! read more

This restaurant was perfect for a night of Korean bbq. Since covid, many places have raised their prices for AYCE kbbq and I can't blame them but I was searching for a place that was a good value and had the meats I was hoping to try. The price for dinner on a weeknight is $32.99. My party of 2 was seated right away. We were blown away by the amazing service by our server. He was so kind and attentive. He not only grilled/cooked the meat but he also served in an orderly and neat presentation. Service alone 5/5! The food is amazing. We tried the Diablo chicken and it is definitely hot! If you check in on Yelp, you can get a free Jell-O shot. I will definitely be returning here for all my future kbbq cravings. If you love pork belly, I'd recommend trying pork jowl! You'll love it just as much! read more

MEAT ME with Bulgogi or pork belly please :) My first experience with Kbbq in NY. We came in the evening with a group for my Nephew Birthday. We had prior reservations and was seated right away. The set up is a little different from California Kbbq. Dipping sauce is brown, which would've been brisket sauce, it had a ginger taste to it. A paste I've never seen before. One of the guys in our group bust out Korean and order for all of us. We had several waiters catering to us through out the whole night, never hesitated in what we needed at all. They cooked everything for us too! The meat was fresh, delicious, and it kept coming endlessly lol. All smiles in the end, no complaints over here :) read more
This is one of my sister's favorite AYCE Korean BBQ. They have a large outdoor seating area as well as indoor seating. We opted to sit inside and was seated right away. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We started off with beef brisket. One of my favorite meat for Korean bbq. Unlike other Korean bbq places I been to, they don't have a full bowl of the soy dipping sauce. However the middle brown sauce is quite good and I used that as the main dipping sauce. Don't forget to get the sesame oil for the salt. I like their complementary salad and pickled radish. I also like selection of appetizers. Other than the usual egg, rice and lettuce, they have tater tots. I am surprised at how good these were and would definitely recommend it. The looked amazing when it came out and it stayed piping hot the whole time to the point it actually burnt a little so I would recommend scooping the egg off the side. I do not recommend the tofu stew. It was very powdery and wasn't that good. The table was a little narrow so we got the occasional oil splatter and the heat from the grill but otherwise the food is good and the staff are friendly. 3.5 stars overall. Came here on a Sunday. Ordered a bunch of food. Steaks weren't not marinated but there's sauce for u to dip (prefer seasoning to it, but guess some people like it plain) Cold noodles were good. Steam egg was very fluffy! Kid liked salt & pepper chicken. Pork belly- my fav. Kimchi tofu soup was okay. They actually got me the wrong soup but changed it for me right away, no questions asked. Service was excellent. We were there longer than expected but it wasn't too busy so they didn't really say anything. Also we asked for more pork belly after our last call and they were able to give it to us (which they really didn't have to) Wish there's more seasoning to the meat & more appetizers selections. read more

I visited for a get together dinnerAnd the place is pretty clean and organized. It wasn't crowded at all So the staff was pretty attentive. You are only able to order three meats at a time in order to prevent leftover food.They also help you cook the food, cut the food, and divided amongst The guest If you are a larger table And some people might not be able to reach the food. Drinks aside from water or additional cost and the Maximum sitting time is two hours which is like any typical Korean barbecue places. They also have great sides like kimchi tofu stew, steamed eggs, Soybean paste stew, And Bite-size boneless chicken. After tax and tip it was about $40 per person Which is pretty typical for Korean barbecue buffets. I think the soy marinated beef and the thin cut briskets were the best of the meats. Tl;dr - another kbbq buffet joint. Prices are similar to competitions. Staff is very attentive. read more

When I told my bf that I wanted BBQ and he wanted AYCE this place was a dream come true! It is a good walk (15min - 20 min) from the 7 train. But, great for people with a car. We got there around 6pm on a Saturday and was seated immediately. Food: I love every single dish we got. We ordered the spicy noodles, steamed egg, pork belly, Bulgogi, chicken thighs, and short rib. I wish I could taken more pictures before eating them but, they were all very good. My favorite: Pork belly: they have the thick cut but, I got the regular. It tasty and crispy! Service: The service was on point!! My bf and I finished all of our food under 50 mins!! Remember the meat is grilled for you by the staff. They very attentive while managing multiple tables. All in all, I will definitely go back. I have been going to Bayside for Korean BBQ. But, this is the place to go! Blasting K-pop, as you eat all the meat you can handle. Heard this place was under new management so wanted to give it a second chance since I didn't like it the first time. I think it was slightly better but not crazy about it. It's $37.99 (Mar 2023) regardless of weekend or weekday, lunch or dinner, which is interesting because most AYCE KBBQ places have different prices for those. We got the beef brisket slices, finger meat, pork jowl, thin cut pork belly, and marinated short rib for meat, and steamed egg with and without cheese, fried dumplings, and cold noodles for sides. The beef cuts were just ok, it was a bit tough my jaw was actually tired after the brisket loll....but the pork cuts were pretty good! (One small complaint is that they cook the meat for you at the table and the plate wasn't hot enough so there wasn't a nice sear on the meat which is our preference.) The side dishes were nothing special, the cold noodles were a bit too sweet for my liking but everything else was good. I would say that I appreciated the quick service when it came to ordering the meats though! TLDR: not sure if I'd go again but it was nice to try. Pretty decent for the price I guess but if you are going to go, go with ppl who can eat lots of meat! read more

Bathrooms: 1 stall each, kinda dirty. Came with 2 friends around 6pm on a Sunday. Fortunately, no line in front of us and there were still plenty of seats in the outdoor dining area. We were able to be seated within 5 minutes inside with the cool a/c. Wasn't too fond of the loud music right above our table because I found it hard to hear my friends talk throughout the meal. 5 stars for the waitress who brought us more sauce, napkins, and side dishes as we requested for them. She seemed attentive. I really liked the steamed egg and the lettuce. For $33 AYCE, this is alright. You get what you paid for. Like other KBBQ places, no worries if you don't know how to cook it. They will do it for you. The table is really small and they squish all your dishes right on the table with the big grill taking over 3/4 of the table. I found it hard to even find a place to put my phone. The chairs are also pretty close together. Not the most comfortable setting. read more

Price and food quality is same as other ayce locations nearby. However I like the vibe far more. Our server was great and friendly and did work for our table's requests. I almost felt like he was too good. There were three birthday dinners here and somehow the entire restaurant of separate groups joined in, really adding to the atmosphere and liveliness of the location. Another huge plus is the parking lot in the back and their above average side dishes. I don't really recommend the cold noodle since it's one dimensional but it's a nice change of pace from other ayce places. Probably my favorite ayce place now. read more

As I answer you today in May 2021, yes, Meat Me BBQ is open for both indoor and outdoor dining. Hope that helps.
Do they grill the meat for you in the indoor seating?
There is currently no indoor dining as they use all the indoor cooking space to grill the meat for the outdoor diners.
Are all of the meats cooked on one station, or are there separate stations for different kinds of meat?
