Dr. Mossavi is great! I've always had a fantastic experience with him, whether it's getting fillings done or diagnosing an issue. He's patient with answering my questions and is good about checking in throughout procedures to make sure I'm doing ok. Shout out to the front desk staff who are always very helpful, Jessica and Maria (hope I remembered their names right)! There was a minor issue with understanding their different retainer options. I ended up going with Invisalign even though it's more expensive because it wasn't clear what their cheaper acrylic option looked like. Removing a star because I've consistently had a poor experience with the older lady who works there as an assistant. I've had dental x-rays done by her twice and both times it was tremendously painful. It felt especially rough because I have a small mouth and she was not gentle. Today I came in for a polish and she was asked to do that for me, but she ended up taking too long preparing for it that Dr Najafi herself took over and did the polishing for me. It's honestly made me reconsider switching dentists, but my positive experience with Dr Mossavi is keeping me a client for now! read more

I made an appointment with Doctor Najafi for fillings. I was greeted by a different dentist to my surprise. The two fillings got done but my teeth feels so hyper sensitive and it's impossible to drink, or eat anything cold. I went in and got the fillings adjusted TWICE by a third dentist and the teeth are still hurting. I've never had this type of side effects from fillings and not sure what to do next. read more

Quick summary of my ~2 years outcome: 1. Simple fillings and cleanings are ok, however for one filling I still feel pain after 4+ months when flossing. 2. My only crown there was reinstalled twice(by guarantee though). Still sometimes food stuck in a gap between gum and crown base, they saying it "looks good". Clearly it is pending for redo. 4. That installed crown also changed my bite, that caused abrasion of other teeth, so dr. Kashani advised 6K$ Invisiline braces as the only solution. 5. Eventually I agreed on Invisiline, but also no success there. I lost 5K$ FSA accumulated for that, due to incompetence of office personnel and smiling, busy and not really carrying dr. Kashani. Who were not able to confirm my billing details until it became too late to use FSA and they surprisingly informed me on it. I happened despite their multiple promises over the year to "not worry about the billing". As a workaround he proposed me to FAKE a bill date that usually nobody verifys, but just in case it will be my crime. Sweet solution from doctor. So overall I wouldn't trust much positive comments here. Good luck in finding honest and professional dentists. read more

Worst dentist I've ever been to. 2 years later I still have pain. So, I went to Dr. Najafi a couple of years ago to get my TMJ looked at. I grind my teeth, and I was hoping to get a mouth piece. Dr. Najafi informed me that I had some cavities I needed filled before she could make a mold for my mouth piece. She then wrote up an invoice for me before ever starting, and it was going to cost me $1500. My insurance knocked it down to $800 and I paid half right away. She then gave me 2 of the worst fillings I have ever had. So unnatural feeling. And, on another visit, she tells me I need a crown. I agree, not knowing that insurance does not cover crowns, and she puts on a HALF crown. My tooth was really sensitive for months after she installed the crown, with her advice only of, "well, sometimes it can stay sensitive for a while." I was annoyed with the amount of pain I got when I would, I don't know, BREATHE, DRINK, SWIM... yes, swimming would hurt my tooth. I dealt with the pain, after numerous visits and her basically telling me that it will go away in time. 2 years go by, and I had been getting debt collections to my house for the other $400 "owed" to Dr. Najafi for 8 fillings, when she only did 3. I also have insurance billing me for the crown she veto-ed my opinion on paying for. She then sent a letter saying she was pregnant and no longer working. I hope she doesn't expect me to pay her the rest. I have been going to a new dentist, and now will have to get a root canal for the crappy crown job Dr. Najafi has put in. The tooth is rotten, and now I have constant pain. Keep in mind, all I went in for was a night guard mouth piece for TMJ. I had no current pain, or any other tooth problems until after seeing Dr. Najafi. read more
