Really happy to have a very good mediterranean restaurant in the area. My wife and I ordered some things for take-out. Arriving, the staff was very friendly and said that we should be sure to come and dine in person next time, and I think we will. The restaurant is small, and nicely decorated. We ordered Hummus & Pita and Baba Ghanoush & Pita. We kinda treat these as simple tests of a Middle Eastern restaurant. And Mediterranean Grill did not disappoint. While our preference is for the Hummus to be a bit thicker, this had very good flavor. The Baba has the taste of being made with grilled / smoked eggplant, which we really like as it adds a great depth of flavor. And the Pita was quite good. (We'd ordered enough that we had another meal that included these, and the Pita was still great a day or two later. I like it toasted, BTW.) My wife ordered the Gyro Sandwich and really enjoyed it. I thought that the meat had a great flavor and just the right amount of juiciness and tenderness. I ordered the Falafel Platter, and they were beautifully seasoned and fried to a great crispy texture without becoming dried out. Eating them along with the Hummus (that comes with the platter) made for quite a treat. And I also had a Mediterranean Slushy (minty lemonade) that was outstanding. The staff and I spoke a bit about dessert and how they made it themselves (rather than buying them in) and changed them each week. I thought I'd ordered a baklava, but got home and found that it was not in the bag nor on the receipt, so I must not have been clear. I'll sure be so next time. (Of course, if we're eating in, it will be pretty obvious!) Anyway, we're looking forward to our next meal from these folks. read more

I have driven by this restaurant every week for months, but I normally do so in the mornings when they are closed. Today, I had a chance to stop in. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant part: small, cozy, and ethnic music videos playing behind the bar. I have read other reviews, which weren't favorable to the layout of this restaurant, but if you've ever been outside of the U.S. you know not all restaurants and food places look like an American example. I love this place. I ate a small, quick plate of Lamb Gyro and fries. Also, I had the Turkish coffee...absolutely amazing!! The food was cooked hot and fresh. The owner and staff are nearby but respectful and don't come by to see how you are. I hope to be a regular here, if I can be around in the afternoons. read more

This place is a surprising gem. I was thinking from the curb appeal it was a full service restaurant but once walking it, there is a storefront and then the restaurant towards the back of the building. Easy street parking available. I did call in advance to place my order. When arrived the pick up process was simple and the staff was friendly. The only thing is they do not have Apple Pay right now so make sure you have a physical card or cash on you. The food was flavorful and relatively priced well for the amount of food given. Good food here. My wife and I had been wanting to give this place a try so we stopped in for lunch the other day. We went on a holiday and they had a very limited staff - the owner and his son were it. We sat ourselves and were greeted promptly and provided menus. Since this was our first time here, we had some questions which were answered well...very knowledgeable on the menu items. We started off with some falafel. It was very tasty...soft on the inside, nice and crunchy on the outside. I ordered the gyro and my wife ordered the shawarma wrap. In spite of the fact that they were fairly busy and there were just two staff members on site, the food came out pretty quickly. My gyro was very tasty, nothing overbearing or overloaded yet still very flavorful. It was served with some gardenia pickled vegetables inside...which was a bit different than I am used to with other gyro spots in town. My wife enjoyed her shawarma wrap as well. I snuck a little bite and, like the gyro, it was packed with flavor. I only wish that they had fresh cut fries. The presentation of the fries, in one of those mini fry baskets, was really cool...but I would prefer fresh cut fries. Overall, it's a nice spot and we'll most likely be back to try something else. read more

Our favorites are baba ganoush, mansef!!!!, and chicken shawarma. Baba ganoush comes with pita. Wonderfully homemade, you can taste the charred and smokiness of eggplant. We can never finish the large, but it's so good that we always get that size. We also love the gyro and baklava, but the first three are our favorite. Such a sweet husband and wife owner. We've done phone orders both times, paid in person. Highly recommend. One of our go to restaurants. read more

Used food of your mood delivery service. We ordered a gyro (came with fries), side order of fries, and 6 hot wings. All of the food was delicious Fries were a little limp, but seasoned well. Gyro was packed full and I especially liked whatever the pickled vegetables were in it. They added crunch & a tartness. Hot wings were mild for us but easily fixed at home with hot sauce. I was disappointed that no ranch, blue cheese or other dipping sauce came with the wings. Wings were cooked very nicely, not dry. But I recommend getting sauce on the side if getting take out or delivery as the sauce on the wings tends to make the crispy skin get a little soggy by the time you get them home. I wish I had taken pictures but in all honestly we attacked the food as soon as we got it inside. We were very HANGRY . A great meal that I didn't have to leave my house for! I will be wanting to try dining in the restaurant soon to try more items. Update 2nd order from Food of Your Mood delivery. The Mediterranean Combo is enough to share. It's wonderful. The restroom sinks don't work, so I couldn't wash my hands after using the restroom. Chicken kebab was bland and I had to order garlic Mayo just to enjoy it. The salad was actually good. Fresh ingredients with romaine not iceberg. Rice was bland. Vibe was really weird. Seems maybe they are going out of business. My son's shawarma was the tiniest shawarma I've ever seen - it's not a kids version and he's a teen. Fortunately no one in my party got sick. They served a hot chocolate to a child that was boiling hot so that he couldn't drink it until it was time to go. I don't know what's going on with that place but we won't be back. This place is great. The only issue I had was that the chicken was a bit dry but it was tasty. Beware the pickled vegetables are spicy and will clear your sinuses. After climbing, my friend and I stopped here for a bite. The server was so friendly and nice. He immediately told us if we were in a rush to not order from the dinner menu, he didn't mean it rudely but in a considerate of one's time way. The price was for something of a very high quality. I can say if you come from any place that serves a Greek salad this was not it. I paid $8.00 and it doesn't even come with feta cheese. I got a 1 quarter on 1 tomato and about 10 pieces of cut black olives. There was no cucumber sauce or even Cesar. No croutons, no yellow or green bell peppers. This was my worst experience that I have ever had with food quality from a Greek restaurant. Operating like this and staying in business I say good luck. This isn't a fancy restaurant; just a small, basic family run restaurant. The menu is authentic Mediterranean and small. They offer multiple types of shawarma, chicken, beef, lamb, falafel. They offer kebabs and dinner trays. I had the chicken shawarma, which was juicy and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Rather than having fries, I had a crispy side salad, which was refreshing. My husband had the falafel wrap with eggplant and fries. The falafel was a little too limp from the sauces in the wrap, but otherwise good. The fries were crispy. We also had falafel and hummus appetizers, single servings, and they hit the spot. Definitely recommend this family place in a city that has many chain restaurants. read more

One thing they're good at is having consistency and good customer service. I've gotten the Gyro Combo about a half dozen times and it's good. Being a Northerner transplanted in the South, this is the first time I've had a Gyro with giardiniera and it's good nice spicy to it. This is a review for takeout. I'm sure it would have been better if I had eaten in, but I am taking that into account. Overall very good, I just think somethings could have been done better. The chicken shawarma is like the gyro, cut off of a large roll. It is wrapped inside a thin tortilla-like wrapper. It's not an open faced sandwich like the gyro. The gyro was perfectly fine, open face inside a thick and fluffy pita bread. I got the Mediterranean platter which consists of two chicken kebabs, two beef sticks, and two steak kebab sticks. It also comes with rice tabouleh and grilled vegetables. The chicken kebab was very tender with a hint of spice-that was a pleasant surprise. The beef sticks were a little dry. My son got a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, which was surprisingly good. The meat was cut up nice and thin. The low point was the rice. It was just a tad dry and I've just had better at other Mediterranean places. I think the grain isn't quite right. Also the pita bread for the hummus was a bit dry. But that could have been because it was warmed and then sitting in a bag for 15 minutes. The owners are very nice, and prepared my order. read more

Finally checked this place out! I think it deserves to be added to Yelp, so I added it. I'm a vegetarian and I came in for the Falafel, but they had had a huge order earlier in the day so sadly they were all out. They did, however, make up a sampling plate free of charge so I could try their other vegetarian options. The hummus is amazing! The baba ganoush is amazing as well. Heavy on the garlic. This place really knows their spices. My husband got a gyro and he was pretty happy with it. It's pretty big and comes with a large salad and tons of fries. Even the fries here are good. They're seasoned really nicely. The prices are more than reasonable, they're about what you would spend for fast food, but you're getting a ton of quality here. Wait staff was helpful and kind. Food-wise it's ok at best. Definitely over priced for what it is. One wrap with no fries or drink for $9 is crazy to me. The customer service is really bad. Twice in the past two weeks I've called to place an order for pick up. When I show up 20 minutes later, I was told "oh, no one told me there was a call in order" and I had to wait until the food was prepared. This happened both times. Don't waste your money, there are better places for better prices. read more

I'm a student at APSU in Clarksville, there aren't a ton of food options around campus so I'm always excited to try something new. I stopped in Friday after class and got a falafel sandwich, I ate it as I walked to my car, and before I even got to my car I turned around, walked back to the restaurant and ordered another, amazing food! Stopped back in later and had a Turkish coffee, tabouleh, and the falafel platter. All such high quality, and high quality service too. We had the flafel plate and the kabob plate the Falafel were good the hummus was very good but a bit too oily baba ganoush had a bit too much garlic for my taste. The lamb kabob was so overcooked I could not eat it so i sent it back they were great and apologized and prepared two more that were good but by the time I got them we were ready to leave. I had their cinnamon tea it was amazing I will go back and try again just for the opportunity to have the tea. This was my first visit. I am well aware of their Lebanese slant on food offerings. It was good, but the food, service and selections could all be beefed up. For one thing the tabouli needed mint, not just parsley. Another the baklava outer crust should have been moist. The amount of meat on a skish kabob should have had more pieces maybe with adding some fresh vegetables. Our waiter was kind and courteous, but had to be asked several times to bring ordered food. Dropped by for a quick lunch yesterday. The food was so amazingly good I returned with my family for lunch today. Everything is made daily with fresh ingredients. The pastries are divine. Don't miss the cheese pastry. We ate gyros, kebabs, spinach pie, tabouleh, hummus and baklava on site, then ordered more to take home. The staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. Great shawarma. It is authentic as you can get. I spent 9 months in Jordan and have had a very difficult time finding a shawarma that tastes the same. The restaurant is clean and is in the middle of the Austin Peay campus. The server was attentive. The only issue I had is that I ordered a beer (bottle) and it was served warm. Basically, the food is spectacular and flavorful; however, its the only thing to keep you coming. The service is awful, the servers ignored me and my friends because they were watching The Office. I had to tap them on the shoulder for them to just bicker about who was going to be our server. Then one unamused boy sat us down with a menu. We sat for 10 minutes with our orders ready but he ignored us to watch The Office with his friends. I had to get up and tap his shoulder again. He finally took our orders and when we received it, it almost made our meal worth it. This is my fourth time coming and the servers are always like this.
