Everything you've heard is true. I've only ever had the Gyro but I've had it countless times and it's always left me satisfied. Chicken or beef, the platter is plentiful and fairly priced and comes with salad and fries. The meat is tender and flavorful, the pita is warm and soft, and the tzatziki is perfectly proportioned to the wrap. I always order takeout but they do have a small little seating area with about 3 or 4 tables. Parking lot is tricky but not impossible - take the right immediately before to park in the back. Bring your appetite and cash if your order isn't more than $10 - the minimum for credit cards. Or, just order more Gyro's which makes way more sense than going to an ATM. I've found quality fast and easy Greek/Mediterranean food hard to come by in Framingham but this place is tremendous. read more

It was the luck of the Irish having stumbled on this Mediterranean Turkish beauty in the outskirts of Framingham. It has limited interior seating so it is mainly a takeout restaurant. The menu is on the wall with colored pictures, descriptions and prices of all the items they sell. The cold mezze plate was perfect with hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, grilled asparagus, salad, pita and a dipping sauce. The hummus was very tasty, one of the best and the falafel had a crispy crunchy exterior with a very moist interior. The tabbouleh was one of the better ones I've tried as it had a substantial amount of bulgur to fresh parsley ratio unlike most I've had in the past. I ordered a bowl of Mercimek Çorbasi Turkish red lentil soup "crack". Spicy hot delicious and once again ranks right up there as one of the best I've tried. Go now. It had been a while since I had been ( the old location/ pre-COVID). The food is better than I remember and the location is great. Lots of seats, so new and clean inside, great menu. We had a falafel wrap w/ side of fries and the chicken shawarma lunch plate. Everything was fresh and really healthy portions. The falafel was extra impressive as you could tell they were fresh- insides green, outside had a good crunch and fry, without any old oil taste common at other places. Solid five stars for this restaurant. We got babaganus, grape leaves, falafel appetizer, doner kebab , and sultan pie. My favorites were sultan pie (a pie with fried eggplants and meat) and fried falafel. The owner is so nice and friendly. The food is exceptional. Even compared to the food that I had in Turkey, I can confidently say the dish here is authentic and good. I got the lunch portion of the doner kebab and it was a little bit dry side and the meat was very thin so probably I won't get that next time. My friend got adana kebab and that was very tasty (highly recommended). There are so many different dishes that I could try so I am definitely going back. read more

One of my local favorites... the staff, I think also the owners(?) since I only ever see them there, are very sweet and helpful, and the food is delicious. I've driven by this restaurant many times and finally stopped in for lunch on Saturday, June 21st. There is a full color menu on the wall that has photos of the items and the prices. Their special platters cost $8.50 with the exception of three that come with beef. These are $1.00 to $1.50 more in price. You know when you see full color photos of a restaurant's menu and the food looks fantastic but when you receive your meal it looks nothing like the photo? At this restaurant, the food that's on your plate looks exactly like the photo! The owners take pride in artistically arranging the food on the plate. It looks great and tastes even better. I ordered the Falafel Special for $8.50. It came with pita bread, rice pilaf, hummus, havoc kavurmasi (cooked grinded carrots mixed with garlic yogurt), a small salad comprised of bite sized pieces of freshly cut lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and red onion and four of the best falafel that I have ever had! As other reviewers have noted, they were perfectly fried and the filling was moist, soft and flavorful. They have many vegetarian offerings as well as chicken, beef and lamb. You place your order at a window and then sit down at a table. There are five tables which have seating for two people. All of the food is prepared to order. Fifteen minutes or so later, your food is delivered to you by one of the owners. They are hard working people who want to make sure that you enjoy their food. They have assorted types of salad dressings in large plastic squeeze bottles which are in a refrigerator. You just walk over to the refrigerator and take out whatever dressing you want. Soda and water are also stored in the refrigerator. The other diners when I was there included a man and woman in their twenties, a father, mother and their teenaged daughter and a husband and wife in their forties. None of them were speaking English to each other. This alone should tell you how good the food is at this restaurant! The couple in their forties told me that this was also their first time dining there. The husband had ordered a Turkish coffee and the owner asked him when he wanted him to start brewing it. Please come here to eat in or do a take out order. This is a hidden gem and I don't want them to fail. The parking is a bit tricky, but the food is definitely worth it. For those of you who live in the Saxonville area, walk, drive or ride a bicycle to get here, but do give them a try. You won't regret it! read more

This place has become one of our weekly take outs. The food selection seems a bit weird since its Mediterranean food, but has "subs" in their name. My wife always gets the falafel wrap. It's HUGE, big enough for her and her mom to split and still be stuffed. My usual is the gyro which is always juicy with awesome yogurt sauce (I always get some extra). Simple food, but always hits the spot. One disappointment was our last visit. Not sure if we got them on a bad day, but it seemed like they changed their fries and the portions were slightly smaller. "Mediterranean Turkish Food" I got the spicy meat stick thingie with some yellow rice and some side salad and my oh my, the meat was cooked to perfection that it melted in my mouth, and the spice was juuussstttt right. The rice packed some flavor and the vegetables tasted fresh and had that crunch everyone asks for (Subway next door lacks that big time). Speaking of which, make sure not to park in front of Subway as this establishment has their own lot (it's to the right, almost missed it). The white yogurt sawce is da bomb diggity if you want something extra with your meat/rice/veggies/life. My only complaint is that I don't live closer to this restaurant. If I did, I'd eat here every day. This place is a vegetarian's dream and a meat-lover's dream at the same time. I always order the spinach pie (gozleme) which comes with tzatziki (cacik) sauce, as well as the spicy bean appetizer. My wife orders the Adana kebab. My wife has to remind me to slow down when the food arrives. We both leave extremely happy. The family who owns the restaurant is from Istanbul and it's better than anything we've tasted in Turkey. And it's extremely affordable. One caveat - they close the doors at 8pm sharp so be sure to arrive before 7:15pm if you want to eat in. Oh and this is a great reason to visit the cute village of Saxonville! I'd always seen the name on some signs but hadn't been there until we discovered this restaurant. read more

Nice neighborhood joint that really should change it's name. It's current name suggests bland lunch subs, but there is More. It's food consists of falafel, gyro, plates, salads, etc. The turkish food flare makes it stand out from the usual sub joint. I've complained before about the lack of Middle Eastern flavors in the Boston area, so the tasty Turkish dishes at Subs and More really fill a void. - Chicken Kebabs were flavorful and tender (though a bit small) - Kofte (grilled beef meatballs) had a nice caramelized flavor with the tasty hints of cumin and parsley - Falafel was crisp and very subtly flavored (I guess to help focus more on the dips - would love to get an expert opinion here...should falafel be strongly flavored, or more subtle?) - Havuc Kavurmasi (carrot and garlic yogurt) was delicious and unique - Hummus was very tasty and presumably homemade - Rice was very rich (cooked in broth with turmeric?) and was devoured by the kids - More Syrian bread please with each entree! - Salad was run of the mill, but at least very fresh Prices were higher than you might expect from a place called Subs and More, but actually are very reasonable considering the quality of the food. (The subs themselves are comparable with other take out places) All in all - good stuff. Can't wait to try the rosemary chicken, the gyros, the musakka, the eggplant salad and the Turkish style sausage. Wow! What a treat!! My wife has spent much time in Israel and ice been there and Turkey a few times. With those experiences, I can honestly say this place serves tasty and fresh Mediterranean food. For lunch we got the chicken schwarma plate, rosemary chicken plate, and the falafel plate for me, my wife, and our two children under 4; they are big eaters. We got the smaller plates and still could not finish it all. The rosemary chicken was the best with the falafel next best. I ordered the schwarma and thought it was just fine. After tasting the others and some sides, perhaps my opens were set too high. The carrot sauce that came with the falafel plate was a revelation. A mild carrot flavor with perhaps some yogurt and other spices was the highlight for me. I had never tasted anything like it before, so I'm having trouble breaking down the ingredients. My wife guessed yogurt, but I wouldn't have been able to detect that by sight or taste. Overall, it was slightly sweet and zesty. It could have come with more. The hummus was some of the best I've had in the U.S. to date. Still cannot match the good hummus houses in Tel Aviv. Prices are good. Only four tables and no bathroom - you have to go to the Subway next door - do it to remind yourself of how fake Subway is and how real the food here is. The place should really be named Turkish food and more :) This is a great place to pick up a quick lunch or dinner. We got the Falafel wrap and the Sutan Pie. Both were super delicious. They make their falafels slightly different from the Big Fresh way. I think the falafels here are bigger and way crispier. I also loved the veggies and spicy sauce that was in the wrap as well. The spicy sauce is more like a spicy home made mayo? Very delicous! The Sutan Pie is a little hard to describe. There is ground meat wrapped in a thin tortilla wrap, topped with fried eggplant and marinara sauce. The taste reminded me a little of eggplant parm, only soooo much better!! We also got a chick pea salad on the side. All the dishes were yummy. If you check in, you can get a 10% off coupon! The owner was very nice and helpful in explaining menu items to people. But, I'm leaving a 3-star review (again, I'd rather just write them an email but it wasn't listed) because the music videos playing are super distracting. I know this doesn't seem like much, but, I feel like I can't bring my kids there because the music videos feature sexual, romantic images that aren't appropriate for children. I took my dad here for father's day because he's been driving past it for the past few months and has wanted to go really badly. I got the chicken gyro. The meat was covered in curry and other seasonings and they were very generous with the hot and white sauces. Their white sauce isn't the best I've ever had, but it is by no means bad. My dad got a lamb kabob wrap. Instead of using the standard shaved meat they use big chunks of lamb which look like steak tips, which I was pretty surprised about. While it was pretty good the price was a little steep at almost $9. We also, split an order of onion rings which was probably the only bad thing we ordered. They were clearly the kind which comes frozen in a bag and they just heated them up, I won't be ordering those again for $3. My only complaints with the actual restaurant was the size (there's only 4 tables and they are so close together that you can barely move the chairs) and the heat. The place was so damn hot. They have an air conditioner but it was not running and the heat from the kitchen pours into the eating area. read more

I love this place, I can't believe I haven't written a review yet. I go here at least twice a month. While I've gotten various dishes, my go-to is a falafel wrap with just a little hot sauce, and huvac kavurmasi (carrot garlic yogurt salad). The falafel is the best I've had in America. Everything I've had has been great, and my family agrees. Sometimes I think they come see me just to eat here. Downsides would be the dining area - that is to say, there's isn't much. The place seats maybe 10, and it gets very, very crowded with people sitting to eat and people waiting to order/get their food. For someone with anxiety, like me, it can get a little overwhelming, but the food is worth it. Also, they close at 8pm Tuesday - Sunday, and that's kind a bummer because sometimes I don't leave work until 730ish. And Monday is the day when I'm most likely to forget to take anything out for dinner. Definitely my go-to place for meals before 8pm! read more

Is is better than anything else in the area. Yet, if I compare it to what I can get elsewhere, it's hard to say this place is outstanding. I enjoy the kofte either on a sandwich or platter. It is nicely spiced and has a delightful charcoal grilled flavor. And while the falafel is as good as you can get in Metro West, better can be found in Boston. The doner kebab is a let down as it is based on shaved steak -- the same as your local pizza joint uses to make their steak subs. I would hate to lose this place as I enjoy the food, but if I'm honest, it's just OK as an example of the cuisine. read more
