Came on a Saturday night with 8 people, luckily we got enough seats/tables for all of us. The shaved ice is really good, grass jelly and paste go well together. Takes a while to come out since they need to assemble so they give a buzzer to let you know when the order is ready. Nice hangout spot for a dessert.
Located in the Tangram mall, have their own seating area. It's big, and was pretty empty (winter time probably not the best for shaved ice). Clean seats and a few others waiting on their orders when I arrived. They have a digital kiosk to order as well as the counter. Oolong tea was ok, I do wish they had the jelly noodle from back in the day, but they do have the melon jelly. The shaved ice Signature specials are a little different than the one in Edison, interestingly enough, but maybe they changed the menu and I haven't been back since summer.
It is sad that other locations had to close and this is the closest meet fresh for me to enjoy a tofu pudding bowl. But the single kiosk for self ordering is convenient but it takes long to order and the inside seating is kind of awkward.
Self-serve dessert chain inside the mall. There's Sweets and Treats are always pretty standard and the same. I love the consistency that they always have and the rice balls are always delicious. We got our food quickly and we were able to find table for seven and it was a very comfortable and cozy experience. Make sure you clean up after yourself!
Great menu options and attentive staff. Store is by one of the mall entrances. I had a hot sweet soup with fresh taro and coconut milk and really enjoyed.
Finally found a Taiwanese shave ice place!!! So good!!! We got the make your own. It was perfectly sweet. Definitely worth the $$. The large can feed 5 people!!
Got there at 8pm. I was informed before purchasing that all orders are To Go. Due to closing at 9pm and having to clean the seating/ dining area. He was very professional and spoke clearly. I still ordered the shaved iced medium half mango half strawberry and it was delightful a pleasant treat. Not too sweet not to blah. I would be back I want to experience the dining.
Service was excellent. I try the mango and strawberry saved iced. It was really delicious. And the preparation was lovely. Places nicely It's a very spacious franchise. Lots of seating indoor available.
I used to come here (Tangram one) often and was there yesterday, probably for the last time. There were roaches all over the seating area in the back. You can see the multiple squashed roaches on the floor as well. Not just one bug, multiple, crawling all over the floors and on the walls. TBH, I almost didn't finish my dessert because I wanted to leave.
Taiwanese shaved ice from Meet Fresh is enormous. I got the Pudding and Q Mochi Shaved ice which also comes with mini sweet potato and taro balls, crystal jelly and topped with a scoop of ice cream. The shaved ice is drizzled with condensed milk. This item is one to share. Even with two people, we struggled to finish it!
Meet Fresh is a classic for Asian dessert. This location is located on the second floor of the Tangram Mall, so great for a break while walking all around Flushing. They offer a variety of desserts from egg waffle to soft serve to shaved ice to tofu pudding. Three of us shared the large Black Sugar Boba Milk Tea Shaved Ice ($17.95), which was more than enough for us. It could probably feed even more, but we were already stuffed. The shaved ice itself was just OK, but the ice cream, pudding, and boba added some sweetness to the ice. I do wish it was a softer shaved ice, but still great on a hot day and perfect to share in a group. Overall, I enjoy the variety that Meet Fresh offers for Asian desserts.
I'm usually not a fan of shaved ice but Meet Fresh does their shaved ice right. On a Saturday afternoon after lunch, my friends and I shared a large thai tea shaved ice with additional herbal jelly and taro ball topping. For ~24 dollars this was easily shared amongst our group of five and there was plenty to go around. The shaved ice itself is evenly flavored by the thai tea syrup and there was a large variety of toppings already included such as the custard pudding, tapioca, mochi balls, sago, and ice cream. The mochi balls were particularly satisfying and had the perfect QQ texture. There's no table service and our group opted to order on the digital kiosk. The limited employee interaction we had was friendly and the person behind the counter clarified the toppings that were already included in our shaved ice. The ambiance is casual and the place has several tables. Our group didn't have to wait on a table. Thanks to Meet Fresh, I have opened my mind again to shaved ice and at the same time satisfied my Asian dessert craving. Definitely worth another visit.
I always crave Meet Fresh and it's the perfect post meal dessert! It's not too heavy and just the right amount of sugar! I usually get their signature with grass jelly, taro and sweet potato balls, and sometimes add on fresh taro paste, almond pudding, and even ice cream! They have a good amount of seating inside which makes it a great place to relax and catch up with friends over dessert! Service is always fast and the place is clean. Overall, a solid place for dessert!

Always wanted to try Meet Fresh and was excited to see that the one in Tangram is nice, close, and spacious! I came on a weekday night with my friends after dinner and there were no guests sitting or ordering. They have a kiosk for you to order from by yourself but it is set very high so it may be out of reach for some people. When I tried to order with the cashier at the counter, I was not greeted with a hello or a smile. The lady would give me one word responses and not accommodate me in any way. I've been wanting to try their shaved ice specially the Thai Tea series so I was pleasantly surprised that they still have it. I ordered the Thai Tea Shaved Ice in the medium size and it was about $20~. This was the smaller size out of the two, but even so it is meant for at least two people. It comes with toppings such as pudding, boba, mochi, sago, scoop of vanilla Ice-Cream, and coconut flakes. I had no idea it came with coconut flakes as that's a big no-no for me. I'm also not a fan of boba, mochi, or sago but the lady said they are irreplaceble. I really wanted grass jelly but I did not want to pay an additional cost when there are so many toppings already in the bowl I cannot finish. The pudding and vanilla Ice-Cream are good and elevates the whole dessert platter, but the ice melts pretty quickly when it's just one person eating it. I wished they have a small size for a cheaper price for people who just wants to eat alone because it's crazy that my dessert is more expensive than my dinner! Also, I wished the employees were more accommodating with the toppings. It was a decent experience overall as the place is very spacious and comfortable. My friends and I enjoyed our desserts and catching up with each other. There is no restroom inside the dessert shop. You have to walk out to the shared one with the whole mall next to the food court. read more
Got the ube & taro paste signature dessert. The ube was delicious! It also comes with herbal jelly and mochi. I wish that Meet Fresh would let you substitute toppings as I'm not a fan of herbal jelly. They're pretty strict with no changes, so just a heads up! read more

Meet Fresh is a chain known for its Taiwanese desserts. They have everything from drinks to shaved ice to grassy jelly desserts and more. It's a great addition to Tangram which has a multitude of restaurants inside and even a food court which has even more food and tons of ice cream shops but Meet Fresh stands out in its dessert which is different from the other shops. Like in the name, the dessert is certainly refreshing. One of my favorites to get from the menu is their icy grass jelly desserts, and can eat it on a hot or cold day. It's a great not too sweet dessert to end a meal or have as a snack. It's a pretty big serving that can be shared and they don't skimp on the toppings! The boba and taro balls have a great chew. The taro paste is warm, which I don't mind but I do wish that it was softer and more creamy. Everything is made fresh to order and they work pretty quick to get your order ready. I love their desserts and have gotten it multiple times already! The only con is that they don't let you swap any toppings out if you pick a specific item but you can always add more toppings for additional cost. read more

Meet Fresh located inside Tangram mall. Very clean and aesthetic. There is a self order kiosk for easy ordering. Fast service on a Friday afternoon. Ordered the soft serve with boba and caramel pudding. The soft serve was really good -- milky and sweet, not like your typical vanilla ice cream. The boba is soft and chewy. The pudding in the bottom is so good. Interested in trying their milk tea soup series next. I feel their menu seem to be more extensive than other locations I've been to. read more

I loved the Pudding and Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice! I ordered a medium and it was huge! It can easily be shared between 4 people. There is a great balance in flavors and texture. The caramel flavor really added to how much I enjoyed the shaved ice. It was also so refreshing and the mochi and pudding was amazing as well. 10/10 for me and I would definitely come back if I was craving shaved ice ! One thing to note is that the mangoberry shaved ice is only seasonal and this location is inside Tangram.. read more

Stumbled upon this Meet Fresh location in the Tangram mall and was super excited! Meet Fresh is well know for their shaved ices. On this occasion we tried their special Ube Shaved Ice and it was very good! The only improvement we thought could be made was the shaved ice texture itself. Normally, Taiwanese shaved ice is very fluffy and soft and Meet Fresh usually does a good job of serving that texture. At this location however the ice felt very coarse and crunchy. Other than that, everything else tasted good. Service could have been slightly better and friendlier. read more

I've been here twice with my family and it's delightful. We normally stop here for dessert after eating dinner in the area. The desserts can come out extravagant, are reasonably priced, and refreshing. There are plenty of authentic Asian options (drinks, teas, ice cream, mochi, desserts, etc.) to choose from and the staff makes the dessert in a reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend stopping by if you or your group want to find something tasty, and refreshing, but not too sweet. Housed in Tangram mall and plenty of seating, too! We've ordered the following: Double Taro Signature: two ice creams (vanilla and taro) with herbal grass jelly and soft chewy rice cakes. I only recently started eating grass jelly and it's such a comfort food especially since it's served cold with shaved ice under the grass jelly. **They also have another version of this, but it's ube and taro paste instead of ice cream.** This is perfect for two people. Black Sugar Boba Milky Shaved Ice: If you are a fan of black sugar boba tea, then this dessert is the one for you. You can decide the sugar level for your desserts so you can make them less sweet if you prefer. The large presentation is breathtaking and feels like a volcano with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. There are a lot of brown sugar tapioca pearls at the bottom and plenty of shaved ice and pudding on the side. Give this one a try if you are a fan of black sugar boba tea. A group of 4 can comfortably eat the large size or a group of 3 for the medium size. Mango Milk Shaved Ice: We ordered this and it's perfect if you want a refreshing mango dessert. There's so much mango, that you might get tired of it. BUT it's mango season right now so it's perfectly in season and a must-try. Under the mango juices that are flowing down like a volcano (with a scoop of vanilla on top) is shaved ice. You can adjust your sugar level. It's the Taiwanese version of Korean bingsu (but many Asian countries took different influences from one another so whatever). The regular size is perfect for a table of 3-4. Black Sugar Boba Fresh Milk: It's good, but you can also get this pretty much anywhere in the area and it's pricey. I will be back when I'm craving desserts again. read more
Came here on a Tuesday at 3:25pm and ordered mango strawberry shaved ice with 1/2 sugar. They told us later that they didn't have mango and we have to compromise with grapes. The shaved ice took 30 minutes to take which is pretty ridiculous for a dessert only place. The shaved ice was overly sweet. read more

Meet Fresh is located in Tangram mall. My friends and I came here around 7:30pm on Wednesday right before Thanksgiving. The line wasn't too long and there were tables available. However after we ordered and got our desserts which was pretty quick, the line grew. There is a kiosk where you can order items or you can order with the cashier. We ordered the Icy Grass Jelly Signature and the Crystal Mochi Milk Shaved Ice. The Icy Grass Jelly Signature has chewy taro balls, herbal jelly, and refreshing herbal grass jelly shaved ice. It came with Meet Fresh's signature coffee creamer and we poured it into the dessert. The Crystal Mochi Milk Shaved Ice has Crystal Mochi, fragrant red beans, mochi rice balls, sweet and chewy melon jelly, and ice cream. The portions were a great size for sharing. Both desserts were very yummy and delicious. It wasn't too sweet. The ingredients were fresh. We got little bowls to use. Meet Fresh was very cozy and we stayed for a while. We had to bus our own table after we were done. read more
I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. Some friends and I stopped in during a Chinatown food crawl. I had never really had a dessert like this and was not interesting in trying it since I don't love coconut milk, but I'm so glad I did. I found this to be refreshing and delicious! Loved meet fresh in China, and was happy to try it in the states. I think we got the double taro signature (with puréed taro instead of ice cream) and it was delicious. Love the not-too-sweet chewy goodness of the mochi pieces swimming in cold grass jelly. Meet fresh needs to expand here in the states so I can always find it! read more
The chocolate boba caramel jelly soft serve was perfect. It was my first time tasting such combinations and it was my most memorable bite from the trip. It was easy to order even for English only speakers. I like they had an English description in their menu. O will definitely be back when back in Queens. read more
Located inside Tangram mall 2/F. First time visit. I ordered Ube and Taro paste signature $12. I found out later you can order from the one self serve koisk or order directly from the cashier. Pro: - very tasty. Not too sweet. Perfect for me. - Fair portion for the price I paid. Enough for 2-3 people. Con: - I waited at the cashier spot for at least one minute. Two lady workers were busy making dessert. They saw me but ignored me. I understand I have to wait but they should at least acknowledge me. Not specially friendly when I ordered either. One star deducted. - no one cleans the table. Floor was dirty. Tip: they have reward program. read more
This is an awesome place to come for some sweets. I have memories of coming to the chains in Taiwan when I was younger and it brings back many memories. I LOVE their taro shaved ice but damn it ain't cheap. I don't remember how much exactly but do remember thinking "you're kidding right? For shaved ice?!" It's very filling however and super good. Keepin it real in Flushing Really want to give it a 4 or 5 cause the dessert itself was pretty on point. They did a great job with the design of the space allowing people to constantly go in and out. The tables were sticky and chairs were all over the place, they said they will call our number when the food is ready but never did, so by the time we got our dessert it wasn't in the best shape but still good nonetheless. The return area was a mess too at the time of our visit. I'll probably visit again since Tangram is so new and there's new spots poppin up left and right. and for now.... it's aiight read more
We got three of their shaved ice and the brown sugar one is probably my favorite. It has the most flavor but kinda disappointing since it's literally just a huge chunk of ice for the price you pay. Despite this, the shaved ice still looks really good and the toppings were alright! There were a lot of people at this location and at night too. read more

Note: 1) Orders take 30-40 minutes (this is real!) so be prepared to wait. 2) Cash only for orders under $10. Can use credit card for over $10. 3) There is only 1 kiosk which the touch screen didn't always work. 4) The kiosk doesn't have all the items on the menu (ie caramel pudding milk tea). There is a paper on the wall with items not available and a paper taped saying order takes 30 minutes. 5) This location doesn't have coffee. I been wanting to try this Taiwanese dessert place in the new Tangram mall. There is a Brand Anniversary promotion where you spend over $25 and include a coco sago series order to get a free reusable straw set until 9/20/22. When you bring in your reusable straw, you get a free topping on an in store purchase until 12/31/22. I asked for a white color straw and ended up with a tan straw. Oh well. It took a while for customers to order or once he/she hears their order takes 30-40 minutes than people leave. They might want to have someone hand out menus and advise customers of the time it takes if there is a long line instead of placing their order than canceling it. When I did place my order, the Coco Sago Series isn't listed on the menu so the cashier had to list the items (ended up with a drink instead of shaved iced). I got the Coco Sago mini Q. My friend wanted the coffee milk tea though this location doesn't serve coffee. I wanted to order an egg waffles but this store don't make it for takeout, only for delivery. I guess I could stand in the street and ask for a delivery. Didn't understand this one since I haven't has an egg waffle in a long time. We ordered 5 items: - Caramel pudding milk tea: best of all the drinks for my friend. It is surprisingly good, not too sweet. - Coco Sago Mini Q - Fluffy Green Tea - Fluffy Black Tea - Fresh Milk and Grass Jelly Herbal Tea - I liked this the best Took pictures of each drink but I didn't identify which drink since I tried everyone of them. I have been looking for a robust, filling dessert spot for a long time. Kulu was okay back then but I wanted something more robust and Meet Fresh is it. I saw this on the Tangram Mall website and was excited to try it. It's tucked away on the side, not near the food court, and can be hard to spot due to the construction taking place next door. It's an open, airy location with an ordering kiosk in the front. I opted to order with a person because the wait for the kiosk can take some time. The seating turns around quickly. The desserts also came out in decent time. Double taro signature ($11.50) - wow this was so good. Our little family slurped away at this goodness. The amount of ingredients in this dessert is so generous. The taro balls, taro paste, vanilla ice cream, grass jelly and grass jelly shaved ice is so good together. It's filling, cooling and so satisfying. Everything was really fresh. Original egg waffle ($8.25) - I thought it would be generic and overpriced but this was also quite delicious. Big piece rolled into a small plastic cup. It's got a super crunchy exterior but delightfully fluffy inside. Not sure how they got this texture but it was really good and fun to rip apart. Desserts can add up in price but the ingredients were fresh and we were all quite happy with our selection. They text you when your order is ready and check your receipt to confirm. Desserts are placed on a tray with plastic spoons and you return the tray to an area on the side when finished. I recommend studying the menu before arriving or ordering as it can be overwhelming with the amount of options available. read more
The quality of the ice is horrible, chunky and not finely shaved. The establishment should upgrade its machines. The mung bean snacks are served frozen! There is no excuse for that. I brought friends to this place and was thoroughly embarrassed by the quality of the deserts. read more
My first impression is that they need to be more organized and also clean the restaurant better. Like someone designated to wiping down the tables and sweeping the floors. Making sure that everything like chairs and tables are where it needs to be. The tables were a bit gross as it wasn't wiped down when people left. We weren't sure where to throw out or leave our bowls and trays. When ordering on the tablet tthat was a mess as there's a sign that says if you want to order mango items you will need to wait 30 minutes. Im like, I see... so people left after reading that. But maybe that was a tactic to have less people order it as they were running out of the item or who knows what else? Unto the food or dessert item. I didnt particularly like it as it wasn't to my taste. We got a hot tofu and taro dish and it was tasteless. I expected more. Maybe I'll try it one more time and order something else on the menu.
