The first time I ever had Tiger Sugar was at Tiger Sugar's flagship location at 40-10 Main Street in Flushing that opened in 2019. I remember waiting on the long lines to get Tiger Sugar and on some nights, I was told they ran out of boba near closing. Ever since then, Tiger Sugar is one of my favorite bubble tea spots. Tiger Sugar has opened many more stores since then as well. Unfortunately, in 2022 a massive fire impacted more than 30 small businesses in the building and Tiger Sugar was no more. They re-located to the New World Mall Food Court, 136-20 Roosevelt Ave Unit 012 in Flushing and is still operating there. Recently on May 25th, Tiger Sugar opened a location on 135-45 Roosevelt Ave in Flushing and also offer pastries to enjoy with your drink. Tiger Sugar replaces New Flushing Bakery whom I used to purchase really delicious egg tarts from. I was so excited to try their pastries. When you walk in, you'll see the pastries on display. There are a variety of pastries such as egg tarts, croissants, eclairs, pineapple buns, and cream puffs. Since I walked in soon after they opened for the day, the staff were still adding items to the display case. It is good to know goods are made daily and are fresh. I ordered their egg tart strawberry, croissant classic, and cream puff chocolate. The egg tart strawberry came in its own plastic container. The croissant classic and cream puff chocolate were put together in a bag. The strawberry was fresh and the egg tart was more of a pudding consistency than a typical egg tart. I really enjoyed the flakiness of the croissant classic. I'm glad I tried it and looking forward to trying some other items next time. This location is similar to how New Flushing Bakery was set up. It is takeout only and a bit narrow. There are no tables or any seats. The tiger plushie sitting on a cream puff is so cute.

    Hello Kitty Tiger Plushies

This past Sunday was actually the second day of the grand opening event. After seeing a friend's pic of the Hello Kitty Tiger Plush for the 1st 10 customers who made a drink purchase, that was when I knew I had to be one of the 1st 10 people in line tomorrow just to get my hands on the limited quantity plushie. Conveniently located literally right by the subway when you come up from the entrance/exit. There's only a little standing room right from where you can go in as there're no seats of course. In the middle of the boba shop, there was a giant stuffed tiger along with other smaller tiger plushies. Got in front of the store early on, so many hours way before noon had arrived. Waited and waited as it got colder and rainier. Half an hour before the store was about to open, the staff had only started to hand out #s to each person down the line as to keep everything in order/under control. Then, it was FINALLY time to go inside and we had started ordering our drinks by the cashier. After each drink purchase, everyone in line got his/her gift with purchase according to which number they were in line. #1-10 Customers: Hello Kitty Tiger Plushie #11-30 Customers: Smaller Tiger Plushie #31-100 Customers: $12 Value Small Tiger Gachapon Figurine 1st 100 ppl will get a free drink voucher for next time. Fast service from staff. You can buy drinks with either cash and/or credit/debit card as accepted forms of payment. Bought an iced passion fruit green tea. Have never noticed so much tea flavor from their fruit teas before. So happy to have been one of the 1st 10 people in line and getting the Hello Kitty Tiger Plushie!

The feedback is not getting rectified as there are several reviews on the service, and it still hasn't changed when I went. The service was nonexistent. I came in to deadpan stares. I would have ignored this if it wasn't for the rude attitude from the one female store clerk. I realized I forgot to change the milk after ordering and when I told her, she goes "Too late, already made it." And that will be the last time I even take a look at this store. Tiger Sugar's drinks are great, but with multiple locations, this particular one will definitely not be one to get it from.

This is a fairly new store after the last storefront on the next block over burned down. It is a large tiger sugar with a nice baked goods selection. I tried the strawberry cream drink with mocha and the signature cream puffs. I've enjoyed all the drinks I've tried at tiger sugar and this visit was no exception. The signature cream puff had a brownsugar boba tasting filling which I also enjoyed. It's right next to the subway entrance so a really nice way to say goodbye to flushing after every outing there

Came here for tigersugar everytime I visit flushing. When you walk into the store you will see a huge tiger plushie and a ton of hello kitties. This spot is amazing and quiet. You can order non-lactose milk products for an extra cost. Everything comes fast. Customer service is on point.

Egg custard is my favorite. It's so creamy and delight. I don't drink bubble tea so often but it's fascinating to me.

No real interaction with the staff but they are efficient. Place is clean with some space for seating. Funny conversation to eavesdrop on but a couple was on a date and the girl was talking about her psychedelic experience doing mushrooms and an alien god judging her about her network of friends...I normally don't eavesdrop but couldn't help it in such a small sitting area

This location is accessible via A train at 42nd Street Port Authority. Upon arriving there was a woman in front of me arguing with the staff persistently haggling the price to be lowered, but to no avail. Woman, no means no! There are other bubble tea businesses within the locale that may appease your needs, but not this particular Gong Cha whom apologized for the inconvenience of the inability to lower the price on the product ordered. As I waited patiently, I took photos of this business' environment. The staff stated the cash register is not working and currently unable to accept either credit or debit cards, but cash only payments. Ergo, I was unable to obtain a sales receipt nor a drink label printed. I wonder if the staff reboot the register or check their internet connection to be offline as the cause of non-functioning O/O/O. [1] Customer service is average. Well... if the staff can lower the price for one customer why not lower it for ALL customers? Surely, why not make my drink order as inclusion for lowering the price, please? Hell no, of course not! The conclusion was ironclad. In the real world, this cannot happen. As I stood on line waiting for this woman to let go and walk away from her argument I had shrunk to my own gnawing thoughts. I took photos of the atmospheric environment. There is a cute signage: "Bubble tea where refreshment meets creativity." The pink metal water bottle is very adorably cute which is something that I would certainly purchase. Peach green tea, medium $7.25 My favorite default topping grass jelly (aka herbal jelly) loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my standard request for $0.75 which was good, but not served chilled. At 30% sugar level request, it was slightly higher in sugar content. Former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg would shake his head at me in disbelief with disapproval and disappointment for consuming this excessively sugary drink. The peach green tea was not the cause of the sweetness but a man-made sugar embed measurement error. Nevertheless, this Gong Cha satisfied my bubble tea fix as it is now my addiction - in addition to my other addiction, writing. [1] O/O/O = Out Of Order

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.
