I had been meaning to stop by Meet Fresh for a while, so I walked in with decent expectations. Unfortunately, things went downhill almost immediately. We weren't greeted by anyone when we entered, no hello, no acknowledgment, nothing. It's a small thing, but it sets the tone and what management cares about in this business. When our order was ready, we headed up to the counter to grab our drinks, and the customer service did not improve. The drink we were handed was made incorrectly, and when we brought it to their attention, there was no apology, no "let me fix that," not even a nod of acknowledgment. What happened next genuinely surprised me: instead of remaking it fresh, they poured the drink into a separate container and microwaved it before handing it back to re-serve. I've been to a lot of dessert and tea spots, and that was a first. To round things out, the space itself felt stuffy and a little uncomfortable, which didn't help an already underwhelming visit. I live 5 minutes away from this establishment, and I ordered the cold coco sago soup signature. What arrived at my home was this sludge of a soup, and it wasn't even cold. Makes no sense as it was delivered right away once it was prepared and I live five minutes away unless ice can magically all melt and become luke warm in the span of 10 minutes. They have a lot of different options, including ice cream, drinks, and red bean soup. You can customize and build your own as well. Dairy-free options available too. I got the red bean soup with rice cakes and lychee jelly and it was delicious. They have a good amount of tables inside, and there's self serve kiosks to order. One of my favorite places to go whenever I have sweet cravings. I usually come here with friends and the servings size are large enough for all of us (3-4ppl). Generous serving of ice cream on top of sweetened shaved ice with other toppings on the side. In my experience, it hasn't been too busy, but the plaza it's located in can get crowded, making finding parking difficult. You generally order on a separate machine near the door and they are supposed to text you when your order is ready but most of the time, I just go up to the counter when I see it's ready. If you need anything, the peeps at the desk are helpful and nice. Small shop but plenty of tables inside and out. Great place for friends hasn't outs. There were a lot of seats and tables, some large community tables, and some small for smaller parties. It took some minutes for the crew to make these items from scratch. They'll call out your number, although, young bro said you'll be notified by text. Nah, it didn't go like that. I was hearing them bark out the order numbers. I went to the pick up area to get my Fluffy winter melon tea and a bowl of customized red bean hot soup with 3 add-ons (taro small, taro reg, and extra red bean). My girl didn't even eat all of it. Alright, no prob. Next time, we're going to have sushi like I wanted. All the other restaurants were also hoppin'. There were waiting lines galore in the rain, craziness... Each order coming out of the kitchen was artistic making me want to snap a photo of every exotic treat. You get the fancy nostalgic Disney dessert magic feel here with an affordable price. Music to vibe to and chill lighting making this a great spot to bring some friends after a movie or a sweet retreat to spoil your girl. meet fresh has always been a reliable spot for both hot and cold desserts and drinks. they are especially great for groups. since gong cha closed, they are basically the only place in irvine (not fact checked) to still have wintermelon drinks (they have a whole series of drinks which is absolutely amazing). i always get the fluffy wintermelon. read more

The winter melon tea is very refreshing. For me it's still pretty sweet even with 1/2 the sugar so next time I will order it with 1/4 of sugar. Double Taro Signature!!! That is the best item on their menu. We love the double scoops of taro. It adds so much texture and additional flavor to the dessert. The food and drinks are always SOOO GOOD. and I usually don't do this but the restroom alone has knocked this down to three stars... i would give it a 1 from the restroom's lack of sanitation alone. :( right when you open the door the room reeked of urine, the entire floor is super wet with what i assume is pee. If you can brave traffic jamboree, this is a unique dessert place. I mostly come here if I have a craving for something mochi like or herbal jelly. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the tofu pudding in the menu. They now have a self service kiosk ordering system, but when I went only one kiosk was working so cold sweats as a line formed. The kiosk is a bit janky, the flow is a bit like a drop down menu and doesn't have much visuals ( more menu items and words and sometimes seems translated). I liked their ipads before more. But you can conveniently pay and do everything in one go, then sit down and pick up your order when your number is called. There's plenty of wooden booth seating inside, but it does get crowded. The vibe is casual and family friendly. I always get the winter melon tea but I recommended lower sweetness ( less flavor, but it is very sweet).
