[SERVICE] This location of Meet Fresh is located in Diamond Jamboree so its always usually pretty packed whenever I decide to visit. However, the customer service is always really friendly and I can tell they are trying their best to work really fast and get their orders out. My order came out almost immediately after I to the order in! [PARKING] Since this location is Diamond Jamboree there is a huge parking lot located directly right in front of the store. There is also a parking lot directly behind the plaza that is multiple stories which has a lot of parking space. However, since this is plaza is located near a plaza it is usually very busy almost every night and especially over the weekends. [FOOD] If you enjoy grass jelly and a mixture of assorted mochi and shaved ice, you would really love this place! I always come here for something light and refreshing especially after a heavy meal. My personal favorite is the Signature Icy Grass Jelly ($7~). They also offer a lot of hot desserts and drinks as well! [AESTHETIC] I think they stay pretty traditional to their theme of an authentic restaurant, its not most over top and decorative place that would be a perfect picture anywhere you look. I love Meet Fresh. The best thing about it is that they have desserts and teas that other boba places do not have. Favorite drink is fresh milk wintermelon with mini taro balls! Taro balls are so good because they are not sweetened and go well with a sweet drink. They use quality teas and have amazing shaved ice. The only problem I have with Meet Fresh is that the customer service could really be improved. Servers are usually not very nice and rush customers. Can come off as a little rude. I love their herbal jelly and tofu pudding. Their cold desserts are better than the hot ones. The last couple of times I'd been here, the taste hasn't been as good. Have been here before and had a pretty average experience, but my boyfriend and I were craving some Taiwanese desserts, so we decided to come back today. Rather than ordering the taro balls like we did last time, we decided to go with the almond shaved ice ($7.80), which was a great call. The almond shaved ice was huge, with a scoop of almond ice cream, almond pudding, egg pudding, Q mochi, taro balls, and noodle jelly along with the actual mountain of ice. The shaved ice was really good, and all of it was actually flavored which is pretty rare with shaved ice! A lot of places don't put enough flavoring and the center of the pile of ice often ends up just being plain ice. The toppings were also really good, with my favorites being the almond pudding and the Q mochi. My boyfriend and I, both big eaters, were both stuffed after we finished everything. Highly, highly recommend the almond shaved ice although I'm sure their other shaved ices are just as great. Will definitely be back again! read more

If you like rice cakes and like not too sweet desserts, this is your go to spot probably. I'm not Taiwanese but the asian persuasion here is strong. We got a shaved ice with an assortment of mochi and some stuff that I'm not sure what it even is but it tastes nice. The chewy texture helps offset the gritty shaved ice. I wish it was shaved a bit finer as well as having the condensed milk or flavorings be more evenly distributed. There were times where I was just eating ice, but whenever I got a bite of mochi or ice cream with the ice, it was great. The boba here isn't bad either - good springy tapioca balls in tea heavy drink. Not sure what the difference between fresh milk tea and the premade stuff is (powdered creamer vs real milk?). We've always wondered what this place was all about, crazy line, always crowded so we decided to give it a shot. After waiting for a few minutes we saw the self service and it was super easy to use. I got the Herbal Jelly Option #6 because I'm carb-averse, and would recommend you do the same if you want to avoid too many starchy toppings. A taste of Taiwan in Irvine. I'm a huge fan of herbal grass jelly and Meet Fresh has the best texture and taste. I usually get the Herbal Jelly Signature: Herbal jelly, taro balls, sweet potato balls, over a bed of shave ice. It's incredibly satisfying, especially on a hot summers day. I'd give a higher rating, but their drinks are a total hit or miss, service isn't the best, and the restaurant is a mess. Note: Lines can be long, depending on time of day. I'm still hopeful for this store and willing to try their other items. I look forward to trying their shave ice next time. read more

This place isn't that great in Taiwan so I wasn't expecting anything crazy. I had a little glimmer of hope though considering 85 does so well here but sucks in Taiwan also. It was a cold night so decided to finally try it for dessert after sushi. I ended up getting the hot tofu with sweet potato and taro balls and added boba to it. They wrote it had mini boba in Chinese but in reality they only offer the regular big boba. I was kinda excited because it looked like the portion would be pretty big but was completely underwhelmed when my order was ready. They gave us two sweet potato balls and like 10 taro ones. Good amount of boba though. All of it was on the bottom so when we got the bowl it just looked like straight up tofu that filled 2/3 of the bowl. The flavor wasn't bad at all and I would go back.....if it wasn't so expensive. I understand the cost of opening in that plaza in particular and all the cost of ingredients add up....but it's like a 700% increase from Taiwan and at least a 200% increase from places in the 626 area and such. Employees there were nice and patient. They have a sign that tells you to return the tray and dirty dishes to them (but nobody does). Help make their jobs easier! read more

After 30 mins of waiting in line, I finally got my dessert. When I asked her if I can get extra creamer, she THREW it to me angrily. She didn't even know how to say sorry to her customer after acting like no brain person. Everyone was standing in line can tell how rule she was. Friend introduced me to this place and I'm hooked . It's so good during all season. Hot or cold , I would never turn down meet fresh signature dessert. It's great when you're craving for desserts or a refreshment. I only tried their signature cold dessert and I always come back for it. It consist of herbal jelly, shave ice , sweet potato and taro balls . It's the perfect blend of sweetness . I normally don't like milk, but They also add milk on top of it . I usually ask for "extra brown sugar" cuz I like extra sweet but without the sweetness it's really refreshing . If you're a jelly lover , I suggest you try this place . One thing I don't like here is that it's always pack and finding parking in this plaza is cray. At least they make the dessert super fast . read more

HORRIABLE ATTITUDE STAFF OF ALL TOME Meet fresh management should really work on your employee training and staff education program. The staff here has no respect to the customer at all! I am a loyal customer of Meet Fresh global wise, and the locations in U.S. has the worst customer service. 2/16, I was in store at 11:05, and we waited for 5 minutes in line, one of the employee sees me, and told me there are close with a bad tone, I walked out, but then I think the tone really made me uncomfortable, so I walked back in and told her she should told us when we walk in or when we stand in line. She yelled at me said she was doing something else, she has no camera to check if there's more people walking in. I told her that her attitude is being weird, and she told me back because my attitude was weird to her. By the time I left the store, there's still more people standing in line, but no one acknowledge them that the store is closed already, with the front door open. Last year at meet fresh, the employee told another customer " I'm gonna ask you to leave your pet outside" this is not the kind of attitude that every/any customer is looking for or expecting. Please! Meet fresh management, take care of your employees and set up training program for them before work!! It's a nightmare for parking (unless you're like me and discovered the parking garage last minute) You're guaranteed to be driving around for a bit. This place makes the best Taiwanese style shaved ice in all of Orange County. The ice is fine and even flavored throughout. The mochi used is consistently amazing. It is perfectly made to be soft but still have a satisfying chew. The portions vary whether you wanted to order for yourself or for the whole group. It's great for all party sizes and is truly one of my all-time favorite dessert places in the Orange County area. One thing to note is the plaza is a hub for food and parking can be very hard to find. The plaza is never empty so if recommend the exercise of patience.
