I'm a big fan of tofu pudding and grass jelly; you can't go wrong with the signatures. This location is on the side of the river mark plaza. I usually frequent the Cupertino location, but this location is quiet, nice, clean and very bright! They also have specials specific to this location, so take advantage of that when you're here! I always by Meet Fresh and grabbed their hot grass jelly soup signature. It the perfect warm dessert and wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciated. The taro balls and boba had a great chewy texture that paired perfectly with the jelly base. Overall, it's a solid spot for a traditional treat when you want something simple and comforting. read more

Has 2 kiosks for self checkout, but you can always order with the cashier too. Is spacious inside good for large groups. If you buy something in Safeway the same day, and show your receipt, you will get 5% off your total. Same day only. read more

I got really pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A couple of days ago, we visited at 8:50 PM and the employee told us we had to arrive at least 15 minutes before closing. So we left. I'm okay with that. I understand they want to get off work on time. Today, we came back again. After ordering, the employee simply placed empty bowls on the table WITHOUT making our food. We waited for about 20 minutes and then asked if our order was ready. ONLY THEN did he start making it. This guy is the same guy who told us that we should have arrived earlier. We ordered three items, but ALL of them were missing ingredients! For example, where are the sesame balls in my hot red bean soup? Where are they??? WHERE?????????????? We love Meet Fresh! It's hard to find Taiwanese dessert like this outside of Taiwan, so thank goodness for this chain. We love the mini taro balls and the potato. There are always deals here too. The environment here is clean and very accommodating if you want to use your laptop here! There are convenient outlets at the round tables. read more

Just ordered. We'll see if it's good. The prices should be posted not just shown on the ordering kiosk. When people are ordering and waiting, it's nerve racking to have to decide on the spot trying to keep the price in mind. Another thing that was disappointing was the picture of the shaved ice. I got mochi. On the display picture it shows like 5-6 pieces that it comes with. I paid $1.25 extra for it and got 2! Not worth it! read more

This is a Taiwanese dessert place. You'll find different types of milk teas, shaved ice and smoothies topped with mochi, jellies, boba. They have unique flavors of cream, condensed milk, sweetened red beans and teas. Lots of big and smaller tables. The place is clean and staff are patient and friendly. It's located in a shopping plaza with other restaurants and grocery store so lots of parking. There's always some specials going on. read more

i came to this location because the location i always went to in cupertino closed down sadly but at least it is still close by. they have all the same desserts and drinks and it is always so tasty and yummy. the place itself is also in a plaza and the location is really big. service is also quick and nice. you order on the kiosk. read more

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant for lunch today, never expecting that a simple meal would turn into such a humiliating and upsetting ordeal that left me heartbroken and wronged. After placing our order, both of us started feeling stomach discomfort and needed to use the restroom. A Mandarin-speaking female staff member named Jamie (we weren't sure of her position) approached my boyfriend while I was in the stall, asking when I would come out and whether we had already ordered. Since I've been suffering from gastrointestinal issues and have to take medication, I needed about 15 minutes in the restroom. Her questions made me feel extremely anxious, and I also worried about holding others up. I immediately asked my boyfriend if anyone was waiting for the restroom, and he confirmed there was no line. I then stayed in the stall and had my boyfriend tell Jamie we had already placed our order. But just two or three minutes later, instead of a polite knock, someone started slamming hard on the restroom door repeatedly. I was in the middle of using the toilet, and the sudden loud banging made my heart race violently with intense panic. All I could think about was the terrifying possibility of her bursting in and catching me in a vulnerable, undressed state. Her behavior was completely rude, abrupt, and incredibly offensive. Fearing I might be inconveniencing others, I quickly gathered my things and rushed out. Jamie was standing in the hallway staring at me as I exited. She then went into the restroom herself a few minutes later--and walked out after just one minute. By then, our food had arrived, and we were about to start our meal. But Jamie marched right over to me and began lecturing me loudly in public. She demanded that I "clean the restroom properly as if it were my own home" before leaving, claiming "everyone does this." Her words were laced with innuendos that implied I lacked basic manners and upbringing. The whole situation was utterly ridiculous and humiliating. Let me make this clear: 1. I was not using the restaurant's restroom without being a customer--we were paying patrons who had already ordered food. There was no one waiting for the restroom at all, so why did she slam on the door like that? She later claimed she was "worried something had happened to me," but she had just checked in with my boyfriend minutes earlier and knew I was suffering from stomach pain. There was absolutely no excuse for such rude and aggressive treatment of a paying customer. 2. Her demand that I "treat the restaurant restroom like my own home" is absurd. Do I have to pay for meals at my own home? Why on earth would a restaurant expect a customer to clean their public restroom? This request is completely unreasonable and preposterous. 3. As a paying customer, being publicly berated by a staff member--with veiled insults about my upbringing--speaks volumes about the restaurant's abysmal staff training. What kind of service staff publicly scolds the people who are paying their wages? We later asked to speak to a male manager about the incident. But Jamie was extremely confrontational the entire time, repeatedly interrupting me while I was talking to him. Instead of addressing my legitimate complaints and protecting a customer's rights, the manager blatantly took Jamie's side. His only attempt to "resolve" the issue was offering two free drinks to brush off the whole thing, which was nothing but a lazy, dismissive gesture. A restaurant that wants to thrive long-term must understand that respect is non-negotiable. Staff members are the face of a business, and it's clear this establishment cares nothing about treating its customers with basic decency. I will never step foot in this restaurant again, and I strongly advise anyone considering dining here to think twice--save your money, your mood, and your dignity. read more

I placed a pre-order for my mochi before the weekend by emailing shueidomanju@gmail.com, usually this is best if you want to make sure they don't sell out of the flavors you want. Service: I went during obon weekend so there was a long line. Last year they let people who pre-ordered skip the line and go straight up to pay and collect their order. Not this year, they made everyone stand in the same line and it took about 30 minutes. I don't think it's usually that busy, but this was a festival weekend. People working there were very friendly and patient when I asked them numerous questions about the menu. They made good recommendations after they figured out what I would like. I think we went on a day where they might've been short a few people, but we did wait over an hour for our order. From my observations there is a process for the tacos. They have to mold the ice cream in, then keep it in the freezer for a few minutes for it to hold its shape, and customize it after. If you're willing to wait that long for ice cream then I'd say this place is definitely worth it.

The employee was incredibly kind and even had me hover my hand over the rice to check the temperature. It was definitely still hot, so he happily packed the poke separately for us. I'm so glad he did because everything tasted great once we got home. The poke was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly saucy, which we loved. Comes with seaweed salad. While they don't offer many toppings and add-ons as a traditional poke shop, the quality and price make it an excellent value. It's actually perfect for my daughter since she prefers her poke without a lot of extras. We'll definitely keep coming back--not just for the mochi donuts, but for the poke bowls too!

Eventually, she agreed to remake it, but when it was brought back to the table, a passive agressive comment was made about how if it was cooked anymore it would be burnt. Which is ridiculous, considering our other crepe was clearly toasted a little too much! Afterward, that same nice girl (don't have her name is she is blonde) from the front came over to the table to check on me again and genuinely apologized for everything that happened with the kitchen. I know mistakes happen, things get busy, and maybe they were rushing to get food out. But please just recognize when a mistake is made instead of trying to convince someone they're imagining things when the food is clearly undercooked. The remade crepe came back looking perfect and tasting delicious. I wanted to give this 3 stars for the the attitude, but my love for the food and that incredibly sweet girl at the front kept it at a 4.

My experience at Meet Fresh was beyond frustrating. We waited over 30 minutes for a simple order of winter melon tea and shaved ice. Yes, 30+ minutes for something as basic as scooping some toppings, adding ice, and pouring in pre-made tea from a jug. And to make matters worse, the winter melon tea had to be remade twice because they got it wrong both times. The customer service here is absolutely atrocious. When my boyfriend went to ask about our order after waiting 20 minutes, he was told, "If you have no questions, please take a seat." Excuse me?! That was his question! To make it even more ridiculous, he noticed an empty and unlabeled cup just sitting there in the queue, untouched. When he asked if that was his drink, he was brushed off again and told to "wait for your number to be called." The sheer rudeness and lack of accountability are shocking. And it wasn't just us, as there was a line of frustrated customers waiting around, many of them also growing impatient with the service. It's not like this place was slammed with complex orders; the system is just broken, and the staff seems completely indifferent to the chaos they're creating. I will say, I did appreciate that when they finally got my drink right, it tasted good. But it should never take three tries to make a simple winter melon tea. Sure, the location has plenty of parking, but the real obstacle here is the endless wait and the growing crowd of angry customers who, like me, were wondering why it's so hard to get a basic drink.
