Meet fresh is an OG spot that I've been going since college for their desserts. I usually order the same thing every time because it's my favorite dessert to order which is the ice grass jelly signature. It's light and refreshing to eat especially during the summer to cool down the heat. As for the drinks, I would often get their herbal tea 50% sugar because it taste like grass jelly. Sometimes, I would also get their milk teas as well. Meet Fresh is located in the tea pot plaza in temple city and during their busy times, parking can be difficult. Been to this location multiple times and I would say they are pretty consistent. I like how this location opens late compared to their other nearby locations. This location doesn't really have any interactions with the workers as you can only order through their kiosk machines or online. I usually order their icy grass jelly signature bowl with a side of taro paste. The bowl itself comes with herbal blended ice, grass jelly, and taro/sweet potato balls. The portion is pretty big and the grass jelly is always fresh. The taro and potato balls are nice and chewy but don't have much flavor. I really like their taro paste. I think it gives a lot of flavor to this bowl. It also comes with half and half. I usually just get one half and half but when I go to the Arcadia location, I usually get two. Parking can be hard to find especially during Friday and Saturday night as they are located in the same plaza as other restaurants and planet fitness. I also think this location is the busiest out of their other nearby locations so be prepared to wait a bit for your order. Never tried Meet Fresh before and ended up here for dessert one evening thanks to a friend's recommendation. Plenty of seating for a boba shop, especially for large parties. Many booths and round tables. I love that Meet Fresh doesn't offer just boba but also other forms of tapioca desserts that aren't easily accessible in the US. There was a very large family of 20+ people that came before us so we had to wait 45 minutes for 3 basic milk tea boba drinks but I won't fault them for that since this was a Tuesday night and they only had two people on staff. My boba was good, not too sweet. However the boba was way too soft for my liking. I really appreciate that everything is made to order however. But like I said, wait times are a bit longer due to this. This particular location had a lot of their specials out of stock as well so I didn't get to try them. This $6.75 "ube milk tea" is just flavored and colored water. I have never tasted such a diluted milk tea. The drink is so diluted that I can't even taste any ube. It's so watered down that I tossed it into the trash immediately. The $10 grass jelly that we got was even more disappointing. There is no flavor at all in the weird mochi topping. The food was okay and fast BUT the cashier/front desk person was very rude and giving attitude. Me and my friends got there early before they opened but we were unaware so we opened the door because the door was UNLOCKED with the key still jammed in the lock and the worker told us they weren't open but in a rude tone and when we came back my friend went to ask where the utensils were after she ordered the worker pointed at it with attitude making an audacious face and overall just not being welcoming or friendly to us. We did not know how to read their order update status on the TV because we didn't even see our number on there. So we just waited to see a tray with 4 drinks. Be aware that you need a code to use the bathroom here and they want you to show your receipt first but sometime they won't ask for it. When our drink was ready, I went to grab it at the pickup location and saw someone order of the mochi shaved ice which looked delicious. I used to be a fan of Meet Fresh but I felt like the quality has been going down and prices have been going up. I came here at around 8pm on a weekday. It was getting a little busy. The kiosk station was crowded, people were taking their time to go through the menu there instead of looking at the menu first before heading to the kiosk. So it took us awhile to be able to make our order. I usually get the classic signature. This time I wanted to try the egg waffles. I ordered the Chocolate Deluxe. What a disappointment! First of all, the size was so SMALL for $9. The cup fell easily since the waffles and ice-cream on top was too heavy. The chocolate waffles were bitter and too crispy. The ice-cream was nothing extraordinary. The best part of this cup was the mixed nuts and the chocolate wafer rolls on top. I was excited to try this but really disappointed. read more

The taro paste has such an intense flavor without the texture being too mushy. Ambience: 3/5 - spacious with lots of seating. This place used to be one of my favorite dessert spots, but I feel like the experience of coming here has gone downhill. The menus don't list prices. Probably because the prices of everything are so high now, so you just order and get sticker shock when you get your receipt. Kiosks didn't work for me. Then when I went up to the counter to order, the guy working just had zero personality. Dining area was crowded and didn't seem clean. Bathrooms didn't have toilet paper or paper towels to dry hands. When I informed an employee, he just said sorry. No, "I'll get someone on it" or anything. So there's no one maintaining the restrooms. Desserts itself were ok. Came on a Sunday evening... there are 2 self ordering kiosks and I usually like to order at the register but it supposedly wasn't working. The lines to the kiosks were long. I was waiting patiently until I see a party come in and went straight to the register and ordered with the employee. They basically bypassed the kiosk lines and ordered before me and others waiting... I have gotten To-go many times (Cerritos location) and my order is usually a customized Icy Grass Jelly and a customized hot Grass Jelly. The price for the 2 are steep but I am usually okay since it's a treat-- $27 (for dessert) . I arrived home super excited and come to find out they skimmed me! At the Cerritos location, I get 2 separate bowls 1 of Icy Grass Jelly and 1 of the actual grass jelly and the toppings on the side. Call me a fat ass but the toppings were ridiculous. Don't order To-go at this location. Dine in orders are huge and shareable. To-go is for 1 person craving more... Parking tonight was insane! I did come on a Saturday night, and we circled around outside and then in the underground parking lot for a good 20 minutes, before finding a spot. The business itself was also very crowded and loud tonight. We used a kiosk to order our desserts and then waited to be texted for our orders. We ordered a hot signature red bean soup and my friends got the tofu pudding cold. The red bean soup was the perfect amount of sweetness, and the mixture of textures from the soft red beans to the chewy mochi and boba was amazing. But, the tofu pudding wasn't soft or silken, like we expected. It was very firm. I would reorder the red bean again, but skip the tofu next time. I did like that the restaurant had a separate hand washing station next to where trays are to be returned. There is also tons of seating (large and small), but every seat was taken tonight when I came around 7pm. All in all, pretty good place if you like traditional Taiwanese desserts. read more

i've been to this location quite a bit -- i lov how it's pretty big (and can get packed sometimes) and opens later than the rowland heights location; 10pm compared to 9pm. i usually order the icy grass jelly signature and that consists of jelly, 18 taro balls to be exact (my friends used to be employees lol), a smol lil cup of half & half, and your choice of ice level. the less ice, the more jelly they give! but honestly no nutritional value to me HAHA i wish there was more half & half like next time i'm bringing my own :3 other items on the menu are good too, like the boba drinks and egg waffles and such, but their signature food is what they're known for :-) lots of chinese speakers and families that come by ~ so it can be hella loud ~ kiosk order for easy access. read more
