Stop by here before dinner next door at Ipoh Kopitiam. You can find parking in the back or the underground parking lot. This is a nice cozy boba spot. Nice and clean. The one person that works there at the time of our visit was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the F10 - Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie and the H5 - Mango Lemon Slushy. Both were pretty tasty and refreshing.
This store is severely understaffed. There is only one person making the drinks and taking orders. I had to wait 35+ minutes for a drink. Store was mostly empty too.... The sole employee in the store was nice and very apologetic. Honestly, it must have been stressful for him to manage the store by himself, I can't blame him. The store management needs to consider hiring more staff, as waiting more than half an hour for a drink at an empty store is completely unacceptable. Also, they ran out of black tea, which is their signature drink...*insert surprised pikachu face* Taste wise, the drinks are ok. Not bad, but not amazing. Other tea shops in the surrounding area like Chicha, Molly, Formosa Aroma, and UG tea are much better experiences imo.
When I browse for a deal on app and Happy Lemon shows up and it's 0.1 mile from my location. Happy lemon is fairly new bubble tea shop at Alhambra originally from Taiwan. It's located inside Regent plaza. It's small, bright yellow, and looks clean. Service is friendly. The location does offer private parking at back. Please note they do not have restroom, but do have some small tables and seats. I ordered Okinawa milk tea with 75% sweetness and 75% ice plus boba. You need to shake the drink like 10 times and there is sugar syrup or honey at bottom. The drink itself is tasty, sweet, even the boba is very sweet. There is some honey or special sugar syrup taste. Boba is soft, and overall is tasty.
Okay!! So despite this place being open for a while, I've never had a drink here until now. I think my initial impression has already been that was just another boba shop in the area. But their new Mango Pandan Sticky Rice Smoothie piqued my interest and so I decided to give this place a try. So it's essentially a mango smoothie base with some bits of a Pandan flavored mochi along the side of the drink. It's much thinner than your typical mochi (don't expect to really chew it) but flavor-wise, the Pandan is on point. The mango portion includes bits of real pulp with what I also believe is a mix of some type of syrup. So do the two flavors work well together? Hmmm. The Pandan combined with mango is interesting. It's either due to the fruit and/or syrup, but the overall mango flavor is a lot more tangy, and it is a bit of a contrast between the more subtle taste of Pandan. I did get my drink at 75% sweetness, and I think that probably meant more mango which did end up dominating the flavor profile. My sister who got the 50% sweetness said she really liked it though--I think that might be the sweet spot to better balance both flavors. Overall, I really do like how such an interesting idea came into fruition and ultimately recommend people try it out for themselves! I hope Happy Lemon continues to test out new flavors and look forward to coming back in the future.
Not many stores have bubble waffles on the menu, so I'm really glad that I can find them at Happy Lemon. This place is my go-to for bubble waffles, especially since my partner and I really enjoy them. There are various flavors like original, matcha, oreo, and even boba waffles. Matcha is my favorite flavor and I would recommend it to all matcha lovers. The waffles are always served with a warm, crispy exterior and a soft, airy interior. Despite the fact that I'm a fan of the bubble waffles here, I can't say the same for their drinks. I have tried a few drinks like Green Tea with Salted Cheese, Oreo Milk Tea, and Okinawa Roasted Milk Tea with Boba. The boba wasn't soft or chewy like it should be. I would say the drinks here are average at best, while the cups are quite flimsy. For seating, there are a few tables inside, but it doesn't seem like a great spot for large groups.

I arrived at Happy Lemon (Alhambra) on Tuesday (around 12:35PM). Parking is simple if familiar with the area. There's a hidden underground parking garage behind Happy Lemon (Alhambra). Personally, I parked at a nearby neighborhood and walked to avoid the zooming cars. This business is located near a busy, congested intersection (Garfield Ave & Valley Blvd), so be careful. It's across the street from The Hat. Happy Lemon (Alhambra) does not have a self-service kiosk; customers order at the counter. Staff is professional, welcoming, and hardworking. Staff happily answered all my questions. Staff maintained a bright, pleasant demeanor throughout my visit. My drink took one minute and 31 seconds. Fast! As mentioned, I enjoyed the Okinawa Roasted Milk Tea with Boba ($6.75 - 75% Sugar). The immediate flavor is crisp, fresh tea. The drink is not watered down nor overly milky. Rather, the drink tasted good quality and refreshing. Regarding the boba, the pearls are soft, but it's still perky and bouncy. These fresh pearls also carry a pleasant sweetness. I felt happy as I sipped. Concerning the ambiance, Happy Lemon (Alhambra) is comfortable and clean. The scent of sugary waffles wafted within. There's also utility! This business has customer internet with password; customers must talk to staff for details. There's also two electrical outlets and a gender neutral restroom with a code. I also enjoyed the upbeat music. However, Happy Lemon (Alhambra) is small. There's only three tables and a counter. Also, there's visible signs of aging from scratched paint and lightly scuffed marks. Regardless, the bright yellow lemon decor continues to shine attractively and warmly. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Happy Lemon (Alhambra). The location is welcoming; the staff is friendly; and the boba is delicious. If nearby, this is an easy recommendation. 4.8 out of 5!
First time stopping by, good size menu with plenty of drink options. I went with the lemon black tea, 50% sweetness and less ice. It was very lemony but still well balanced with the black tea. Not too sweet and not overly tart or sour either. Solid drink and quick service
Came at opening and was advised BOGO deal for their Pandan Sticky Rice drink was enough to cover first two customers. Came back nearly 2 hours later and saw a sign that says bogo deal won't be available until 4pm. How do you not be prepared to have enough drinks on your first day of this promotion and new drink?
I actually had this spot for a very long time on my try list but never got to it for reason. HOWEVER, I recommended to finally try this spot since my wife already tried it but she was very enthusiastic about me trying this place finally. (EGG WAFFLES CRAVING) I'd say, entering this plaza is a bit cramped, moderate size ground floor parking with some tight spots, but there's a underground lot which is a bit more spacious. I love the interior quite a bit, plenty of tables, and the ongoing "yellow, happy lemon" theme is very cute and very eye pleasing. Plus points for clean interior as well. We ordered the Oreo Milk Tea which was one of their star recommended drinks, we went for zero sugar for this drink as there's already sweetness added to it with the Oreo. A bit skeptical at first because of the zero % sugar but it was completely fine. Super refreshing during a warm evening, and the Oreo mixed with the milk tea gave it a great taste of creaminess from the flakes, very well made along with a nice sturdy cup. 10/10 Of course, I came here for the egg waffles and I exited with EGG WAFFLES. Freshly made by the staff, came out steaming hot, was about a 5 minute wait which is pretty quick. Super crispy with a puff of air when chewing, perfect for a late night snack as it's not too sweet, but very savory. A bit addicting if you ask me. There's also other egg waffle flavors such as Matcha, Oreo, and even Boba waffles. Will definitely be back to try those.
Came in a bit before closing and can say drinks here are actually pretty good. I ended up getting the Fresh Dragon Fruit Lychee Juice with Salted Cheese with 25% sweetness/25% ice. This drink was perfect, so refreshing and 25% was perfectly sweet IMO. They were doing a Genshin Impact promotion so the cups had anime characters on it. I would be back here, it's pretty solid. Parking - They have parking out back with underground parking if the top section fills up.

Came around 1:20 PM on a Saturday and waited about 20 minutes for a drink. We ordered the fresh passion fruit mango green tea w/ boba (75% sweet as recommended by the cashier). I normally love a sweet drink, but I'm glad we were encouraged to reduce the sweetness as even 75 is pretty sweet. When they say "fresh passionfruit" I think they likely scoop it fresh as I can taste some seeds in the drink. They're not too hard to chew, but just be prepared for a bit of a crunch. Overall, I'm not sure if I'd find myself craving their drinks, but if I'm in the mood for a fruity tea and in the area, I'd consider it!
Be prepared to be met with an amazing aroma from their waffles when you enter. The space offers some table and bench seating. Service: friendly and helpful. Came here to try the new Mango Pandan Sticky Rice Smoothie and it was pretty good! It is the new drink so it was buy one get one free. We had to wait an hour (which was expected for a new drink with a promo) but the person working in the front gave us coupons for our next visit! I appreciate the good service on a particularly busy day! Location was quite small but there's a parking lot in the back. read more
Great experience at this new Happy Lemon location in Alhambra. Passed by knew we needed to stop by. Service was great. They had a list of 10 faves as I didn't know what to get having only been to another location once many years ago. They had a Mothers Day special 2 drinks & Chinese waffle for 19.99! I think it's over tomorrow. We all loved our drinks & the regular Chinese waffle with salted cheese dip. So good. Cute spot. read more
I have usually seen Happy Lemon inside Sunmerry Bakery locations. Decided to stop by on my way to pick up my Togo order from Ipoh. Ordered 3 drinks: Oolong milk tea with boba- 0% sugar- I was surprised at how sweet the boba itself made the drink without any added sweetness. Grapefruit green tea- just normal, drink had grapefruit pulp Mango passion green tea--- the drink had passion fruit seeds inside which made it a hassle to drink. The decor is cute and store is clean. One complaint I have is that there was a buy one get one 50% off deal, which the cashier didn't mention to me. Probably would've enticed me to return sooner or more often if she did offer to me. I wouldn't go out of my way to return just for their drinks. But if I was picking up food next door at Ipoh, then yes it would be convenient. read more

I don't think I've ever been to a Happy Lemon in the US before but was very pleasantly surprised at how much it reminded me of the boba I've had in China. The cheesefoam is a classic and so delicious. Service is friendly and efficient. The interior is simple but I've gone in twice to hang out after a meal and sip on my boba. read more
Came in on a weekday night and it wasn't too busy. There is parking on the ground and additional underground. There are 2 doors you can enter Happy Lemon from. The inside was very yellow and bright. We got the lemon green tea and strawberry shortcake smoothie. Lemon green tea is pretty sour but a nice lite refreshing drink to have. The Strawberry shortcake smoothie is for the person with a sweet tooth. Very sweet but also very delicious! read more
Got an Oreo bubble waffle and some drinks. Kids loved that bubble waffle. It's fun to eat and tasty. They didn't even want toppings or dips, which are options if you want them. I was also impressed with the drinks. At some places if you ask for 50% sweet It's 50% flavor but not here. The 50% was still sweet but not too sweet, and had a lot of flavor. I would not order 100% sweet unless you are a child or have a major sweet tooth. They are really sweet at 100%. We ordered the strawberry puff, milk tea puff, passion fruit green tea, and dragonfruit slush. They were all good. read more

Happy Lemon is located on a busy street. For parking, there is a shared parking that often gets full at the ground level. There is underground parking that tends to fill up during busy times. In my recent visit, I decided to try a new drink, since I always get the Green Tea with Salted Cheese (definitely recommend). This time I ordered the Strawberry shortcake smoothie (100% ice, 50% sugar with boba). If you like strawberry milkshakes, that's exactly what this tasted like. While I enjoyed it, I would prefer to get it slightly less sweet at 25%, if I get it again. read more
Cute environment and very clean! I got the puff cream ube drink, but it's not super ube tasting. Since they're known for their other drinks, I would like to try other drinks next time. That drink particular runs very sweet. I got 50% sweet and I was still waiting for the ice to melt a little to dilute the sweetness. Service was prompt and friendly. Overall, I definitely would go back again! Their waffles smelled amazing. read more
i always make it a point to stop by happy lemon whenever i'm in the area! i love this location bc of the quick service, friendly staff, and parking. they have a lot behind the building and even underground, which is a god send during the summer. the drinks here are always consistent and love how they source all their stuff from taiwan. for the drinks, i really love the yakult ones snd the lemon slushy. the slushy was perfect during the summer heat and was super refreshing. can't adjust the sweetness on it but it wasn't overly sweet and thought it was perfect. read more

Great service and the bogo deal was such a steal. Hope they have these deals once in a while. I usually get 100 percent sweetness and dilute it which makes two drinks. My favorite was their lemon and dragon fruit slushy and their passion fruit green tea drinks. Inside is a little on the smaller side. read more
Came for grand opening and parking was easy with their underground lot. There was a line because of the BOGO promo but only about a 20min and a bit more than 5min for the drinks after ordering. 9/10 Tea with Cheese Foam $6 - got both the black and green teas and they were super refreshing! Regular sweetness was the perfect not too sweet and the cheese foam gave the creaminess and hints of savory taste. Still overpriced for a basic drink. 9/10 Waffle ~$7 - made fresh to order and was hot, crispy shell with an airy and soft interior. The waffle itself is on the light sweetness side but we got puff cream on the side to dip it in. 10/10 Puff cream for waffle $1 - So good! Rich, extra creamy, and added sweetness to the waffle! Overall a solid enhancement to the waffle. read more

I have always been a fan of happy lemon drinks and I was so excited that they've open a new location near my work. My go to drink is usually the lemon black tea 100% sugar because I have a big sweet tooth when it comes to any citrus drinks. It's a light and refreshing drink I always order. When I'm feeling something more creamy, the salted cheese foam with the black or green tea are my second options. There's something so addicting about their cheese foam that makes me want more. They also serve egg waffles as well. The place is very clean and organize. Staff are friendly. The parking lot is a bit small but they do have an underground parking. read more
I'm so glad Happy Lemon opened here! Since this place is so close to my work, this is now my go to boba place when I'm craving for drinks. This location is really clean and I love that they have seats and tables for if you want to hang out. I like how they have a monitor to show the progress of your order and how long you've been waiting for. Only bad thing is the parking here. Parking spots are pretty tight and compact and most spots in the upper lot are reserved for patients of the medical offices. My go to drink is their Freshly Squeezed Honey Lemon Green Tea with 50% sugar and 50% ice. I love that they use real lemon so you can actually taste the tartness. I also really like their Salted Cheese series. I get the The Black Tea with Salted Cheese, which has a really nice balance of sweet and salty. Make sure you download their app and sign up for their reward program to earn free drinks! read more
3 stars because their boba texture was not chewy. It was too soft for me. For me to enjoy the drink the main factor is the boba. I ordered a simple jasmine milk tea. I really love their bubble waffle, it was delicious. Upon entering you could smell the waffle cooking, it smells so good so I had to try it. My daughter loved the Oreo one, perfectly sweetened, it was fluffy, airy with a bit of chewiness. read more

I came here for the grand opening on the weekend for the BOGO deal. Parking isn't too hard since there are a few parking spaces on the top and the underground parking lot. Coming out of the parking lot was harder because of the angle and the cars blocking the way. I don't recall how many boba shops had replaced this spot, but hopefully this one is more successful. During the grand opening, they gave samples of the original waffle and what I think was the green tea with salted cheese. Both tasted very good...I was pleasantly surprised by the tea. Service was very good and orderly although there were so many people. The interior is very colorful and clean. There are also tables and chairs for people to sit and eat. Drinks are good quality. Even just their simple drinks like the honey green tea are good quality tea. Strong in tea flavor and isn't watered down. They've done well for grand opening with the BOGO over the weekend to kickstart their new store opening. I tried: - mango yakult smoothie $6.50 (regular sweetness is tasty but super sweet in my opinion) - honey green tea $5.25 - strawberry shortcake smoothie $7.00 All 3 drinks were made perfectly well and I love the taste. They made a great 1st impression for me. Would definitely come back. Parking is inside the plaza, and there's underground parking. Entrance/exit into plaza parking can be easy to miss on Garfield, so do slow down and be careful. read more
