You pick up the order yourself with the number at the counter. Self serve the utensils and napkins and put the dishes away when done. There is plenty of seating inside. Used to really like this place, but it's not the same anymore. They took away the combo dessert menu which was the reason I kept going back. They still have their signature series, but I liked the variety of different ingredient combos they used to have, especially the grass jelly, which is my favorite. I went for the first time in more than 2 years, and the portions shrunk significantly. Plus, the coffee creamer that comes with the signature is now Land O' Lakes half and half. I consider this to be a massive downgrade from the one they used to give, which was much richer and creamier. The one I had today tasted bland. They started making the puffy egg waffle which my fiancé likes so we got that. I hate to say it because I come here for their signature dishes over anything else, but it was pretty good. There is a large indoor seating area with comfortable seats. You can order at the counter or at the kiosks. We got the Signature Ice Grass Jelly ($10) and added red bean topping ($1), and also got the Signature Hot Red Bean Soup ($10) with additional grass jelly as topping ($1). The toppings are kinda expensive so didn't add more. The menu has a good variety of dessert options, hot and cold, plus drinks. Their shaved ice looked pretty good so I do want to come back someday. We did dine in so we took a seat while we waited. When the order is ready, they send a text to the number provided and you go to the pick up area. And they have small bowls and spoons to grab yourself if needed, which I liked. I liked the signature ice grass jelly. The portion is pretty big for the price and is good enough for two people to share. The taro and pumpkin balls are as good as I remember, and they tasted good with the grass jelly and shaved ice. I did do less ice but it was still a big portion for two. It tasted extra good after adding the half and half. For the hot red bean soup, it was pretty good too with the taro scoops inside. But I still prefer the iced desserts. Overall, this is a safe dessert spot option for Taiwanese grass jelly, shaved ice, and drinks. They have lots of Taiwanese options to choose from. I think it isn't as popular as it used to be with all the new spots opening up but it is a good Taiwanese dessert and boba spot. Cute dessert stop, but I'm going back to my usual! Plenty of parking inside the plaza, and there are so many goodies around (Summer Rolls and more) that we still haven't even tried yet. That being said... this plaza gets SUPER packed, so even though parking exists, you'll feel like you won the lottery if you find a spot right away. This is our usual go-to location. You order through a kiosk, and once your dessert is ready, they text you to pick it up. Honestly, it's quick, efficient, and the place is clean with plenty of tables. Service is fast... mainly because you're not even ordering with a human -- just you and the kiosk living your best modern life. We normally stick with our favorite: the Grass Jelly Signature. Simple, refreshing, and always hits the spot. But since it was Valentine's and after our movie date night, we decided to try something different and went for the Crystal Mochi Milk Shaved Ice. It was really good for the first six bites... and then the sweetness started to take over. Between the vanilla syrup and the vanilla ice cream on top, it became a little too much for me. Dessert overload is real. It did come with lots of toppings, and I'm glad we tried something new, but for almost $16 after tax, I'd rate it about a 6.3/10. If u need the bathroom, they won't give u the code, u MUST purchase something first and then you'll get a code to use bathroom .. my daughter had to use bathroom so badly but we had to order first . We tried to ask employee if we can use it first. Strictly whisper 'no'. So I asked another person... he gave us the wrong code .... unbelievable employees here. Atmosphere is nice . Parking is hard to find, so go underground for parking. Its in a nice plaza with a variety of foods and places to hang out if u want to come here to meet with friends and family . I've been coming here since they've been opened. I remembered the days when the lines were out the door and there were no kiosk ordering. It's nice to see it's still busy on a Friday night with big groups gathering. Because of the big groups, it's quite loud. Good amount of seating but the attention to the tables is lacking. I understand it gets busy, but the tables were not wiped down. We had to do it ourselves. The servers are not very friendly considering the fact that we're not even ordering with them. I will tell my story as how it happened. I was in Temple City. I needed to use the restroom like quick. I got lucky to have found a parking spot in the Camellia Square where Meet Fresh is located. I knew they were the biz that would have a restroom. I quickly walked in and headed to the restroom area. A code is required. I had to get the code from the staff at the front counter. I thought they were "All Gender" restrooms so I quickly punched in the code at the very first restroom closest to me. Well, they are not "All Gender" restrooms. I mistakenly went into the wrong restroom. Oh well, first time for everything. Funny thing is that two people came into the restroom I was in shortly after I entered. Luckily, they used the urinal. It's my fault I entered the wrong restroom, but seriously, they should have a different code for the women's and men's restrooms IMHO. This is one story that I will never forget! LOL In support of Meet Fresh, I ordered the Coco Sago Soup Signature to-go via their self-ordering kiosk. Staff was friendly. The wait time wasn't too bad. Unfortunately, for the last few Meet Fresh locations including this one that I have visited recently, their dining area is just a mess. Tables and chairs are not clean and organized. Floors are not swept. Atmosphere just looks dirty. Sorry, but I am a stickler when it comes to cleaniless and organization. They need to have dedicated staff to attend to the dining area throughout the day. THIS IS A MUST! Anyway, the Coco Sago Soup Signature had tons of great ingredients such as taro, miniature taro balls, soft and chewy boba, coconut flavored mochi, soft and bouncy sago, and freshly made coco sago soup which I love. It is ALWAYS such a mess when I go here but I'm not surprised since it's in one of the top worse fisted busy plazas in the 626 and you can't deny that it's a great place to grab some dessert after getting a meal from a restaurant in the same plaza. They do have self serve ordering kiosks but they are a bit slow and laggy, and almost ALWAYS sticky sadly. It might be easier to just order from the staff. Also the times I've gone, only 1 ordering kiosk is usually free. Tables and floors are sticky and some buffoons almost always stack and leave trash there despite there being designated areas to do so. I usually try to get a corner in the back table where the utensils and the drop off window is to make my escape much more efficient, but it is what it is. Clientele, probably triggered by their own unmeasurable misery by being in the plaza, can be quite rude. I've had friends been cut in front of by women resembling turtles and when confronted feign ignorance or get real Karen-y. Lady, meet me to 1v1 in the lot, your grass jelly isn't at the cost of your human decency. I've only ever gotten their huge grass jelly bowls with the shaved ice, generous grass jelly, QQ mochi balls, and creamer on top, almost always since I usually only get Mikiya here and those 2 go great after some hot shabu shabu. Though I have tried their hot dessert which slaps more on a cold day. It's a great franchise with yummy desserts but this is kind of not the best of all the locations I've been to. read more

Meet Fresh is my go-to spot for Egg Waffles. I love ordering via their self-pay kiosk but not too crazy about the wait for the order - it can take up to 20 to 30 minutes. Price is average and portions & taste are equivalent to that. They share a parking lot along with 8 other dining establishments, a bakery, some retail shops, and a gym so finding a parking may be a bit rough if you come during dinner time or weekends. Once Upon a Time this place had more customer service and now everything is pretty much automated. You order from machines when you go in and then pick up your order at a counter with no pager or any notification of any sort. You just kind of have to figure it out. Not going to lie, there's stuff used to be considered pretty overpriced but now it's pretty much on par with how expensive everything's gotten. They didn't really raise their prices so I would consider it almost Fair now. I usually customize a grass jelly dessert and sometimes will get drinks. The one thing you can expect from them is definitely consistency. If you like their stuff you will, if you don't you won't. I won't post a picture of all the things other people take pictures of but I will definitely say absolutely do not get their egg waffle. I would probably give 4.5 or 5 stars for flavor. I ordered hot coco sago soup with potaro balls. Had I known it already came with so many ingredients, I wouldn't have added anything. The flavor was on point! I also tried some of my husband's pudding and q-mo shaved ice, which was also delicious. FYI, portions are huge (which explains the prices). I was able to eat it two more times after! The reason this place was knocked down to 4 stars was because they only provide the smallest takeout containers for leftovers. I tried to ask for larger ones, and they actually told me it would cost $0.75! Ridiculous. You mean to tell me that it's more cost-effective to use 2-3 small containers rather than 1 larger container?! Make it make sense. I understand this policy is likely in place from management and perhaps has to do with keeping inventory, but it's not a good look. If inventory is the issue, you can get generic takeout containers. This alone gives me pause to recommend eating here in the future. Also, I normally try to be generous with tipping, but their setup basically works as takeout. There is a good service and a good amount of seating during a Saturday. Comparable to the Santa Anita one which usually gets really busy.

I've been here a couple times and I've pretty much solidified my review. This place isn't bad for drinks, but they can taste a little on the less sweet side. Some of their drinks are a bit different, but it's just taste preference. I got the creme brûlée green tea and it was okay, not bad. My little brother got the milk tea with boba and liked it. The place is big with lots of seating. I didn't like how it was hard to get a workers attention as everything is self service and you'll be standing at the front for a while of waiting to ask a question or get help. One thing I absolutely did not like was that WiFi was advertised on the door, but when I went inside with my laptop after I ordered a drink, I was told there was no WiFi in the store. If I had known, I wouldn't have ordered and would have gone somewhere else with WiFi. Don't advertise it if you won't provide it please because some people look for places to study! I enjoy coming here after eating at a nearby KBBQ across the plaza. The jasmine milk tea here is very floral - not a huge fan but typically I do enjoy the drinks here and their teas. They have quite a large menu so there's plenty of options to choose from. One of our favorites is the ice grass jelly signature! I could eat a big bowl of this!! The pork floss waffle had a promotion for $4.99. Free P Fruit Sorbet Scoop $1.50 with order. The tofu was not silky as all. The potato balls were hard. Tasted as if they came out of the freezer. The Pork Floss Waffle portion was so small, but tasted really good. We got the passion fruit sorbet. It was alright. Don't like coming here because there's no service at all. A more savory dessert, but it worked - and with the brown sugar milk tea, it was a nice way to end our meal with friends. The inside was spacious with good lighting and lots of seating on both sides of the counter - one side has more, though. We came at the right time because it got crowded quickly. I had MeetFresh several times in the past, but this location is not it. I ordered hot tofu pudding and hot grass jelly, and the food was done within 15 minutes. However, I wished they had put in more effort because my tofu pudding came out cold. I was so confused because the bowl was warm but the tofu pudding was freezing when I bit into it. I soon realized that the "hot" food was just a microwaved version of the original based on the temperature inconsistency throughout the tofu pudding and the soup. Unsure if all MeetFresh locations microwave the "hot" food, but the temperature problem had never stood out as much as it did in this location... Stopped by for a quick dessert with friends. It gets really busy at this location during certain hours. Luckily we had no issues getting a table, but parking can be a challenge. There is parking underground, but even that can get full. Modern looking interior with a decent amount of tables/chairs. They have a good selection of drinks and desserts - shaved ice, egg waffles, etc. We got the black sugar boba milk tea, which was... okay. We also got their egg waffle with taro and pork sung. It was surprisingly good. Would never have thought of that combination. One complaint - they have kiosks for ordering, but the one we used would not work. We had a lot of difficulty trying to recognize our finger movements and tapping on the screen. It got frustrating and then add in the people waiting behind you to finish. Expect a perfectly curated dessert featuring chewy taro balls, herbal jelly, and refreshing herbal grass jelly shaved ice. Top it off with Meet Fresh's signature coffee creamer if you want a creamier texture" - This is our go-to, which is really a classic. We usually have our meet fresh delivered so it was yummy to have it in person with the icy grass jelly still icy not melted. The grass jelly isn't too sweet, and adding the coffee creamer does bring about a creaminess. The taro balls had a good texture, not too hard. Note, indoor seating only! Customer Service: They don't really provide much customer service. We ordered through the self-ordering kiosk, got our order from them, and sat down. Not much interaction at all.
