This place used to be one of my favorite dessert spots, but I feel like the experience of coming here has gone downhill. The menus don't list prices. Probably because the prices of everything are so high now, so you just order and get sticker shock when you get your receipt. Kiosks didn't work for me. Then when I went up to the counter to order, the guy working just had zero personality. Dining area was crowded and didn't seem clean. Bathrooms didn't have toilet paper or paper towels to dry hands. When I informed an employee, he just said sorry. No, "I'll get someone on it" or anything. So there's no one maintaining the restrooms. Desserts itself were ok. I felt like the ingredients tasted better before. The hot grass jelly dessert was not really hot, it had congealed so it was kind of a weird texture. Came on a Sunday evening... there are 2 self ordering kiosks and I usually like to order at the register but it supposedly wasn't working. The lines to the kiosks were long. I was waiting patiently until I see a party come in and went straight to the register and ordered with the employee. They basically bypassed the kiosk lines and ordered before me and others waiting... I have gotten To-go many times (Cerritos location) and my order is usually a customized Icy Grass Jelly and a customized hot Grass Jelly. The price for the 2 are steep but I am usually okay since it's a treat-- $27 (for dessert) . I arrived home super excited and come to find out they skimmed me! At the Cerritos location, I get 2 separate bowls 1 of Icy Grass Jelly and 1 of the actual grass jelly and the toppings on the side. Call me a fat ass but the toppings were ridiculous. Don't order To-go at this location. Dine in orders are huge and shareable. To-go is for 1 person craving more... Tables are dirty and sticky and not once did I see anyone wiping down during the 40 mins I was there. read more

Parking tonight was insane! I did come on a Saturday night, and we circled around outside and then in the underground parking lot for a good 20 minutes, before finding a spot. The business itself was also very crowded and loud tonight. We used a kiosk to order our desserts and then waited to be texted for our orders. We ordered a hot signature red bean soup and my friends got the tofu pudding cold. The red bean soup was the perfect amount of sweetness, and the mixture of textures from the soft red beans to the chewy mochi and boba was amazing. But, the tofu pudding wasn't soft or silken, like we expected. It was very firm. I would reorder the red bean again, but skip the tofu next time. I did like that the restaurant had a separate hand washing station next to where trays are to be returned. There is also tons of seating (large and small), but every seat was taken tonight when I came around 7pm. All in all, pretty good place if you like traditional Taiwanese desserts. read more

i've been to this location quite a bit -- i lov how it's pretty big (and can get packed sometimes) and opens later than the rowland heights location; 10pm compared to 9pm. i usually order the icy grass jelly signature and that consists of jelly, 18 taro balls to be exact (my friends used to be employees lol), a smol lil cup of half & half, and your choice of ice level. the less ice, the more jelly they give! but honestly no nutritional value to me HAHA i wish there was more half & half like next time i'm bringing my own :3 other items on the menu are good too, like the boba drinks and egg waffles and such, but their signature food is what they're known for :-) lots of chinese speakers and families that come by ~ so it can be hella loud ~ kiosk order for easy access. read more

The drinks were amazing, I got the iced green tea with honey and Sago with mini Q balls drink. We also got the Sago dessert with mini Q balls, jelly and boba tapioca pearls + mochi balls. Very refreshing and delicious sweet treat. The service is efficient and fast, we got our order in five minutes after ordering. There's almost no interaction with any of the workers besides them calling your number. Everything is pretty self done. I am not a fan of their drinks because it tastes like whole milk and tea mixed together; it doesn't really taste like milk tea. It can get really crowded day or night, weekday or weekend. Ordered a sago and a Double Taro Signature, each with a few addons. This is a great place to check out with friends to share a nice refreshing dessert or snack. The sago is really nice and not too sweet, a nice viscous consistency. The Double Taro Signature has a grass jelly base and lots of mix-ins, this was a fun drink to mix together and enjoy. You definitely should mix them after you've taken all your photos to enjoy the flavors in one bite. The place is pretty busy with orders coming in frequently. You order from the digital kiosks or up front at the counter. The options are endless to choose from and there's many add ons to ad. The place is nicely themed with good Asian inspired decor. The staff are relatively good with order times and they were really nice to interact with when picking up my order. Meet Fresh in prime location of good eats. Located in a plaza filled with great restaurant, this is usually a go-to spot after a nice meal. Parking is tricky during evenings and weekends. There are also underground parking entrance in the back. This location is busy and quite popular. Sometimes ordering can be quick but the wait to get the actual dessert can be up to 15 minutes long. I feel there is a lack of organization or roles in the shop. Last time we were waiting near the pick up counter, we saw an order on the counter that looked like ours. No staff was there to call out the ready to pick up. We stared at that tray for 5 more minutes, went up to the counter, and asked about our order. The staff then checks the tray that's been sitting there and said "oh this is yours". We had gotten shaved ice and by the time we claimed it, the dessert was melted with puddle of creamy water. I stopped by on a Thursday evening & it was relatively busy, but nice, lively ambiance. I came to get some dessert w/ 3 other friends & we initially wanted to get a Taro Shaved Ice but they ran out of taro, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the service was slow and it took awhile to get our dessert. I didn't mind much since I was there to catch up with my friends, but definitely keep in mind if you are on a time crunch. Besides the ordering however, the desserts are relatively sweet and healthy, with a wait of approximately 40 minutes today. The restaurant is relatively clean and there are plenty of self-serve items, such as containers and napkins, as well as hand cleansers. We were able to find a table for the five of us and it was quite fun being able to converse among us, including my grandson. This is my favorite place to have some yummy Taiwanese dessert. My most favorite dessert from here is Grass jelly. It's so good! And I also ordered shaved ice for my kids, I got a medium size but it was HUGE. You can share it with 3 to 4 people. Brown sugar sauce was amazing. Not too sweet, just perfect. Meet Fresh never fails to quench my dessert cravings -- especially after eating Korean BBQ on a mega hot day. We tried an icy taro ball signature which was my favorite! Super icey and refreshing. It was honestly difficult to stop eating it once I started. It was also difficult to remember that I was supposed to be sharing it with 3 other people when it tasted too good to be shared. Next was the Pudding & Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice. I thought it was just alright and almost too sweet/filling compared to the taro ball signature. Everyone else seemed to enjoy it though. I absolutely do NOT recommend going to this location of meet fresh. I've been to a handful of other locations but this one takes the cake for the most incompetent workers. I placed my order online and after I had picked it up and went home I noticed that all the toppings I added for a total of $5 were NOT in my bag. Disappointedly, I drove BACK to meet fresh to amend this issue and I was shocked to find that the employees working didn't even seem to remember making my order or much less care. All of their staff seemed like new trainees and there was no supervisor present. I will not be returning here and my kids are very disappointed we won't be coming back. I visited on a quiet Thursday night and ordered a to-go taro ball series ice and a drink. Although there were only 5-6 parties in the place, we waited over 20 minutes while people who ordered after us received their items first. Thankfully, one attentive employee noticed the delay, checked on our order, and promptly made our drink. However, I overheard one of the female staff members say that they had "no control" over missing orders, shrugged it off, and walked away. She appeared to be a teenager and didn't seem adequately trained for handling these issues. To management: Please consider improving the technology used to manage orders. The experience has not been up to par for a few years now. Why do I keep coming back and even spend the time to leave a review? 1) Location, 2)unique offering and 3)Pride: this is one of the few Taiwanese concepts that has a possibility to break into mainstream market. Not sure if the management knows that employee turnover hurts the business. The employees do not consistently know the menu or promotional items. You'll get lucky if there is one veteran in a shift that knows the complete operation. It's pretty bad when the store is not that busy and employee still ask the customer to use the self ordering kiosk. I'll continue to come back here because they have my favorite dessert items. I hope they can elevate the training, which should lead to better service and experience. read more

Not a local in this area, but I've been to the Irvine and Westminster locations very occasionally so I was wary to come here after seeing reviews. I absolutely understand why now :/ The ordering system is through a self-checkout monitor. This isn't a problem because there was honestly not that many people there (and on a Saturday too!). I went in with two people and we got 5 drinks. A reasonable amount of time for it to finish would be in 10 minutes, but we really didn't leave the store until 20-25 minutes later. Super slow service in comparison to other Meet Fresh locations. Two other people I was with got their drinks within 5 minutes at Tea Station so they had to wait on us before they could leave. Other than that, I decided to try out a new drink: QQ Winter Melon Tea with Boba! I was pretty good and I might consider getting it again for the future! read more

I would also recommend for the Temple City location, which I frequent the most, to go early on weekend nights because it gets BUSY.
